The Spanish Film Academy opens applications for its 2026 Summer Campus, a training program aimed at emerging and professional filmmakers worldwide. Applications are accepted from January 14 to February 11, 2026, and the program will take place from June 21 to July 4 in Valencia, Spain.

Summer Campus – Film Academy
The ECAM Last Push program is part of the ECAM Forum 2026 in Madrid, Spain, and is aimed at feature films in the editing or post-production phase. Applications open on December 17, 2025, and close on February 12, 2026. This section is designed to help cinematic projects reach festivals, distribution channels, and international markets by connecting filmmakers with programmers, distributors, and sales agents.
The program accepts projects from any country and of any narrative genre, including fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, or hybrid works, provided they are feature-length films over 60 minutes in post-production. During the ECAM Forum, taking place from June 9 to 12, 2026, selected projects will have the chance to showcase their work to industry professionals, receive expert feedback, and gain international visibility opportunities.

ECAM Last Push
The Work in Progress section of the Huesca International Film Festival invites short films from Ibero-American countries that are in an advanced stage of post-production. Projects should be between 5 and 20 minutes long and must not have been commercially released or screened at other festivals. Short films of all genres are accepted, including fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, fantasy, or horror.
Applications opened on January 14, 2026, and will close on February 12, 2026. Selected projects will be presented during the Work in Progress sessions at the festival, which will take place from June 5 to 13, 2026, with the short film presentations scheduled for June 11, 2026. The Pitch Guadalajara – Fantastic Genre is a call for Ibero-American feature film projects in development, with a running time over 70 minutes, focusing on horror, fantasy, and science fiction. The program aims to connect filmmakers with industry professionals through panel presentations and one-on-one meetings, fostering opportunities for funding and co-production.
