In only three editions Il Varco International Short Film Festival has already gained the reputation of being one of the most interesting and artistically challenging festivals in Italy for films from all around the world, screening together an authorial selection that is a mixture of independent films, low budget productions, first films and great masterpieces.
In only three years our festival and its parallel screening "Short Days" have received more than 4900 films from 106+ countries, made 14 screenings around Italy with more than 1300 paying spectators screening the best short films from all around the world and giving directors the possibility to interact with a public of film students, film critics, directors, cinephiles and moviegoers.
Screenings take place in the biggest cinema of Abruzzi, on a 30 meters screen with DCP 2K projectors at maximum quality with 7.1 audio. Our staff prepares the DCP masters with double ita/eng subs for free for all the selected films, and you can keep it later.
ASSERTING WOMEN'S RIGHTS is a project that has emerged from Festival de Málaga, Mabel Lozano (documentary filmmaker and collaborator of the Festival), and the Equal Opportunities Area of Malaga City Council as a protest tool. This section is created with the aim of exploring and dealing with issues that contribute to social awareness of women's rights each year.
This section of Festival de Málaga was born in 2008, this being its 18th edition. The project is conceived with a double purpose: to inform about the injustices that women still suffer in this century for the mere fact of being women, and to encourage and support the cinematographic work created by women.
The European Fantastic Film Festival of Murcia SOMBRA is a project that aims to spread and serve as a reference to fantasy films produced in Europe, as well as support European, national and regional production of gender.
The FESTBOI was born in 2017 in the town of Sant Boi de Llobregat as a sample of the local audiovisual product.
Initially, it was only a short film competition made in 72 hours within the margin of the Sant Boi festival, but currently the festival has a competitive section, of international scope.
In this fifth edition, the festival is a space where you can not only see the best short films of each year, but also a meeting place for directors, audiences and film students.

FESTIVAL ENTRE DEUX... CANNES
We accept films, that deal with themes of disability or Deaf culture, or about people who identify as 'disabled', 'people with a disability', or use terms like 'handicapped', 'functional diversity', or -abled'. We also welcome Deaf and neurodiverse people who do not identify with or use these terms.'
All the films need to be SUBTITLED IN FRENCH IN WHITE COLOR and in second line in English with orange color for them to be accepted on competition.
Our jury and the board of organisation is composed by valid and handicap persons.
The festival screens narrative and documentary feature and short films, music videos, as well as experimental and animation films, in competitive and non-competitive sections. This event is complemented with repertoire and special screenings. The 22nd Cine Las Americas International Film Festival (CLAIFF22) took place May 1st to 5th, 2019 in Austin, Texas. In addition to welcoming over 3,000 audience members for films and special events, CLAIFF22 screened 114 titles; these selections represented 25 countries’ participation in the production or co-production of the projects, including Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Jordan, Mexico, The Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Qatar, Spain, Syrian Arab Republic, UK, Uruguay, USA, and Venezuela.
Over the past 22 years, Cine Las Americas has presented more than 2,600 films in Austin and at various screenings across the state of Texas, becoming one of the most prestigious of Latino film organizations in the country. Cine Las Americas remains a community-oriented organization, offering diverse opportunities for culture, education, professional development and entertainment. Each year the film festival brings a wide range of international films and filmmakers to Austin, creates networking opportunities for industry professionals, and provides a rich cultural experience for attendees.
PEEPHOLE filmfest is aimed to showcase and recognize the talent of all the artists that make us think and feel different, artists that nourish our imagination with the allure of their films.
Freaky, hot, exciting, seductive, frightening, accelerating, nude, strange, raw, unique. We want films that characterizes by any of these adjectives.

The PEEPHOLE filmfest VOL.3 will be held in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. October 29 to November.
We will exhibit selected films at LARVA theater, with 250 seats, and will have fun activities like horror comic/art exhibitions, horror gaming presentations and the "Day of the death" parade passing right in front of the venue.
The Arctic International Film Festival "Golden Raven" is being held annually on the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Region and is the professional competitive screening of cinematic works from around the world. The dates of the festival are agreed annually.
The 9th Arctic International Film Festival "Golden Raven" will take place from April 07 to April 20,2025.
The festival sets its goals and objectives as following:
• search and promotion of the best modern films related to the Arctic and reflecting various aspects of life in this region;
• attracting the attention of the public and professional community to the topics relevant to the Arctic including ecology, interethnic relations, the continuity of generations, the preservation of traditions and culture, etc.;
• creation of a communication channel and strengthening of cooperation between Russia and the world community through the territories and cultural space of the Far North of the Russian Federation;
• popularization of event and ecological tourism on the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Region;
• creation and development of a comfortable environment for residents of the Chukotka Autonomous Region;
• development of the film production infrastructure, as well as promotion of the Chukotka Autonomous Region as an attractive and comfortable location for filmmaking;
• search and support of young talented filmmakers creating films in the Arctic region;
• preservation and popularization of the cultural heritage of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East.
The Festival is being held by the Youth Initiative Production Center, by the Committee for Culture, Sport and Tourism of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, by the Center of Development and Support of Cultural Projects "Golden Raven" and is supported by Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Government of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, the Russian Filmmakers’ Union, AU CHAO Okrkinovideoprokat.
The Festival is composed of the following competition sections:
• international competitive selection of full-length feature and documentary films;
• international competitive selection of short feature films;
• international competitive selection of short documentary films;
• international competitive selection of short animation films;
• regional competitive selection "FilmRising!".
Out-of-competition program of the Festival includes:
• full-length and short films;
• animated films;
• other media content at the discretion of the Organizing Committee of the Festival.
The Festival "Golden Raven" is distinguished by the fact that the winners in the main category (The Grand Prix) are chosen not by a jury of experts, but by the viewers, who take part in preferential voting.
The Festival's expert jury includes professional filmmakers from Russia and abroad, and it chooses the winners in the other categories.
Submissions to the Festival will be accepted to December 20, 2024.
Russian submissions are entered online at the Festival’s official web site http://goldenravenfilmfest.ru/ and it is obligatory to send all the materials to section https://goldenravenfilmfest.ru/zayavka.
Foreign submissions are entered for Selection committee via one of online-platforms including Festhome (https://festhome.com/festival/the-golden-raven-international-arctic-film-festival).
The submission to the competitive sections is free.
The Selection Committee of the Festival will make its final decisions no later than on March 15, 2025.

Dumbo Film Festival is a yearly event structured in monthly contests. Every month, each of the categories will be awarded and a final ceremony will be held every year in New York City’s district of Dumbo to award projects that have been judged the very best over the past year. This structure is meant to highlight both affirmed and emergent filmmakers and to launch promising artists into the world film stage.

Besides the main International Competition, Ca’Foscari Short Film Festival includes the “Olga Brunner Levi” competition- centred on short movies directed by high school students focusing on “womanliness and music” theme - and an International Competition of music videos directed by film school students or university students.
Embracing the medium of short film, Tally Shorts Film Festival is excited to bring a truly unique and independent cinema experience to North Florida with the goal of increasing community awareness and support for film as a cultural and economic asset. In our inaugural international short film competition in 2019, we meticulously screened over 1000 submissions to curate a selection of 50+ films. Organization
The short film festival Armoricourt is organized by the association Armoricourt.
The edition 12 will take place from 24 to 27 September 2020. The festival is held in France, Brittany, Côtes d’Armor, Plestin Les Grèves (22310).
Purpose
The Armoricourt festival aims to:
- Broadcast and promote the short film to the public;
- Support cinematographic creation;
- Encourage and reveal talents;
- Encourage meetings and exchanges between the directors and the public;
- Propose a cultural event.
The festival revolves around a short film competition, split into 2 sections: Francophone Films(language french) and Non-Francophone Films(no french language)with French sub-titles.
Cortoons Gandia is the International Animated Film Festival of Gandia, organized by Cortoons Festival, the city of Gandia, la Generalitat Valenciana, through the Institut Valenciá de Cultura (Culturarts), and the participation of Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) Campus de Gandia.
In the 2016, after 12 years of great success in Rome, Cortoons international festival of animated films, he moved to Spain in the beautiful town of Gandia in the province of Valencia.
The 20th Cortoons Festival Gandia edition will be a great festival of animated films for professionals, animation film funs and all the general public.

The Cinematographic Residence CINEMALAB 2020 V2.0
"INDEPENDENT CINEMA IN THE AGE OF STREAMING"
CinemaLab is an opportunity for the maturation of feature film projects and low-budget series, in the script, construction (work in progress) or finalized in search of promotion and distribution, so that, strengthened by the collaboration and advice of experts, they can advance and consolidate.
In Zapatoca "The Happiest Town in the World", 20 selected projects will be incubated, within a national and international call, providing the right environment for filmmakers to focus their energies and move forward, through new and creative paths.
The laboratory will focus on the most neuralgic areas of realization, an immersion through individual, group and master classes, with renowned filmmakers.
