Truxa Muxa is an artistic residency held in Malerreka, Navarra, aimed at projects in development or production in animation, video games, or hybrid formats. The residency supports proposals with strong creative identity, narrative innovation, cultural sensitivity, environmental commitment, and a sustainable, inclusive vision. Projects of various formats —such as short or feature films, series, games, interactive experiences, or installations— are welcome, as long as they fit within the three focus areas. Selected projects take part in online training, personalized mentorships, and an in-person residency from September 18 to 22, 2025. Although the submission deadline has passed, it is still possible to attend the event as a guest or observer.

The Ventana Sur – Animation! 2025 call is a platform for Latin American animation projects in development or pre‑production, offering opportunities to pitch to industry professionals and engage in market meetings. Submission is open from August 18 to September 15, 2025, with selected projects announced on October 30, 2025. The event takes place December 1–5, 2025 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during the Ventana Sur audiovisual market, which brings together buyers, distributors, and professionals from around the world. This call accepts animated feature films and series, including hybrid formats (live action + animation) provided at least 50 % of the content is animated. Animation! - VENTANA SUR
The IDFA Forum 2025 call for entries is open from June 2 to July 25, 2025. The forum takes place in November in Amsterdam, during the IDFA Festival. Creators can submit creative documentaries (feature-length, series, or immersive/interactive projects) in one of four categories: Forum Pitch, Rough Cut Presentations, Producers Connection, or DocLab Forum.
Projects must be in development, production, or post-production. Submissions require audiovisual material (teaser, clip, or rough cut), synopsis, financing plan, and production strategy. If pre-selected, further materials are due in August.

Ventana Sur Docs is a call dedicated exclusively to feature-length documentary films, held within the Ventana Sur Río de la Plata 2025 market in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is aimed at Latin American projects or international co-productions with a majority Latin American involvement and a clear interest in international co-production. Series and other formats are not eligible.
The call includes two main sections: Pitch, intended for documentary projects in development, and Work in Progress, aimed at projects in an advanced editing stage with an expected completion date by March 2026. Both sections are designed to connect filmmakers with producers, funders, sales agents, and international programmers.
The application period opens on August 26, 2025, and closes on September 25, 2025, with selected projects announced on October 15, 2025. Ventana Sur Docs will take place as part of the Ventana Sur market from December 1 to December 5, 2025, in Buenos Aires.
