The Industry Academy Colombia is an intensive training program created by the Locarno Film Festival in 2014, aimed at young professionals in the film industry working in areas such as distribution, sales, marketing, exhibition, and festival programming.
The second edition of the Industry Academy Colombia took place from July 14 to 18, 2024, in collaboration with the Bogotá Audiovisual Market (BAM).

Industry Academy Colombia
Syncro Lab 2025 is the training and development call of the Syncro Film Fest, aimed at people over 18 years old residing in Argentina. It is a short film script competition open to fiction, non-fiction, or hybrid projects, with a maximum length of 20 pages (PDF format, Courier 12, single spacing).
Submissions are open from February 3 to May 7, 2025, with an entry fee of ARS 7,000. Up to 10 scripts will be selected, and their authors will take part in group mentoring and development sessions during the festival, which will be held June 16–19, 2025 in Buenos Aires.
A jury will choose one winning script, which will receive ARS 500,000, plus professional post‑production services (5.1 mix, color grading, DCP and export deliveries), distribution by Hablemos de Langostas, and support for material delivery. Technical prizes must be used within one year.

Syncro Lab
The Cine en Construcción 45 program will take place on March 26 and 27, 2026 in Toulouse, as part of the Professional Platform of the Cinélatino Festival. This initiative supports Latin American films in post-production, helping them finalize, circulate internationally, and present their work to industry professionals.
Applications are open until January 28, 2026. Six projects will be selected by a dedicated committee, focusing on innovative and diverse works. The main goal of Cine en Construcción is to promote selected feature films to international festivals and markets, fostering connections and collaborations between filmmakers and producers.
The call accepts only feature-length films in fiction, animation, experimental, or hybrid formats, targeting Latin American filmmakers. Since 2002, this program has served as a launchpad for emerging films to reach audiences and strengthen their professional journey, highlighting cultural diversity and fresh perspectives in Latin American cinema.

Cinema in Progress – TOULOUSE
MECAS (Mercado del Cine Casi Hecho) is an annual event held within the framework of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival. Its aim is to promote the internationalization of film projects in advanced postproduction stages or with a first cut, facilitating contact between filmmakers and industry professionals.

The Pitch Guadalajara – Fantastic Genre is a call for Ibero-American feature film projects in development, with a running time over 70 minutes, focusing on horror, fantasy, and science fiction. The program aims to connect filmmakers with industry professionals through panel presentations and one-on-one meetings, fostering opportunities for funding and co-production.
Applications are open from January 12 to February 13, 2026, and selected projects will participate during the Guadalajara International Film Festival, taking place from April 17 to April 25, 2026, in Guadalajara, Mexico. The initiative seeks to promote the visibility of emerging talent in fantastic cinema and create a professional and creative exchange environment within Ibero-America.
