"Mirada al Pasado" is a festival of short films in which shorts can only be about the past (actions that take place in a past place, that refer to the past or a historical epoch) and belong to the genre of fiction or documentary.

Sochi Film Festival is a year-round cultural and educational organization dedicated to fostering better communication between people of diverse cultures through the art of film and the moving image. We serve Sochi’s diverse and under-served citizenry by providing access to world-class cinema. We aim to enrich Russian cultural environment by presenting film in contexts that encourage discussion and debate.
Through the SOCHI Film Festival, our Education Program, and our year-round programming and membership program, we enhance the cultural assets of the city of Sochi by exhibiting film from around the world. We also strive to promote a deeper understanding of a diverse body of cultures, thus contributing to Sochi’s identity and orientation as an international city.
This year’s theme for our Film Festival is “New Filmmakers” and should address new beginnings: as new filmmakers, new MBAs, new scripts. We are looking for creative quality feature and short films that are consistent with and/or celebrate the theme of the festival.

Ars Independent Festival 2019 will be the 9th multimedia festival of film, animation, video games and music videos. The upcoming edition will take place in Katowice, between the 24th and 29th of September 2019.
The festival is searching for what’s cool in young, debuting, contemporary audio-visual culture. It’s not afraid to watch videos with 27 views on YouTube, it’s missing the “least popular” sorting option on itch.io and considers Festival Scope Pro decidedly “too mainstream”.
The heart of the festival are four international competitions, in which the audience decides about the awarding of prizes. The Black Horse of Film (feature films from all over the world) and the Black Horse of Animation (short features) present the cinematographic debuts by directors from the entire world, often as their Polish premieres. The Black Horse of Video Games and the Black Horse of Music Video are devoted to new games and music videos.
Additionally, every year festivalgoers are treated to: screenings of films, animations and music videos, video game exhibitions, virtual reality and new technologies, discussion panels and Q&As with artists, concerts, live acts and musical afterparties.
In previous years, the festival hosted a variety of artists from all over the world, including Béla Tarr, Nina Menkes, Phil Mulloy, Laila Pakalnina, Bruce LaBruce, Tami Tamaki, Stephen „M.O.O.N.” Gilarde, Jakuba Dvorský, Mariola Brillowska, Piotr Dumała, Arkadiusz Jakubik, Bodo Kox, Łukasz Barczyk, Sos Sosowski, Wiktor Stribog and Władysław Komendarek.
The event is organized by the culture institution Katowice the City of Gardens and the City of Katowice.

第9回富山国際映画祭は、2020年6月に富山県で開催されます。 昨年、この小さなコミュニティをもう一度世界中の映画制作者のビジョンを共有することに興奮しているような大きな成功を収めました。 応募作品は、2020年5月15日まで開館します。
第2回富山国際映画祭は、富山県の農村部で開催されました。 この地域の少数の英語教師から始めて、日本だけでなく世界中の多くの人々に手を差し伸べることを望んでいました。 そして、私たちは確かにそうしました。 このフェスティバルは、30カ国から100以上の応募作品で大きな成功を収めました。 私たちの最初の年にわずか10回の提出から非常に一歩です。 今後も日本の利益のために、今後も継続していきたいと考えています。
第1回富山国際映画祭は、約70人の収容人数を持つショッピングセンター内の小さな部屋で行われました。 翌年、富山市で地元独立会場、ボデガスマンボで開催され、約80～100人のゲストが映画を見に来ました。 今年は、さらに拡大し、参加者と映画界の皆様にさらに大きな会場を提供したいと考えています。
今年は世界中の人々に手を伸ばし、チャリティーのために短編映画を制作し、富山県で映画文化を創り出すために皆に挑戦しました。
注意：時間の制約により、10分以上かかる映画は受け付けておりません。 しかし、あらゆるジャンルの短編映画が展示の対象となります。

The 2018 FOCUS Children's International Film Festival screens animated short films that answer the Festival theme's question: "What Does Make the World a Better Place?"
The FOCUS Children's International Film Festival was founded in 2016 by a non-profit organization FOCUS School of Theatre, Arts and Filmmaking and DASH Productions Inc. to highlight children's love for Film and Creativity, as well as to give a possibility to amateur young filmmakers to showcase their work in front of not only their parents and peers but also in front of general public and film professionals.
This year is the second year we go internationally. In 2017, we received more than 200 entries and 22 films-finalists from 9 countries: Canada, USA, Brasil, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Croatia, Kyrgyzstan, Iran were chosen and screened at the festival.
The intent of the FOCUS Children's International Film Festival is to demonstrate a child's take on the important things in our lives as well as to emphasize the power of animated film in communicating about What Makes the World a Better Place.
Toronto is a vibrant, thriving, multicultural community with a strong tradition of support for the arts. Young Filmmakers from any country and culture are welcome to submit their Films.
The association Cineffable has been organizing the “Paris International Lesbian and Feminist Film Festival”, a major annual event since 1989. The purpose of this unique moment is to promote the work of women filmmakers and artists the world over on lesbian and/or feminist themes.
This space reserved exclusively for women offers the opportunity to share experiences, enrich understanding and explore the various aspects of lesbian and feminist culture through screenings, debates, conferences, expos, workshops, stands, performances, etc.
The annual all-female festival takes place every end of Octobre-begining of November and is the main event organized by the association Cineffable. Throughout the year, Cineffable also organizes various screenings and events open to all, in partnership with other associations, festivals and venues.

We accept feature and short films and documentaries, screenplays, photos, and music videos. Juries, consist of professionals in the film and music industry, will judge the quality of each submission carefully. Films made with passion, excellent composition quality, heart-moving music, striking and outstanding images, and heart-tickling stories are qualities we are looking for and will stand out among others.

Animaphix - International Festival of Animated Film, created by Rosalba Colla, It is organized by QB cutural association, was born in 2015 the commitment of a group of people already working in the film industry. The objective of the festival is to arrange a meeting of young filmmakers, to introduce the work of local and international film schools, and to award films chosen for the competition by the international jury. The festival is organized by Filmfest Písek, The Independent Film College in Písek and The Film Academy of Miroslav Ondříček in Písek in cooperation with the town of Písek.
