The Chilean Film Festival (FECICH) has opened its industry section with the “Cine Chileno en Construcción” call, aimed at Chilean filmmakers with projects in post-production. The call is exclusively for national works, in fiction and documentary genres, accepting both short and feature films. Short films should range from 5 to 30 minutes, while feature films should be between 60 and 100 minutes.
FECICH’s Industry section focuses on supporting projects in development, helping them reach completion and connecting filmmakers with audiovisual companies and institutions. Selected projects can participate in the Work in Progress competition, receiving feedback and visibility opportunities.
Applications close on Monday, January 5, 2026, and the competition will take place from January 28 to 30, 2026, as part of the festival running from January 24 to 30, 2026, in Quilpué, Chile. This call represents a significant opportunity for Chilean filmmakers seeking support and exposure for their projects in the final stages of production.

Pitch Innova Formats is an international call for creators and producers with entertainment program projects such as reality shows, talent shows, factual programs, game/quiz shows, and more—projects that are disruptive and redefine the way content is created, financed, produced, presented, and consumed.
The call seeks projects that connect with audiences through innovative formulas—unique, more immersive, personalized, and interactive—engaging viewers in ways that break away from traditional models.

CONECTA - Pitch Innova Formats
The Galician Freaky Film Festival (GFFF), based in Spain, hosts an international call aimed at the development of short films within the fantastic genre. The initiative supports original projects in horror, science fiction, and other “freak”-related subgenres, specifically targeting works that are still in development and not yet produced.
The call is open to participants of any nationality, including individuals, production companies, film schools, and similar entities. Selected projects will take part in a pitching session, where they must present and defend their proposals before a professional jury during the festival.
The submission deadline is May 11, 2026, and the festival — including the pitching event — will take place from September 18 to 26, 2026.

GFFF - Freak Pitch
The call for the FICVIÑA Industry 2025 Business Table targets Latin American feature-length film projects in development, both fiction and nonfiction, with a minimum duration of 70 minutes. Projects must have a completed script and at least 20% secured financing. Films in Spanish or other languages with subtitles are accepted.
Filmmakers, producers, and creative teams from Ibero-America, especially Chile and Latin America, seeking international co-production are eligible. Selected projects will participate in business meetings with potential co-producers, distributors, and audiovisual market agents.
Applications are open until September 15, 2025, and the event will take place from November 24 to 29 in Viña del Mar, Chile. To apply, complete the form available on the festival’s official website.

FICVIÑA - Business table
Within the framework of the 11th Antofagasta/Chile International Film Festival, ANTOFACINE, the third edition of AntofaLAB, a project laboratory whose objective is to promote productions made in the northern zone of Chile (Antofagasta, Arica and Parinacota, Tarapacá, Atacama, Coquimbo), and in the bordering countries of northern Chile (Peru, Bolivia and Argentina).
