The London International Animation Festival proudly showcases the whole spectrum of creative animation, showing that animation is for everyone.
Founded in 2003, LIAF aims to dispel the popular misconception that animation is just cartoons for kids by screening the broadest possible range of intelligent, entertaining and provocative current films on offer from all around the world as well as retrospectives and specialised sessions from countries and animators who don't normally elicit such attention.
Our annual 10-day Festival includes gala premieres, retrospectives, Q&A's with filmmakers, workshops, audience voting, and the Best of the Festival screening.
La Verdad Multimedia S.A. convenes, within the Festival of Arts - RENDIBÚ, the Rendibú '18 Short Film Contest, with the purpose of stimulating and spreading the cinematographic creation, according to the following bases.
OWF (OUT Web Fest), the world’s only digital festival dedicated to celebrating web series, short films, and music videos by and for the global queer community, is now accepting submissions. OWF's mission is to provide the opportunity for all queer content creators to connect with the global community and celebrate the progressive evolution of LGBTQ+ entertainment. OWF breaks the mold of other festivals by giving prominence and a voice to the honest and unfiltered digital short-form storytelling that does not rely on access to resources, lofty budgets, or elite “movers and shakers” in the industry.
In the 21st Century short-form content leads as the hottest and fastest growing category in digital entertainment and we believe it is the perfect forum to share multiple perspectives of queer culture that make our stories some of the most innovative, ground-breaking, and unique in the world. OWF introduces international and local digital content creators, producers, and fans to inclusive programming that acknowledges the cultural significance of this revolutionary intersection of medium and storytelling.
This festival will feature workshops, pitch sessions, and panels with industry experts, as well as screenings. The festival will conclude with an awards ceremony and closing night party.
Our sessions take place in Galeria 33. Two Thursdays per month you have the opportunity to watch at least three short films, meet our special guests and get to know all about new emerging projects, always presented by their production teams.
Dialogue is encouraged, so the audience is welcome to ask questions and comment on what has been shown. No problem if you are shy, you can do all this while sipping on a cup of Beer!

San Diego Underground Film Festival (SDUFF) is San Diego's premier showcase of experimentation in video, film, and audio based mediums. A strong DIY ethos, combined with an art school brain and a punk rock heart makes the San Diego Underground Film Festival a unique place for films, videos, and audio pieces that strive to push the boundaries of accepted form and content. Films and videos that dissent radically in form or technique will be our priority in selections. Narrative films and documentaries that expand on narrative structure, or cover subjects related to subcultures or esoteric topics; animations both narrative and experimental; experimental films and video art; all will be considered for selection. Films and videos must show a strong sense of authorship.
Lo-fi films, punk rock films, skate/surf films, cooking shows, NO WAVE, glitter pop. Surprise us.
"In a middlebrow city like ours, such an event challenges the soft and conventional programming that has become the status quo. Yet Betschart and Nakawatase seem downright positive about their radical objective ...Ambition runs deep with these two, and it shows in their programming." - San Diego City Beat
This festival is non-competitive and is held in sunny San Diego, CA, USA.

New NAMES, new GENRES, new CINEMA LANGUAGES on a big screen in the middle of Siberia!
International Kansk Video Festival (Russia/Siberia) is not a conventional film festival. It is an experiment in time and space. The small Siberian city of Kansk, was found on the Internet by chance and selected as its name correlates with the Cannes Film Festival, Kansk in the Russian language is pronounced the same as Cannes.
*************
Since 2002 the festival has taken place annually in the depths of Siberia. Far away from the Côte d`Azur in the severe Taiga climate, 7000 km from London, 4500 km from Moscow and 300 km from Krasnoyarsk by the Trans-Siberian Railway formerly used to transport shackled contvicts. In this area, full of wonderful and brave Siberian people, pelmeni and cedar nuts, even buses seem reminiscent of the old school buses from a long lost Soviet place full of magic.
The Kansk Video festival has grown immeasurably from it’s 2002 beginnings. Each year it hosts an international jury from the industry and artistic communities, running international film and video-art competitions with a special screenings program and a bank of ideas big enough for the next 150 years. The festival promotes new names, new genres and new cinema trends of the independent and uncompromising video and filmmaking industry.
The 14th FICCI-ON - Ciudad Rodrigo International Film Festival aims to promote educational, social and spiritual films made around the world.

There will also be room for films with ethnographic themes, social denunciation or commitment to the development of the culture of Peace. Regarding spiritual themes, this is a very broad section where religious and/or spiritual films will be included, regardless of the confession and creed of the film and its authors.
