1. GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

1.1 Only two maximum works in competition per author will be accepted, with a maximum duration of short films of 40 minutes (credits included). Feature films from 40 to 125 minutes (credits included). Documentary with a maximum duration of 10 to 125 minutes. And series with a maximum of 50 minutes.

1.2 Works that are not adapted to the Spanish language could be rejected (They can be languages ​​such as Catalan, Basque, Galician ... with their subtitles in Spanish). Any work from other countries that does not have Spanish as a language must have subtitles in Spanish.
1.3 The production date of all the works in competition may not be earlier than January 1, 2019.

1.4.8 Best Latin American Fiction Feature Film (Latin America Only)
Fiction feature films, documentaries will not be accepted. Feature films will be 40 to 125 minutes. The genres that will be accepted are: Science Fiction, comedy, drama, horror, suspense, action ..., never documentary. Image quality should be at least HD (1280 x 720p). The works must be from 2019 to 2021. (They may participate: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba. Dominican. Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela) All work that is not Spanish as the main language must have subtitles in Spanish.

1.4.9 Best short film of “3 minutes or less: technology” (International). All works from anywhere in the world that talk about new technologies will be accepted. Technologies can be treated with a positive or negative view. They can be short films of science fiction, drama, horror, fantasy, comedy, mystery ... but they cannot be documentaries. They must have subtitles in Spanish, if the work is not in Spanish.
The quality must be at least Full High Definition, HD Ready 1080p, True High Definition, 1080p. The duration of the short film must be less than 3 minutes and the work must have been produced between 2019 to 2021.

1.5 The contestants will be solely responsible for the fact that their works do not violate any intellectual or industrial property rights, nor the right of exploitation, nor the right to honor, privacy and self-image, nor any other rights of third parties nor the legislation. valid. The Festival organization declines any legal responsibility in relation to the short films presented at the Festival and their content.

1.6 All works presented in previous editions will be disqualified.

2. REGISTRATION AND SELECTION

2.1 Registration will be done through one of the platforms associated with the Festival: FESTHOME,

2.2 The registration start date will be February 1, 2021.

2.3 Participating works can participate until the end of August 2021. Works received after this date will be discarded. (It can be modified, in this case IT WOULD BE ANNOUNCED BY SOCIAL NETWORKS OR WEB)

2.4 All the works that are registered in the Festival may contain subtitles in Spanish (it is optional, but mandatory if they are for those works that do not speak Spanish).

2.5 An internal committee of the Festival will decide, from among the works presented that meet the minimum characteristics, which works will become part of each category. (Possibly that After registration, an email will be sent where it will have to be filled in to obtain extra information)

3. SELECTED WORKS

3.1 Each of the authors (or contact person) of the selected short films will be notified of the selection, as well as the section of which they will be part.

3.2 The works selected for the competition will be announced through the Festival's own media. Once announced, interested parties may make their selection public.
The Festival has priority to promote the works that will make up the Official Section

3.3 The selected works may not leave the Festival under any circumstances.

3.4 The nominations will be made public at the beginning of October (In September, the exact date will be published through social networks and the web).

3.4 If the festival could not be held for reasons of COVID-19 or other reasons, the festival would be held online from November 18 to 21, 2021 (The nominated works would be broadcast so that they will be seen live through a channel and then it will be deleted.) There will be a possibility that in those 4 days of festival they will be uploaded to a platform and at the end of the festival they will be deleted. The gala will be on Monday, November 22.

4. JURY AND awards

4.1.1 The Jury will be made up of people related to the world of cinema and culture.

4.1.2 This year the works in competition in the Official Section will be screened. If this cannot be done, it will be broadcast online, free of charge, live through a live broadcast, which will not be saved.

4.1.5 The works in competition in the Official Section will compete for the following prizes: CATEGORY TROPHY (There may also be cash and / or other prizes). * Shipping costs so far are borne by the festival.

4.1.6 The prizes may not be declared ex aequo or void.
