Every year, at the beginning of July, the FIDMarseille —Festival Internacional de Cine de Marseille— offers a program of 130 films to approximately 23,500 spectators, in cinemas, theatres, libraries, art galleries and open-air amphitheaters throughout the city. The festival presents a large number of films in world premiere, as well as first films. Today, the FIDMarseille is recognized as a source of new cinemas, both documentary and fiction production.
In addition, FIDMarseille organizes
the FIDLab, a support platform for international co-production
the FIDCampus, a training workshop for Mediterranean students
and numerous external screenings throughout the year.

Electric sheep - Short film courses
FilmLAB has been a springboard for Asian talent in the Netherlands for years. CinemAsia wants to increase the visibility and representation of Dutch Asians by offering them a platform and showcasing their cinema, art and skills, while also being a role model for the next generation. At FilmLAB, Dutch people with an Asian (cultural) background have the opportunity to translate their own story to the big screen, be it documentary or fiction. FilmLAB is an accelerator for talent, FilmLAB makes it easy for creators to enter and progress in the film industry.

All submitted works must be original. In the event that the contestant uses a novel, story or text by another author as the basis for the script, the contestant must include the corresponding authorization from the author of the original work in their registration.
