Alte Visioni│Erto Film Festival

Erto e Casso, Italy

Among the peaks that stand out against the sky and the deep silence of the valleys that preserve ancient stories, “Alte Visioni│Erto Film Festival” is born. It 's not just a film festival but a bridge of light and images thrown between the past and the future, between the memory and resilience of a territory unique in the world: Erto and Casso.

The purpose is twofold and deeply rooted in this land.

First, to honor the memory and learn from it. Erto and Casso are places that bear the scars of Vajont, an eternal reminder of the fragile balance between man and the environment. However, the mountains have also been the scene of epic historical events—think of the trenches of the First and Second World Wars or the transit routes and natural fortresses that have shaped entire civilizations and conflicts. With our awards and screenings, we want to create a space for deep reflection, where memory is not just a recollection but becomes a tool for awareness. We want cinema to help us explore the lessons of the past, understand the complexities of human choices, and promote an ethic of responsibility towards our planet and future generations. Every image projected will be a tribute to those who are no longer with us and an invitation to build a better tomorrow.

Secondly, to celebrate resilience, rebirth, and mountain life, which is not only a memory of tragedies. It is also living testimony to the unstoppable force of nature and the tenacity of the human spirit. Like some trees in the Bosco Vecchio forest, which were able to take root again after the landslide and whose branches have become new life, our community has been able to get back on its feet and look ahead. The festival aims to highlht this capacity for rebirth, the wild and untamed beauty of our mountains, the culture that animates them, and the new perspectives that are opening up. We want cinema to be a tool for telling stories of hope, adaptation, sustainability, and the deep connection between humans and the nature that surrounds them.

This festival is aimed at professional and amateur filmmakers aged 16 and over.

We aim to bring to life, support, and share humor, genre films, as well as feminist, inclusive, and queer values, in Brittany through cinema.

A "ciné frip" (a French cinema) has been launched at the Ti Hanok cinema to support local filmmakers.
A jury composed of two high school classes will vote for the films they want to see in competition for the young film buffs' list.

A jury composed of several members of our respective associations "A l'assaut des rues" and "les artisans filmeurs," as well as a member of the Ti Hanok cinema, will select the adult films that will be part of the program and finals in March 2026.

The goal of our festival is to showcase amateur filmmakers and provide them with opportunities for valuable networking. That's why we organize an annual jury masterclass and a podcast about the professional film industry. But beyond the competition, we also organize interactive activities related to cinema and local film associations, allowing young audiences to discover the world of film.

WITA - WILDCAT INTERNATIONAL TALENT AWARD

Roma, Italy

WITA, Wildcat International Talent Award, is an international online film festival dedicated to Independent cinema, based in Rome, Italy.
Our mission is to recognize, enhance and give visibility to the true talents of independent cinema that, like the Wildcat, a wonderful protected species in danger of extinction, risk not being rightly appreciated in the international independent scene and therefore not being considered.

Our goal is to reward all the artistic figures who contribute to the making of a film: directors, screenwriters, actresses and actors, authors of photography, music, editing and scenography, because only thanks to the work of everyone can a good film be made. In special cases, the award reserves the possibility of awarding further recognition.

The jury is composed of experts in the sector and the works will be evaluated based on criteria such as originality, technical quality, experimentation and artistic value.

On an annual basis, the Festival selects the finalists of each category by promoting the trailers of their works and related video interviews on all social channels and on the festival website. The winners will be announced within 60 days of the official announcement of all the finalists. The times and methods of awarding will be communicated on the festival channels and via email to participants.

Tropheum Regale International Film Festival is an annual film festival and it gets its name from the city of Trofarello in which it is based. It is said that Trofarello in Celtic means “trophy”, probably in honour of a warrior of some success.

For many years now, we are in the film industry and understand the defies each filmmaker face when trying to realize their projects. The costs and efforts required can be prohibitive, so our festival aims to support independent filmmaking.

Each year our jury of professionals will make a private viewing to decide the winners of each category. The judgment is based on the artistic merit, creative contribution and technical level of each entry. The results will be published on our website and on our social media profiles.
