INIFFAA as the Festival is abbreviated , will continuously be a haven for film practitioners, Entertainers and lovers of entertainment. We will continue to invent new ways of keeping our Followers engaged and excited.
The Festival was founded by Obinna Muoma, a prolific film maker and a Nollywood stake holder. He is the founder of Inside Nollywood.
“Accussì” was born from the broader idea of creating (in the future) a real Festival “for the eyes”, dedicated to the beauty of “local” territories, of spaces such as towns and villages that often experience dynamics of abandonment, and which instead in this project they become the theater of various types of performing arts, and primarily of a series of short films. The objective is to make the area of Giampilieri, sadly known in the news due to the floods in Messina in 2009, a place in which to welcome and talk about the beauty of cinema, without abandoning themes and contexts of a more "local" dimension .
The greatest ambition connected to this festival of short films is that it represents the beginning of a process of territorial valorisation where the central theme will always be the cultural redevelopment of the Village: a festival of short films "to begin with", a "Festival For Occhi" in all respects in the coming years, an event where cinema, theatre, visual arts, murals, sculptures and outdoor performances will meet and intertwine to enhance the entire context, contributing to its regeneration.

Islands in music & video
Ai
Oceans and seas cover 71% of the earth's surface, produce half of the oxygen we breathe, absorb 25% of carbon dioxide, capture 90% of the additional heat generated by these emissions and feed 3, 2 billion people. The oceans, seas & marine resources, lungs of the earth, are essential for sustainable development.
Promoting the heritage and creativity of the world's islands and caring for the oceans & seas is a major factor in developing the blue bio-economy, which is why we adopted it as the main axes of our cultural and media project.
The islands of the world, through the oceans and the continents of the planet, conceal important cultural and patrimonial wealth, as much by their variety, their specificity as by their authenticity. The islanders, being cut off from the continent, are forced to live in osmosis with their environment, to vibrate to the rhythm of the elements of their natural setting, and to dominate the rigors of their daily life by giving free rein to their creative imagination and their innovative spirit. In this perspective, artistic creativity is the best support for the expression of their dreams, their emotions & their collective memory

FICARQ is the International Film & Architecture Festival of Spain to screen both documentary and fiction films where architecture plays the main role.
This year, following the success of previous editions (in Avilés and Oviedo, Asturias, Santander, Madrid and Barcelona).
The official competitive sections are ARTE EN EL SÉPTIMO ARTE (fiction films) and ARQUITECTURAS FILMADAS (documentaries).
In this new edition of FICARQ, in addition to being a bridge between the cinematographic and architectural arts, we want to be a bridge between generations and for this reason we dedicate a special mention to those proposals that come to the festival made by people who are younger that twenty-five y.o. and over fifty y.o.
With this, we intend to encourage the participation of citizens, especially in the fiction and documentary short or micro-film categories to give a space of recognition to all those people who, by age range, are further away from the conventional circuits of audiovisual production and film festivals. cinema.
we sincerely believe in the transforming power of art and culture in our society and in this way we give way to many points of view of creation in freedom, showing in each city in which FICARQ is organized a window open to its citizens and their concerns, whether conventional through the urban, rural or archaeological landscape, as well as other ways of relating to their environment as occurs in urban art or showing forms of expression of people within an architectural environment such as contemporary urban dance, streetdance, breakdance, parkour movement, etc.
2021-FICARQ'S LEITMOTIV:
CLIMATE CHANGE AS UNCERTAINTIES POSED TO US IN THIS NEW NORMALITY, WHERE SOLID SOCIAL AND FAMILY STRUCTURES DILUTE IN AN INFINITE SUCCESSION OF NEW BEGINNINGS BECAUSE THE LACK OF AN INSURED FUTURE.
