The Industry Academy Brasil is an intensive training program created by the Locarno Film Festival in 2014, designed to foster innovation among young professionals in the film industry, focusing on areas such as distribution, sales, film marketing, exhibition, and festival programming. This program is aimed at young professionals with the goal of providing them with strategic tools to enhance their skills and strengthen their presence in the international film market.
The program takes place within the framework of BrLab, a renowned event in Brazil dedicated to the training, development, and support of the audiovisual industry in Latin America. BrLab is a key space for cinema professionals seeking to improve their projects, gain knowledge about the global industry, and strengthen their network of contacts. Industry Academy Brasil
CineMart, the 43rd edition of IFFR Pro’s co-production market, will take place during the 55th International Film Festival Rotterdam from January 29 to February 8, 2026. For the first time, it introduces CineMart x HBF, highlighting projects supported by the Hubert Bals Fund. The call is open for feature-length and immersive projects in development seeking co-production and financing partners. There is a tiered fee structure: early (€25 excl. VAT) until July 7, 2025; standard (€35) until August 21; late (€55) until the final deadline on August 27, 2025. Projects must be debuting at Rotterdam, viable, and led by a director-producer team. Feature films need a minimum 60‑minute runtime, full script available during CineMart, at least secured national or third‑party funding, budgets under €6M, and international coproduction potential. Immersive works (VR/AR/MR/360°) should be in development, with ≥25 % of the budget secured, created by experienced immersive artists, new to the market, with full documentation in English. Rotterdam - Cinemart
The European Film Market (EFM) 2026 will take place from February 12 to 16, 2026 in Berlin, Germany. The call is open to film and television professionals who have a project in development or a completed work seeking international distribution. Accreditation is required to participate in EFM activities, including screenings, networking meetings, and industry trend panels.
Participation provides strategic networking opportunities, access to exhibition spaces, and attendance at conferences with international experts. Accreditation applications will open through the official registration ahead of the event. berlinale - European Film Market
The Galician Freaky Film Festival (GFFF), based in Spain, hosts an international call aimed at the development of short films within the fantastic genre. The initiative supports original projects in horror, science fiction, and other “freak”-related subgenres, specifically targeting works that are still in development and not yet produced.
The call is open to participants of any nationality, including individuals, production companies, film schools, and similar entities. Selected projects will take part in a pitching session, where they must present and defend their proposals before a professional jury during the festival.

GFFF - Freak Pitch
Within the framework of the 11th Antofagasta/Chile International Film Festival, ANTOFACINE, the third edition of AntofaLAB, a project laboratory whose objective is to promote productions made in the northern zone of Chile (Antofagasta, Arica and Parinacota, Tarapacá, Atacama, Coquimbo), and in the bordering countries of northern Chile (Peru, Bolivia and Argentina).
