Il Festival «Golden Snail» è un festival mondiale di film d'animazione per bambini che si svolge nel mese di settembre 2025 a Vranje, in Serbia. «Golden Snail» riunisce giovani registi da tutto il mondo. Qualsiasi studio, club o scuola che lavori con i bambini nel campo dell'animazione cinematografica è benvenuto al nostro festival. I film devono essere realizzati DA BAMBINI, non da professionisti per bambini.

Now in its 7th year, Damnationland is an invitational Maine-based short genre fest. We work hard to feature the best filmmakers and films from Maine. Our premiere event draws over 800 excited film fans to the beautiful State Theater in Portland every year in early October. The program then tours all over Maine before moving on to festivals and other screenings around the world. Last year, we screened from Ohio to Singapore, with a couple stops between.
This year, we are adding an international film competition to our annual get-down. In 2017, Damnationland will be featuring independent films from across the world for the first time. No longer contained to the borders of Maine, Damnationland is now opening up a few precious slots to filmmakers from around the world.
The highlight of the program will still be the premiere of 7 Maine-made dark genre pieces at the State Theatre. It's a huge event, with over 800 film viewers lining up last year to see Maine's best. But this year we will be supplementing the Maine shorts with additional screenings. All weekend, we hope to show the best dark genre work from around the world.
We want to show filmmakers outside of the state what Maine can do, and expose their films to our own rabid Damnationland audience.
So send us your dark genre films! We are looking for things that are dark, scary, disturbing, seedy, or just downright weird. Take a look at the archive on our website to see what sort of films we feature.
We can promise you great crowds for your screenings and a great time in one of the best small cities in the country. Winners will also receive a travel stipend to attend the festival here in Maine in mid-October. Our primary goal is to get you here. You show us your film, and the we can show you ours!

MISSIONE & OBIETTIVO
F3: Francamente Film Fest è un festival che abbraccia la diversità nel cinema, dando una vetrina a film che potrebbero non adattarsi allo stampo tipico del festival cinematografico. Cerchiamo di dare uno sbocco agli sperimentali, ai fan film, ai progetti cinematografici di 48 ore, ai film studenteschi, ai film che potrebbero non avere un lieto fine, ai film che sfideranno il pubblico a pensare e sentire.
A proposito del FESTIVAL
Fondato nel 2004 da Frankly Zoe Productions come un festival unico volto a promuovere il loro programma Youth Summer Movie, F3: Francamente Film Fest ha proiettato 27 film durante il festival 2005. Nel 2016 Francamente Zoe Productions ha deciso di resuscitare F3 in concomitanza con il decimo anniversario di Un-Con, una convenzione non convenzionale in cui tutti i generi di fandom sono benvenuti e accettati. In linea con il tema «tutti i generi sono benvenuti» dell'Un-Con, F3 è un festival di tutti i generi.
Il F3: Francamente Film Fest 2016 ha ricevuto 685 iscrizioni provenienti da 39 paesi diversi. Di questi 685 film, 50 sono stati scelti per essere proiettati durante il weekend. Sono stati assegnati premi per «Miglior Corto», «Miglior Film», «Miglior Film Studente» e «Best of Fest».
Per il festival 2017 F3 è diventato un festival solo cortometraggi. Il festival ha ricevuto 499 iscrizioni da 41 paesi diversi. Sono stati assegnati premi per «Best Student Short», «Best Non-Student Short», «Best of Fest», «Judges Choice» e «The Steve Turner Award».
Per il festival 2018 sono state ricevute 401 candidature da 40 paesi. Quaranta film sono stati proiettati al nostro festival. Per essere onesti

The Lake Champlain International Film Festival (LCIFF) turns the spotlight on new films and filmmakers working in any and all genres and forms of film. Good, old-fashioned entertainment and cutting-edge artistry will be showcased in equal measure. Set in Plattsburgh, nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks, LCIFF takes place in November along the banks of Lake Champlain.
The screenings will take place at the Strand Theatre, a landmark of cultural and historical importance. Located in the heart of downtown Plattsburgh, the Strand was originally built as a Vaudeville Theatre in 1924 and is currently on the National Registry of Historic Places. Art Non Stop Festival, è il Festival Internazionale del Cinema e dell'Arte nato a Buenos Aires, in Argentina, che si svolge dal 26 al 28 ottobre. Organizzato dal produttore Arte Non Stop, unisce cinema, pittura e scultura sotto l'esclusivo tema del cinema.

ReAnimania International Animation Film Festival di Yerevan è stata fondata dal fumettista, pittore e animatore Vrej Kassouny nel 2008.
La storia dell'Armenia nell'animazione era iniziata 70 anni prima, con l'uscita del primo film armeno, Lev Atamanov (né Levon Atamanyan) Il cane e il gatto nel 1938.
Nel tentativo di onorare il mestiere sia nello spirito che nel nome, il Festival ha reintrodotto l'arte del cinema d'animazione al pubblico armeno.

A judged film festival described as "Sundance with Fangs" by Newsday Long Island. We provide a venue for showcasing your films within a celebratory & respectful environment, where fans can enjoy the independent films entered by those of you who passionately craft your Strange-ifical, Weird-ifical, Horror-ifical, Sci-fi-tastical, Fantastical and Macabre-licious films. The opportunity to win awards, increase film visibility via press and possibly obtain distribution is always part of the equation with the Macabre Faire Film Festival.
For starters the word "Macabre" is pronounced: Ma-Cob. The "re" is hardly ever heard. What does it mean?
Although it is an adjective meaning: disturbing and horrifying because of involvement with or depiction of death and injury, WE ARE NOT SOLELY A HORROR FILM FESTIVAL but instead a whole lot more than that. We usually approach the Macabre Faire Film Festival with a lighter touch in the sense that, not all of the films screened are horror and instead many may simply be considered a bit on the darker side. Of course, we will add some horror to this festival but, when we hear the word "Macabre" we remember those hauntingly fascinating films that starred legendary greats such as:
Vincent Price & Peter Cushing or those fantastic Gothic horrors like the "Hammer" films. These names in themselves represent what "macabre" means to us. What we are saying is that the word "Macabre" DOES NOT mean we only accept HORROR films but instead that we welcome those films that can tap into our fears through what you don't see or hear. A dark drama, mystery, suspense, thriller or dark comedy can do a lovely job making us feel uncomfortable in the dark. So folks, this is what many of the films selected for the Macabre Faire Film Festival offer. A buffet for any pallet. About the only thing we may have to say "No Thanks" to would be a romantic comedy/drama... unless, there's a monster under the bed during love making or other dark element.
All submitted films are pre-screened by select judges that includes Eileen Dietz, our Festival Ambassador, of the original "The Exorcist" film to ensure the films have followed guidelines and are an overall fit for the festival. Then the films are passed on to another set of judges consisting of more filmmakers, film critics, genre film fans and or seasoned actors to choose the Official Selections. Once these selections have been identified there is an additional judging process in collaboration with the original pre-screening judges to identify the different category nominees. Once you have been notified we insist on having the film festival entry form filled out and submitted back to the festival via email or snail mail within 4 weeks of acceptance. This form can be found on our website or it has been emailed to you as an attachment with your initial welcoming email.
URGENT NOTE: IF THERE IS NO CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN THE FESTIVAL AND INDIVIDUAL WHO SUBMITTED THE ACCEPTED FILM WITHIN 4 WEEKS FROM INITIAL ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION, WHICH ALL FILMMAKERS RECEIVE FROM FESTHOME BY DEADLINE DATE, YOUR FILM WILL NO LONGER BE AN OFFICIAL SELECTION IN THE MACABRE FAIRE FILM FESTIVAL. So we urge everyone to check their spam folders at all times and or ensure to make contact with the festival within 4 weeks of the acceptance notification. Failure to do so will exclude your film from the festival. Please take the time to ACTUALLY READ all the pages of the submission form which contains mailing address information (if needed) and other very important details which includes getting your discs or film posters sent to the festival in a timely fashion. This does not mean mailing materials in 2 weeks before the event as they will not be accepted.
Moving on...
January's festival always falls on Martin Luther King Jr weekend for easy remembering. This 4 day event start with Thursday and Friday being solely screening days with minimal panels within 3 screening rooms. The festival continues for another 2 days with Saturday screenings starting at 12pm into midnight within 4-5 screening rooms and an intimately sized vendor room with additional panels available for guests. Saturday evening is capped with an elaborate Red Carpet Gala Award Ceremony that offers a glamorous atmosphere filled with Press, Photos, Entertainment, Dinner and Awards! This is NOT to be missed.
Sunday captures the conversations from the night prior winners and more. A perfect day to catch those shorts you may have missed as it usually hosts an encore segment for short films from 12pm until 6pm. Be sure to visit the vendor room before the day is over and sit in on another panel or other special treat before it all ends until the following year.

Women in Focus emerged in 2009 with the aim of encouraging the promotion and protection of women's rights through film, through the dissemination of films that allow give visibility to the violation of their rights and encourage debate.
