La Plata International Independent Film Festival - FestiFreak is one of the most relevant and inviting cultural event in La Plata, capital of Buenos Aires, Argentina. We settled 20 years ago with the idea of showing and giving premiere to films and authors that don't usually get in theaters and others screens well as reviewing greatest masters of cinema's filmography. La 9ª edición del Festival PIFF, tendrá lugar en la ciudad de Paraná, del 2 de septiembre, al 4 de septiembre de 2026.
La sede central del Festival de Paraná está ubicada en la siguiente dirección: Asociación Civil B. Pedro Lemebel, calle Santos Vega 1754, locales 9, 10 y 11, Galería Comercial “El Sol”. PIFF FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE DE INDEPENDIENTE PARANA, está integrado a partes iguales por el Grupo Transmedia Argentina, y el CICVE (Centro de Investigación en Cine y Video Arte Experimental), pertenecientes a la Asociación Civil "Biblioteca Pedro Lemebel". La organización del Festival de Paraná está encabezada por su director, Esteban Amatti.
El Festival de Paraná está reconocido por la “Centro Internacional de Cine y Videoarte Experimental”, dentro de la categoría “festivales de cine competitivos”.
El Festival de Paraná se propone aportar una contribución positiva al desarrollo de la cultura y de la industria cinematográfica.
Todas las películas presentadas en la 9ª edición del PIFF serán elegidas por su comité de selección, encabezado por la dirección del Festival y asesorado por una red de delegados internacionales, compuesta por una serie de profesionales, especialistas en el mundo del cine y en festivales cinematográficos. El mismo se denominará “Comité Internacional Clasificador de Películas”
Todas las películas seleccionadas en la 9ª edición recibirán un certificado de participación por parte de la dirección del Festival de Paraná.

The Various Artists independent Film Festival (VAiFF) is pleased to announce the 3rd year of our 21st century festival on the heels of our yearly festival, awards ceremony, workshops and wrap party!
This unique festival was created to provide artists with the opportunity to showcase their creativity and engage in healthy competition with their talented peers. And with the removal of the 2 year project completion stipulation on submissions - we strongly believe that a filmmaker’s passion should not be limited by an expiration date - VAiFF is perfect for filmmakers looking for that ‘big break’ and looking to take ‘one more shot’.
Highlights:
VAiFF screens all content submissions in their entirety. Once the semi-finalists (per submission quarter) have been selected, ONLY YOUR PROJECT'S TRAILER or SIZZLE REEL or (:15)s of your music video will be online for viewers to vote on. There is a 30 day voting period where members of your social media community, friends, and family will view and vote for your project.
The projects in each category with the most/positive amounts of votes will move on to the FINALE competition.
After the FALL quarter, the process continues with the WINTER, SPRING and SUMMER quarters. The nominees from these quarters will compete in the FINALE COMPETITION.
In October of 2020, all the semi-finalists’ films will be screened at the Various Artists independent Film Festival Competition and Awards Ceremony, which will again be held in Chicago, IL.
Filmmakers, industry leaders, and film lovers will enjoy a weekend full of films, networking, Q&A sessions, seminars and a fun-filled wrap party to make this an event people will not want to miss.
Producers securing quarterly nominations will receive prizes, and at the LIVE event, the top 9 winning films will be presented with a VAiFF PERSONALIZED CRYSTAL AWARD along with other perks.
La Asociación cultural sin ánimos de lucro ACCIONS 3E, convoca y organiza el 29º SUNCINE Festival Internacional de Cine del Medio Ambiente, que se celebrará del 2 al 10 de noviembre de 2023.
SUNCINE, antes conocido por las siglas FICMA, nació en 1993 y se posiciona como el Festival de Cine del Medio Ambiente más antiguo del mundo y de referencia en su género.
SUNCINE es un Festival multipantalla (presencial, online y televisión) que tiene como principal objetivo promover, difundir y divulgar el audiovisual ambiental para concienciar y sensibilizar sobre el estado del medio ambiente, la biodiversidad y la sostenibilidad del planeta.
FRONTERA SUR, Festival Internacional de Cine de No Ficción es un evento no competitivo, que exhibe un conjunto de obras cinematográficas, nacionales, latinoamericanas e internacionales, vinculadas al concepto de No Ficción.
La séptima edición del Festival FRONTERA SUR se realizará del 26 al 30 de mayo de 2026, en la ciudad de Concepción, Región del Biobío, sur de Chile.
La Muestra Internacional Documental de Bogotá (MIDBO), organizada por la Corporación Colombiana de Documentalistas ALADOS, es un evento especializado en el cine de lo real que a lo largo de los últimos 26 años se ha consolidado en Colombia y América Latina como un espacio fundamental de exhibición, diálogo y pensamiento alrededor del audiovisual de no ficción.
Para la 27ª edición de la MIDBO, invitamos a realizadores/as y productores/as a inscribir sus obras audiovisuales en la convocatoria de películas 2025, y a participar en los diferentes espacios de formación y discusión que se llevarán a cabo de manera virtual y presencial en el transcurso de la muestra.
Este año La 27ª edición de la MIDBO se llevará a cabo del 29 de octubre al 7 de noviembre en Bogotá, Colombia. Realizando itinerancias en distintas regiones del país a lo largo del año y manteniendo nuestra franja Martes MIDBO-ALADOS en diferentes salas aliadas.
Después de 26 ediciones la MIDBO continúa trabajando para realizar un evento que cree y confía en la reflexión en torno al documental, a las formas en las que nos acercamos a la realidad, siendo las múltiples maneras de registrar el mundo nuestro principal interés. Comprometidos con la intención de desentramar la complejidad de una realidad que nos excede, continuamos construyendo cada año el espacio idóneo para reunirnos y pensar el quehacer documental.
Para el 2025 mantenemos nuestro interés en fomentar la creación y reconocer el esfuerzo de realizadores/ras por lo que ofreceremos dos secciones competitivas, una de largometrajes iberoamericanos y otra de cortometrajes nacionales, en las que otorgamos el premio a Mejor largometraje Documental Iberoamericano, para películas de más de 60 minutos de duración realizadas en Iberoamérica, y el premio a Mejor cortometraje Documental nacional para películas de más de no más de 30 minutos de duración realizadas en Colombia o por un colombiano. El jurado de cada competencia será anunciado un mes antes de la realización de la muestra y estará compuesto por tres (3) artistas, cineastas, escritores, críticos o gestores culturales.

La calzada romana VIA XIV ha cruzado el valle de Monterrey durante 2000 años. Hoy en día las calzadas y vías férreas, algunas construidas sobre las antiguas calzadas romanas, y otras que discurren paralelas y a poca distancia, nos dan una idea de su importancia y vigencia.
Durante todo este tiempo han sido un camino de nuevas ideas, progreso y cultura. El festival de cortometrajes de Verín quiere continuar este camino de la cultura, acercando la mirada de creadores de todo el mundo en torno al carnaval, la emigración y la frontera.

DESCRIPCIÓN
Colombia se convierte en escenario para conversar sobre las actuales problemáticas ambientales. Para ello, Planet On propone entablar un diálogo entre cineastas, ciencia, industria y público a través de obras cinematográficas, concurso de cortos que busca ser ese espacio necesario donde las personas puedan narrar, desde su perspectiva, los diferentes retos ambientales a los que como humanidad nos enfrentamos.
Planet On busca encontrar las mejores historias sobre comercio ilegal de especies y la protección de la fauna en América Latina, así como cualquier otra problemática ambiental que los participantes quieran abordar.
La IX edición del festival Internacional de Cine Ambiental, Planet On será el lugar idóneo donde nos reuniremos a reflexionar sobre el impacto que estos problemas tienen en nuestras vidas y por su puesto para celebrar los mejores trabajos audiovisuales.
El Festival consideran a la creatividad y la libre expresión de los artistas, como elementos fundamentales para entender la realidad. Es por esta razón que Planet On tendrá como condiciones para las obras participantes en las diferentes categorías, la pertinencia, calidad y relevancia tanto ambiental como cinematográfica.
La convocatoria estará abierta para cortometrajes y largometrajes nacionales e internacionales.

The Sacramento Film and Music Festival's mission is the celebrate and showcase the best in filmmaking from around the world and to be the leading sponsor and facilitator of the art of film in California's Capital region. In our 20th year we will be actively looking for material that has been produced in the Sacramento region.
The Sacramento Film and Music Festival is the longest running non-genre-specific festival in the Sacramento region and, as such, has played host to local, national and international filmmakers, from first-time writer/directors to working industry professionals to veteran Hollywood producers.
Each year we select movies in all genres, lengths and formats, from all around the world, and the Festival enjoys an extraordinary track record of picking those that go on to win major awards and/or achieve distribution beyond the festival circuit. Furthermore, we actively pursue those business and creative opportunities for our filmmakers with our industry partners and sponsors.
We pride ourselves as an established member of the California arts community and as a premiere showcase for the best of the best in worldwide film arts and were thrilled to be voted Best Film Festival in Sacramento by the readers of the Sacramento News & Review! We are also a repeat recipient of financial support from the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission, as part of a competitive grant program, in recognition of our pro-active approach to arts promotion.
We also complement our many days of exclusive film screenings with a single evening of live music, interspersed with music videos that we commission each year as part of a much-heralded and pioneering program, Sac Music Seen, that matches local talents in music and film-making. Over the past ten seasons, we have produced over 200 music videos and we also accept and respect the music video format in our regular submission pool.
It is of vital importance that we recognize the new generation of filmmakers and our Student Days program regularly features works by students from such leading film schools as NYU, USC, UCLA, AFI, and Chapman - but we also look for high quality films from unaffiliated and high school students.
As a member of the Sacramento Alliance of Film Festivals, the Festival works with our genre festival partners (Sacramento's Jewish, French, Gay and Lesbian, and Black film festivals) and we will pass on especially noteworthy submissions if we are not able to screen them ourselves and if they seem well suited to one of our partners. We happily screen in all genres ourselves, however we simply cannot accommodate every movie we are sent, regardless of how exceptional they might be. The Alliance allows us to share our success and pass on the added value of referrals to our contributing filmmakers, when appropriate, and without additional submission costs. Additionally, we consider "off-season" films for our occasional Gold Circle screening series throughout the year.
The Festival also partners in collaborative projects with the Capital Film Arts Alliance (formerly the Sacramento Film Group), another noteworthy winner of local Arts Council funding, and the oldest uniquely dedicated networking group of filmmakers in the Capital region.
We have been fortunate over the years to receive great attention from the press and it is our pleasure to work to promote the work of our filmmakers in advance of each year's Festival. There are some advantages to being the senior all-genre festival in the area and we are extremely grateful to our partners and supporters.
Rolling Reels Short-Film Festival(RRFF) is a non-profit, student-run organization established in 2015. Presented by Festember, the biggest cultural festival of South-India, RRFF is a one-day cinematic spectacle for budding filmmakers.
The aim of this venture is to establish a platform for young filmmakers to interact and learn from the veterans in this field. The participants would be given a time period of about 3 months to send in their entries after which thee movies would be filtered first by a preliminary panel of judges. The shortlisted movies are then screened on the day of the Festival. These are judged by a lineup of A-list jury comprising of maestros of the film industry.
Aside from the event, RRFF also hosts an extravagant workshop and a panel discussion on a topic that concerns our industry.
The mission of the festival is to showcase the works of artists experimenting in video and new media inside the European creative hubs network, favouring the cooperation and the international circulation of talents. Key objectives of the festival are the exploration of new visual languages and allows cultural contamination between various countries.
VISION.
The vision of the festival is to create an European network of Artists and Professional Creatives who shares experiences, knowledge and artistic productions during the days of the event. The physical foundation of this Vision is the urban regeneration process: the chosen location is the Bastione Sangallo, an historical monument in Fano, that has been brought to new life thanks to cultural association that place here cultural and entertainment events.

FesticineKids 27 es un festival internacional de cine infantil y juvenil en Cartagena de Indias, es un certamen cinematográfico que orienta sus esfuerzos hacia el fortalecimiento de la realización y distribución de cine colombiano, latinoamericano y del mundo para niños y jóvenes.
En el 2025, FesticineKids llega a su edición número 27 de manera presencialmente con el mismo ánimo de resaltar y celebrar al cine para niñas, niños y jóvenes. Se ha elegido como eslogan la frase: NUESTROS VALORES KIDS. Siempre se pretende invitar a los niños y jóvenes a ser conscientes de la responsabilidad que tienen al ser agentes de proteccion en sus entornos. Los niños y jóvenes son el futuro que debe incentivar al cuidado de nuestro planeta tierra, de los seres humanos que les rodean, los animales y las plantas, así como de los lugares que visitan. La tendencia hacia las peliculas que muestren valores humanos.
En la construcción del perfil del FesticineKids 27, se problematiza a la pantalla como punto de confluencia de niñas, niños y adolescentes. Al postular al cine como ese escenario en el que se exteriorizan sentimientos, emociones y creencias, se pretende que las niñas, niños y adolescentes, entendiendo lo que el cine les evoca, lo que extraen de él y sus significaciones, se pregunten sobre el lugar que el cine tiene en sus vidas, en su entorno, en paralelo al lugar que quieren y sueñan.
También es una oportunidad para que los adultos, padres de familia, docentes autoridades culturales y cinematográficas piensen sobre la necesidad de fortalecer sus capacidades de ser formadores en tensión e interacción con los medios audiovisuales de comunicación, especialmente el cine.
Somos el único festival de animación de España dirigido a nuevos talentos internacionales, con programa de competición de cortometrajes de estudiantes y óperas primas. Somos un colectivo sin ánimo de lucro formado por profesores y estudiantes.
El festival es escaparate de las últimas novedades de la animación para estudiantes y profesionales de la animación.
Festival realizado por y para niños y jóvenes
Creado en el año 2002, el Festival de cortometrajes realizados por y para niños y jóvenes “Hacelo Corto”, ha fundado un espacio privilegiado para disfrutar de las producciones de niños y jóvenes en formatos de ficción, documental y animación.
A través de este Festival se subraya la preciada relación entre educación y cultura. La posibilidad de aprender a filmar y filmar aprendiendo, la oportunidad de ser a la vez público y productores, de ver en el cine sus cortometrajes y compartir con la sociedad estas valiosas experiencias educativas.
El objetivo es abrir la inscripción a productores y realizadores de cortometrajes dirigidos a niños y jóvenes que deseen participar del evento y tener la posibilidad de ser evaluados y premiados por un jurado infantil y juvenil.
