The Rotterdam Lab 2026 is a program for emerging international film producers seeking to expand their professional network and develop feature-length projects with international co-production potential. It is open to independent producers, freelancers, or junior producers in production companies, with no age limit, who have completed at least two short films and are working on their first or second feature.
The program prioritizes diversity and inclusion, especially welcoming applicants from minority, indigenous, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, disabled communities, or underrepresented regions in the international film industry.
Selected participants receive full access to IFFR Pro and CineMart 2026, including accreditation for meetings, screenings, networking events, and five nights of accommodation. Travel expenses are not covered.
The lab takes place during the International Film Festival Rotterdam, from late January to early February 2026. Applicants must submit an application form, CV, and motivation letter, with an optional portfolio or dossier. The main focus is on the international potential of the project and the producer’s ability to contribute to and benefit from the lab.

Lab - IFFR
CONECTA 2025 is an international documentary industry meeting organized by CCDoc (Chilean Documentary Corporation). Its 10th edition will take place from December 9 to 12, 2025, in a hybrid format combining onsite and online activities. Applications are open until July 28, 2025 at 23:59 (Santiago time, GMT‑4) and are aimed at Latin American projects or co‑productions with the region.
Main sections include: CONECTADOS, for feature documentaries in development or production; CONECTA WITH DISTRIBUTION, for films in editing, postproduction, or recently completed but unreleased; PITCH THE WHICKERS, for first features in development with onsite participation; and DOCS IN PROGRESS FIDOCS + CONECTA, for advanced editing projects receiving mentoring and prizes.
The event offers one‑on‑one meetings, workshops, talks, and networking opportunities, plus awards such as mentorships, postproduction services, and international market accreditations.

CONNECT - Industry
El MIA 2025 abre su convocatoria para productores con proyectos en desarrollo en las categorías de Animación, Documental, Ficción y Drama. Se seleccionarán hasta 50 proyectos internacionales que busquen coproducción, financiación o acuerdos de preventa. Los proyectos deben estar destinados a distribución cinematográfica, emisión televisiva o plataformas digitales. La fecha límite para la presentación es el 19 de junio de 2025 a las 17:00 CEST.
Los seleccionados participarán en el Pitching Forum durante el evento, que se celebrará en Roma del 6 al 10 de octubre de 2025. Además, podrán optar a los MIA Development Awards, que incluyen un premio en efectivo de 5.000 € por categoría.
La participación está abierta a productores principales con una empresa de producción registrada. Se permite la presentación de múltiples proyectos, siempre que cada uno cumpla con los criterios de elegibilidad. Los materiales deben enviarse en inglés.

MIA CO-PRODUCTION MARKET
The Hollywood Storytellers Script Competition is an international screenwriting contest open to feature films, shorts, and TV pilots across all genres. The submission deadline is November 2, 2025. Scripts must be submitted in English as PDFs and meet standard length requirements per category. The jury consists of industry professionals from major studios such as Disney, Netflix, and Warner Bros. Participants can optionally request executive feedback with a free resubmission option. Winners receive laurels, certificates, industry exposure, and an invitation to attend the live event in Los Angeles on March 21 and 22, 2026. In collaboration with the film project incubator RUTA CRÍTICA, the Puerto Rico Film Festival invites the community of PUERTO RICO filmmakers to PRFF PITCH'24, as part of its INDUSTRIA PRFF'24 efforts. In this edition we seek to give exposure to fiction feature films and documentary feature films in development, in front of international and national professionals from the Industry, for feedback and the possibility of collaboration, development or co-production.
