Ideatoon es una estrategia para impulsar la creación y desarrollo de proyectos animados que puedan ser comercializados a nivel internacional.
El eje que articula esta estrategia es un Concurso de Ideas para series y películas animadas, cuyo primer premio en 2025 será la producción de un teaser o un piloto corto del proyecto ganador para ser presentado en mercados y eventos aliados.

The workshop is dedicated to directors and scriptwriters with a project in an early stage of development – initial idea, synopsis, short treatment – for a short film of any kind (animation, documentary, experimental and fiction) from the following countries: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Lebanon, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey.

ShorTS Development Pitching Training
IDFAcademy is an intensive four-day program held within the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), aimed at directors and producers working on their first or second feature-length documentary. It targets filmmakers who have demonstrated national talent and seek to expand internationally. The program includes talks with renowned filmmakers, panel discussions, case studies, and networking events focused on global documentary market trends and challenges.
Applicants must submit a form including their biography, filmography, motivation, and learning goals. Optional materials include ongoing projects and audiovisual samples. IDFAcademy is not a traditional project development lab but a professional training and networking platform.
The application deadline is August 1, 2025, and the program runs from November 13 to 16, 2025, in Amsterdam. About 100 participants from around the world will be selected.

This is an opportunity for filmmakers, producers, distributors, film schools, among others, to meet with programmers from the most important international film festivals. The goal of this meeting is to deepen the understanding of the specifics of each event and promote films within the international circuit. Meet the Festivals is part of the Curtas Pro section of the 33rd Curtas Vila do Conde IFF and is limited to 24 participants. MEET THE FESTIVALS - Curtas Vila do Conde IFF
El Foro de Coproducción Europa-América Latina del Festival de San Sebastián 2025 se celebrará del 22 al 24 de septiembre. Está dirigido a proyectos de ficción y no ficción con una duración mínima de 60 minutos y al menos el 20% de financiación asegurada. Los proyectos europeos deben tener una vinculación expresa con América Latina. La convocatoria está abierta desde el 16 de abril hasta el 16 de junio de 2025 .
El Foro facilita encuentros entre productores, financiadores y profesionales de la industria audiovisual para fomentar coproducciones entre Europa y América Latina. Además, se ofrecen premios para apoyar el desarrollo de los proyectos seleccionados .
