O Festival de Cinema da Baía de Carmarthen passou de força em força ao longo dos anos. Desde o nosso primeiro festival em 2012, passámos de 35 inscrições para mais de 750 de 60 países diferentes para o nosso festival 2019. Não só as inscrições aumentaram ao longo dos anos, mas também o número de cineastas e patronos do festival.
Tivemos cineastas voando dos EUA, Austrália, Holanda, Itália, França e muitas partes do Reino Unido. O número de parceiros do festival também cresceu com o Stradey Park Hotel, BAFTA Cymru, RTS Wales, University of Wales Trinity St. David, Felin Foel Brewery, Carmarthen Cameras e muitos mais. O festival é agora uma qualificação BAFTA Cymru/País de Gales, o que significa que qualquer filme exibido durante o festival e feito aqui no País de Gales é elegível para ser considerado para um prêmio BAFTA Cymru.
Nosso 8º festival teve algumas mudanças significativas, nos últimos sete anos, o festival foi realizado no Hotel Stradey Park aqui em Llanelli. Então, com o apoio total do Stradey Park, sentimos que era hora de seguir em frente e tentar algo novo. Assim, para 2019, o CBFF foi realizado em um dos principais teatros de Wales no centro de Llanelli, o que trouxe uma nova e excitante dinâmica e sensação para o festival.

Com o Prêmio John Hefin por realização vitalícia em cinema, televisão ou teatro. E estamos encantados por John Morgan da JM Creative ter aceitado este prêmio durante a nossa gala de prêmios de 2019.
Por favor, leia a breve biografia sobre John abaixo.
John Hefin se envolveu em trabalhos de televisão em 1960, quando respondeu a um anúncio de jornal para aprendizes assistentes de produção. Durante a década de 1960, ele trabalhou como produtor e diretor para a BBC Wales. Em 1974, ele ajudou a criar a novela em língua galesa Pobol y Cwm, a novela de televisão mais longa produzida pela BBC. Ele também co-escreveu e dirigiu o filme de comédia de rugby de 1978 Grand Slam, e dirigiu a série dramática de 1981 The Life and Times of David Lloyd George. Esta série de nove partes, uma biópsia baseada no PM galês, baseou-se em conversas com Lady Olwen, sua filha mais velha, e AJ Sylvester, sua secretária. Em 1984, John foi o diretor para a narração de uma versão animada da história infantil do príncipe Charles O Velho de Lochnagar.
Após seu cargo como Chefe de Drama na BBC Wales, trabalhou no Departamento de Estudos de Teatro, Cinema e Televisão na Universidade Aberystwyth. Em 1988, tornou-se diretor artístico do Film Cymru (que mais tarde foi renomeado para Wales Film Council), encarregado da responsabilidade de comissionar filmes de produtores independentes galeses usando fundos S4C. Ele também foi presidente da Comissão de Cinema do País de Gales, e presidente da Cyfrwng, uma revista de mídia galesa, e rede. Ele se aposentou da BBC em 1993. Fajr International Festivals (little: FIFF; Persian: جشنواره فجر) are Iranian annual festivals, held every year in Tehran, Iran. Annual Festivals for Film, Music, Theater, Visual Arts, Poetry etc. The festivals, started in 1982, is under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Iran. It takes place every year on the anniversary of the Iranian revolution. The festivals has been promoted both locally and abroad through television, radio and webinars with previous speakers coming from countries all around the world.
The 8th Fajr Fashion Festival will be held at the Goftogoo Park in Tehran Febraury 14th till 17th. The festival will showcase some one the best and latest models and designs of the Islamic fashion.
Now this year at the Fajr Fashion Festival, We are representing a new competition category. The competition will accept Short Films (Fictions, Documentaries),Commercials and everything that is fashion related.
Habitat Photosphere is a biennial photofestival that combines the themes of Photography and Cultural Sustainability. The Sustainable Development Film Festival is part of Photosphere's efforts to encourage people to create art, photographs, films and other creative content to promote sustainable develpoment.
*Main Focus of the festival is on the five counties around the Caspian Sea*

INDEPENDENT AREA CINEMA is the first Neapolitan film club dedicated exclusively to Italian and foreign NO / Low Budget films. From October 2018 will screen every Tuesday and Wednesday independent films from all over the world. Along with the screenings, the films will take part in a final festival with awards in April 2019.
And they will all be included in the cinema programming anyway.
The International Festival of the Mediterranean Cinema of Tetouan holds its 25rd edition from March 23th to 30th, 2019 in Tetouan, Morocco.
Artistic and cultural event, the festival is pursuing the following aims:
• To promote the knowledge and the distribution of the cinematographic productions of the two shores of the Mediterranean.
• To encourage and to promote the exchanges between the Mediterranean filmmakers.
Important note on COVID-19: None of the Indie Short Fest live events will be cancelled. Although are currently postponed, all of the screenings and Q&As will be scheduled for the first safe opportunity, even if they have to be merged in large events. Until then, ISF-LA has also optional streaming opportunities for who wants to join, namely VOD or monthly subscription via our TV channel.
This means that our event dates designate, at this temporary stage, the day for the announcement of the award winners of each season. The respective live events will take place as soon as possible.

IMDb qualifier Indie Short Fest (ISF-LA) is an LA-based international film competition with red carpet live screenings and Q&A at the Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA, every two months.
ISF-LA is looking for independent projects from all genres, particularly low or no-budget ones, as well as from all countries, especially from those traditionally underrepresented in the global film industry.
Each round, all submitted projects are featured in ISF-LA site and social media (with the publication of synopsis, stills and a trailer/teaser) as part of a general promotional action of indie production. Submitter has the option of decline any public highlight, as long as notified ISF-LA, keeping however his project(s) under consideration. These projects are judged by a random team of invited experts from academia and film industry from Los Angeles area, against a high standard of merit. From the pool of official selection, which has a very competitive acceptance rate, ISF-LA chose the nominees and award winners of the season. All of them can add their projects to IMDb. Some of the award-winning projects, selected by the programmers of ISF-LA, are publicly screened in Los Angeles at the end of each round.

Every submission can add numerous additional judging categories increasing the chance to become a multi-award-winning. In these cases, the name(s) to be credited should be included in the submission.
Notice that any entry is judged only according to the nature of the submitted category or categories. After the preliminary evaluation, ISF-LA can email the submitter with recommendations to other categories in which the entry can be more suitable to and have more chances to be a good competitor. Still, the decision to submit to other categories, and the payment of the associated fees, belong exclusively to the submitter and does not guarantee any award or the official selection.

INFANCINEMARÍN, organized by the CULTURAL ASSOCIATION BIG AJAJAI with the collaboration of the COLEGIO SAN NARCISO DE MARÍN and the EXCMO. CONCELLO DE MARÍN, arises with the idea of bringing the smallest and youngest audiovisual works that talk about the subjects that interest them, with an accessible language but not for it less artistic, making them discover new ways of telling histories.
The Festival, which will take place from 5 to 7 April in Marín (Pontevedra - Spain).
60Seconds is a Copenhagen-based film festival projecting selected short films in the urban space since 2006, and transforming the streets into URBAN cinemas. The films must be about this years theme, just one minute long and with no sound or credits in it- we will ad the credits in the last editing.

O Master of Art Film Festival é um evento cultural único e o único festival internacional de cinema da Europa Oriental para documentários sobre arte. Acontece na Bulgária — Sofia, Plovdiv e Varna.
O festival se concentra em diferentes abordagens artísticas da arte.
Seu programa é dedicado ao cinema documental que representa a visão artística tanto da história da arte quanto das formas de arte contemporânea e para celebrar a diversidade multicultural em nosso tempo.
Nosso objetivo é mostrar documentários que manifestem os talentos e o processo criativo nas seguintes categorias: Arquitetura, Design e Moda, Arte e Poder, Arte Contemporânea, Arte Culinária, Belas Artes, Fotografia, Literatura, Música e Dança, Teatro e Cinema.
Documentários lançados após 1º de janeiro de 2025 são elegíveis para a competição do Master of Art Film Festival.
A missão do Master of Art Film Festival é criar uma plataforma alternativa para a cultura de massa. Queremos criar uma oportunidade e contribuir com o diálogo e a cooperação entre artistas. O festival é o maior fórum da Europa Oriental para jovens documentaristas, tentados a contar histórias inspiradoras sobre a arte.

Out of all of the films we have watched and received, we will nominate a winner and offer a $100 cash prize. Winner will be announced in December 2018.

Cine Kurumin é um festival de cinema indigena realizado no Brasil.
Bem-vindo ao FirstCut, um dos principais festivais internacionais de cinema estudantil da Índia, organizado pela FLAME University, Pune.
O FirstCut fornece uma plataforma dinâmica para jovens cineastas em todo o mundo, incentivando-os a explorar o cinema como um meio de crescimento e mudança.
Em 2025, o FirstCut Take 11 recebeu mais de 565 inscrições de estudantes representando mais de 55 países.
No evento final, os filmes pré-selecionados serão exibidos para uma audiência ao vivo e avaliados por um júri distinto da indústria cinematográfica indiana. As exibições serão seguidas por painéis de discussão envolventes e palestras com personalidades renomadas do cinema.
Acreditamos que a liberdade criativa é essencial, e é por isso que os participantes têm total liberdade na escolha de seus temas e estilos.
