The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, celebrating its 26th Anniversary October 6th-October 15th is the oldest non-fiction festival in North America. HSDFF offers multiple awards categories, and is a designated Academy-Award© -qualifying festival for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Documentary Short Subject. MovieMaker Magazine has named HSDFF to its global list of “50 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee”. Moscow TV Festival is an annual two-day event in the heart of the Russian capital.
Our mission is to offer a great opportunity to have your short films screened for a Russian audience that might not have other ways to experience your work. Your film will be viewed by our local audiences and will be judged by a jury of film professionals.

Tokyo Sun Film festival attemtps to setting up in Tokyo to provide independent filmmakers with a platform that offers them interaction, networking and greater visibility.
Our screening takes place at the cinema chupki theatre in the tabata District, located in the north of Tokyo - a hip location in Tokyo for independent, counter-culture and progressive thinking.
This is our third year! We have rebranded successfully from the Norwich Radical Film festival to the Manifesto Film Festival located in Amsterdam. Different name..same powerful vision.
The Disunited States of America was a huge success with 9 venues and over 200 films in the "Venice of the North"!
2019's Country of focus will be Kurdistan...a territory that is not official recognized as its own sovereign nation, however, should be....
Again, films all over the globe from all genres are welcome here. we love great stories, powerful character development and innovative filming. APRESENTAÇÃO
O conceito TUWUN representa a origem territorial mapuche, que junto com KVPALME, a origem familiar, representa a identidade mapuche enraizada na LOF, um espaço territorial que, por sua vez, é a base da estrutura territorial ancestral de um espaço mais amplo, o WALLMAPU, todo o território mapuche.
Esse conceito de mapudungun, a língua mapuche, dá origem à TUWUN Muestra de Cine Indígena de Wallmapu, criada com o objetivo de dar a conhecer, através do cinema, essa identidade e as realidades relacionadas ao conhecimento ancestral e à maneira como ela é entendida. A vida a partir da visão e relacionamento de cada povo com seu ambiente, com seu território, com sua própria história, cultura e espiritualidade e, portanto, a partir de sua própria perspectiva.
Nesse sentido, acreditamos que a exposição TUWUN representa uma oportunidade valiosa para aprender sobre a forma como a vida é entendida a partir da própria cultura dos povos indígenas e um espaço importante para compartilhar a perspectiva e a realidade expressas a partir de suas próprias vozes representativas, por meio do cinema. Além de contribuir para a descentralização do cinema e da cultura, gerar um processo de circulação em nível territorial e levar a exposição itinerante e suas atividades complementares a um público amplo e diversificado, em áreas urbanas e rurais, com a exibição das obras participantes em vários espaços, como comunidades mapuches, escolas e centros culturais em cidades que geralmente têm dificuldade de acessar o cinema porque estão longe dos grandes centros urbanos, gerando também Nvtram (espaços de conversação) em torno de seu conteúdo.
PRINCIPAIS ATIVIDADES
TUWUN é uma exposição de filmes indígenas que consiste principalmente na realização de uma Exposição Central, que acontece todos os anos durante 4 dias, no Centro Cultural Municipal de Villarrica, acompanhada de atividades realizadas em várias áreas da cidade. E de uma Exposição Itinerante, que abrange vários lugares em Wallmapu, o território ancestral mapuche (sul do Chile e Argentina) e é realizada do mês seguinte à exposição central, até junho do ano seguinte, onde para o povo mapuche O ciclo termina e recomeça com a celebração do Wiñoy Tripantu (Ano Novo mapuche).
ATIVIDADES COMPLEMENTARES
No âmbito da TUWUN, desenvolvemos várias atividades complementares, tanto durante a exposição central quanto durante a exposição itinerante. Entre eles, um TRAWUN (encontro), exibições especiais de convidados dos povos indígenas e do povo mapuche, NVTRAMCINE (fóruns de cinema), exibições do TUWUN inseridas em outras competições de cinema e cultura, exibições para escolas e comunidades, ciclos especiais na temporada de verão. E um workshop para a valorização do cinema com identidade, que projetamos para treinamento e mediação com diferentes públicos, como crianças e jovens em idade escolar, adultos, líderes de organizações, comunidades mapuches, etc.
ALIANÇAS ESTRATÉGICAS
A TUWUN Muestra de Cine Indígena de Wallmapu é coordenada e produzida pela ADKIMVN Cine y Comunicación Mapuche, com o patrocínio do Centro Cultural Municipal LIQUEN e do Ilustre Município de Villarrica, e a colaboração de uma rede de organizações, centros culturais, departamentos municipais de cultura, comunidades mapuches e centros educacionais.
XII Festival Internacional de Curtas “VISÃO” foi lançado pela primeira vez na Sibéria (Rússia) em 2007. O Festival tem como objetivo demonstrar filmes oficiais de seleção em três nomeações: filme de ficção, documentário, animação; e inclui uma cerimônia de premiação e demonstração de filmes fora da seleção. O Festival também organiza workshops de críticos e diretores de cinema, além de reuniões com profissionais criativos. Uma das tradições maravilhosas do Festival “VISÃO” é o voto do público. Juntamente com o júri profissional, o público começa a escolher o melhor filme preenchendo questionários. O melhor filme escolhido pelo público recebe um prêmio especial. O slogan do Festival, “Compartilhe sua visão do mundo”, apela a cada jovem diretor para visualizar sua visão sobre o mundo e compartilhá-la com o público. Cada trabalho é único e aborda uma determinada categoria de espectadores. Ajuda a tornar o programa do Festival diversificado e versátil.

KAFFNY Infinite Cinema Call for Entries
Who should submit?
KAFFNY invites filmmakers and artists of all backgrounds, from any country. Given our history, Korean, Korean-American and Korean – diaspora filmmakers are especially encouraged to share their works, but that is by no means required. Films from years 2017 and 2018 preferred.
What themes/topics/films are appropriate?
Any films, shorts, or documentaries which reflect the commonalities of humanity across cultural divides, highlight multi-cultural interaction, challenge existing narratives, or provide mirrors for people to reflect on their own culture through the experience of another.
2018 Theme: Conversations to Form The Future
Films which address topical themes of 2018 will be given additional consideration, including:

-#Metoo and themes of “Future is Female”
-Sustainability

The past eleven years of experience in telling Korean American stories helped KAFFNY to identify and find commonality with other stories at the intersection of all cultures. We are ready to evolve, with a new mission to identify unifying commonalities and bust cultural stereotypes by connecting voices through our shared experiences.
2017 KAFFNY Festival
2017’s festival, held on October 14th at the Wythe Hotel Cinema featured five distinct blocks of programming that approached the topic of Infinite Culture through specific lenses: INFINITE FOOD CONNECTION, INFINITE FASHION CONNECTION, WORLDWIDE KOREAN CONNECTION, INFINITE MIGRATION CONNECTION, and CRAZY, RICH ASIAN AMERICANS. Alongside the screening of 25 short films and two feature-length films, the audience engaged in meaningful discussions with the filmmakers during the moderated panel discussions.

Entering its’ second year, Something Wild Film Festival is tightly curated non-competitive filmfestival looking to present the best and most innovative works from around the world in November.
Located in Durango, Colorado, this festival's inaugural year took place at a single screen and featured 10 feature length narrative films, 1 feature length documentary, and a 1 shorts program.

Now in its 7th year, Damnationland is an invitational Maine-based short genre fest. We work hard to feature the best filmmakers and films from Maine. Our premiere event draws over 800 excited film fans to the beautiful State Theater in Portland every year in early October. The program then tours all over Maine before moving on to festivals and other screenings around the world. Last year, we screened from Ohio to Singapore, with a couple stops between.
This year, we are adding an international film competition to our annual get-down. In 2017, Damnationland will be featuring independent films from across the world for the first time. No longer contained to the borders of Maine, Damnationland is now opening up a few precious slots to filmmakers from around the world.
The highlight of the program will still be the premiere of 7 Maine-made dark genre pieces at the State Theatre. It's a huge event, with over 800 film viewers lining up last year to see Maine's best. But this year we will be supplementing the Maine shorts with additional screenings. All weekend, we hope to show the best dark genre work from around the world.
We want to show filmmakers outside of the state what Maine can do, and expose their films to our own rabid Damnationland audience.
So send us your dark genre films! We are looking for things that are dark, scary, disturbing, seedy, or just downright weird. Take a look at the archive on our website to see what sort of films we feature.
We can promise you great crowds for your screenings and a great time in one of the best small cities in the country. Winners will also receive a travel stipend to attend the festival here in Maine in mid-October. Our primary goal is to get you here. You show us your film, and the we can show you ours!

We select Music Videos and dance movies from all over the world and we screen them to give young artists both sides of the camera an opportunity to be noticed for their talents
