Cinego Shorts is initiating a special 2-day virtual screening to highlight Mental Health through specifically curated films with the aim of tackling the stigma and discrimination associated with the health condition on the occasion of World Mental Health Day 2021.

We invite all the filmmakers to submit their films that explore the concept of Mental Health, and highlight various ways that this term can be understood and reflected. If you think your story is compelling and fits within the theme, then submit your films and be a part of this virtual event.

Screening Rules
Selected films will be screen via our official YouTube channel and accessible free to watch globally. All the rights belong to the author of the films and will be properly quoted while screening and will be offline after the event.

Due to the #Covid19 pandemic where social distancing is a must, we are hosting our event through online streaming on our official YouTube channel. We look forward to your enthusiastic involvement in Cinego Shorts curated theme ‘Mental Health’ by submitting short films that you have made from 2015 onwards. The films must have credits included, English subtitles embedded, and shared as 1080P MOV/MP4 files.

CRITERIA & CATEGORIES

1. There is no entry fee to submit a film.

2. The event theme is based on Mental Health and it is non-competitive in categories of fiction, experimental, animation & documentary films. The duration of the films should not be more than 25 minutes including credits. English subtitles must be embedded in the film.

CONTENT GUIDELINES
Content of the submitted film(s) should be creative and completely original including the sound/music used and should not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties. Under no circumstances should the content of the films contain any offensive language, violence, religious content or hate speech, defamatory content, politically sensitive topics, material or comment and sexual innuendos or nudity. Any film containing one or more of the above mentioned will be disqualified.

CLAIMS & COPYRIGHTS
All copyrights and intellectual properties belong to their authors and will be properly quoted. We are not responsible for any legal disputes and claims about the usage or promotion of film that were submitted to us for online screening.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. There is no entry fee for submission.

2. Duration cannot exceed 25 minutes runtime.

3. Cinego Shorts may use up to 10 percent of the entry’s running time for promotional purposes.

4. Cinego Shorts will not bear any expenses for participants nor provide any screening fees.

5. Submitting your films to us is not a guarantee of selection.

6. We will communicate all details through email communications only, please give authorized email and respond to emails ASAP. No phone call inquires. All submissions will be notified via email of acceptance.

7. The decision of the programmers is final and not questionable.

8. Cinego Shorts reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any point and suspend and/or modify the event if necessary.
