Il 24° Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Almería si terrà ad Almería (Spagna), al fine di promuovere la provincia di Almeria attraverso il rafforzamento dei legami storici della provincia con l'industria e la cultura audiovisiva, da venerdì 14 novembre a domenica 23 novembre 2025. Il Festival è organizzato dal Consiglio Provinciale di Almería.
OBIETTIVI
Il Festival intende promuovere la forma espressiva e artistica del cortometraggio dando visibilità a nuovi autori, valorizzando e promuovendo i prodotti della cinematografia e favorire lo scambio e il confronto di esperienze tra i cineasti.

UNDER 35: Sezione aperta a cortometraggi di qualsiasi genere le opere realizzati da registi che, al momento della scadenza del presente bando, non abbiano ancora compiuto 35 anni. Durata massima di 20 minuti, titoli di testa e di coda inclusi.
TOSCANA: Sezione aperta a cortometraggi diretti da registi nati in Toscana. Durata massima di 20 minuti, titoli di testa e di coda inclusi.
The Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival celebrates its 9th edition this year. HBRFEST quickly became the main festival dedicated to promoting independent Brazilian cinema in the United States. It is the only festival in the world capital of cinema that supports the exchange between the best in independent Brazilian production and Hollywood.
In 2017, the Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival will present three days, of the most brilliant Brazilian films of the year. Award-winning actors, writers and directors will be in attendance.
In addition to the film screenings, the Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival also promotes panels, workshops and debates.

The Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival is produced by Talize Sayegh, which also has been cooperated with major festivals like the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (Laliff) and the Rio Festival.

WLISFF objective is to feature great cinema of worldwide filmmakers in a big way & at the same time providing professional networking & introducing current trends of cinema to the participants. Il festival ha un carattere internazionale e possono partecipare tutti gli autori con film conformi ad altre proposte. I film selezionati in concorso saranno giudicati in due categorie:
1. RICETTA FILM - una sorta di documentario che dovrebbe visualizzare l'immagine completa e/o le istruzioni di testo per la preparazione di creazioni culinarie (pasti, bevande o deserti), comprese le informazioni sugli ingredienti richiesti e la sequenza di lavoro. Sulla base di quelli, dopo aver visto il film si dovrebbe essere in grado di preparare la ricetta.
2. CATEGORIA OPEN - un film che dovrebbe tematizzare o raffigurare contenuti relativi a cibi e/o bevande.
La durata dei singoli film presentati è limitata a 15 minuti.
International Film Festival – FERFILM was thought for some years but established in 2013. FERFILM was formed by a group of artists from Ferizaj and beyond. This moment was considered as an initiative to promote universal cultures and values of the world through film as a multidimensional and attractive method. Thinking of tourism’s potential that has Ferizaj, besides cinematographic events, our festival will organize visits and other events that show the cultural diversity in Kosovo.
Chittagong SHORT è stata fondata per creare una piattaforma per i giovani registi e studenti di cinema. Per ispirare i giovani, ha iniziato un festival cinematografico dal 2016. Questo festival #CSFFBD è stato progettato con proiezione di film e concorso, master class, workshop e seminario. Berlin Revolution Film Festival is an annual event where we promote and celebrate films not tied to big production companies, institutions or TV stations.
We look for unconventional and underground films made with a personal voice and style. Simply put – we're looking for the next generation Art House!
We first and foremost seek bravery, a lust to experiment and express using the medium of Film, regardless if the film maker is an amateur starting out or an established professional.
Experimental, Fiction, Documentary, Animation and all sorts of genres – anything goes as long as the banner of Independence is held high. Attention in the selection process will be given to artistic originality and creativity.
Participating at the festival should be a valuable experience, and something film makers look forward to return to. To encourage and support this we provide accommodation to all selected film makers in Berlin for the Festival. And we have a category for previous participants where they have a carte blanche to screen their new films.
We also invite and pay for accommodation for film organizations attending the festival such as film critics, festivals, film clubs, producers etc that have focus on True Independent Cinema. All to make it a both friendly, relaxed and valuable experience for everyone attending.
So far we have screened hundreds of films from more than 50 different countries such as Brazil, Iran, USA, Russia, Sweden, Lebanon, Tunisia and of course Germany to name a few. We've also been blessed to have film makers visiting the festival from many of these countries.
We work to establish a platform that isn't than just a "one and done" event, but rather the opposite where the first experience with screenings, meetings, networking and fun is just the first of many to come. We work to make it a festival film makers return to - to show their new works but also to meet up with others they met the first time around, to see what they have done and to discover new films, meet new people to network and have fun with.

Feedback, Review & Festival Consideration
It's frustrating to be declined and not get to know why. However, it can also be frustrating submitting to a festival and be forced to pay a higher fee because it includes feedback you're not interested in.
We work diligently, with care and dedication when putting the program together and when it comes to feedback for the submissions we do the same thing. This is why we divide our categories so that feedback is separate from the submissions and is an in-depth review rather than a small note.
Feedback is given by our head programmer Andrija Jovanovic and is an extensive analysis and review of the film and it's different components. Film language, dramaturgical storyline, pacing, technical aspects of grading, compositing and editing, acting etc. It's direct, honest and constructive.

We have no hard rules, but the following tend not to be a good fit for us:
- Films that seek to educate and teach the viewers
- TV-format films and headshot interview based documentaries
- Music videos and films solely driven by soundtrack
We spend months carefully watching and programming our festival selection. Presenting the best possible program we can is what our festival is built upon. Submitting to the festival is to pay to have the film considered and is not a guarantee to have it selected. We receive hundreds of submissions each edition and only around 5% are selected. Please make sure that you wish to submit before doing so.

HOW DOES IT WORKS ?
Each month, a winner will be chosen in a monthly competition from the submissions received during the past month, becoming one of the 12 Finalist of the LIVE screening. The trailer of this Finalist Short Winner will be shown on P3J.TV (a cultural WebTV followed by people from 47 countries) with a bio of the Director, the poster of the Film and a description of the Short.
At the end of the year, a LIVE screening will present a great night of short, at the Barberivain Cultural Center of Sainte-Barbe (Québec, Canada). 12 months. 12 finalists. 1 great winner. INSFF? International narrative short film festival. Filmmakers? Get noticed!

Ogni film viene visto e valutato da un comitato di tre persone, compresi gli organizzatori del Gosh Film Festival: Magali Souart e Fabio Soares.
Tutti i film sono visti dal comitato, non è consentito il «pass by».
I membri del comitato non possono essere coinvolti in alcun modo nei film che partecipano alla selezione ufficiale.
GIURIA
La giuria è composta da professionisti del settore TV e cinema, la lista e il curriculum di GOSH! La giuria è disponibile sul nostro sito web.
La giuria si riunisce a Parigi e decide in merito ai premi, ad eccezione del premio del pubblico, assegnato dal pubblico.

L'Encuentro Hispanoamericano de Cine y Video Documental Independiente: Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces è uno spazio per viaggiare attraverso varie realtà ed estetiche del Messico e dell'America Latina.
Contra el Silencio ha la sua prima edizione nel 2000, quando praticamente gli unici festival cinematografici esistenti in Messico erano Guadalajara (1986) e Guanajuato (1998), e in generale, in America Latina la situazione non era molto diversa, c'erano pochissimi spazi che diffondevano e davano riconoscimento al documentario sociale.
Da questo stesso spirito e impegno a promuovere e sostenere la creazione di documentari arriviamo piacevolmente alla dodicesima edizione che si terrà dal 4 al 12 novembre 2022. In cui avremo proiezioni delle sezioni competitive, delle funzioni speciali, nonché delle attività accademiche e di formazione che promuovono la critica e la riflessione.
18° FESTIVAL DEL CINEMA SPERIMENTALE CINETORO
CINETORO è concepito come una Festival-School transdisciplinare, dedicata alla pratica curatoriale e alla formazione dei registi, alla costruzione di ponti tra talenti emergenti e artisti di spicco nazionali e internazionali e alla promozione di analisi e critiche relative alla produzione e al pensiero alla base del cinema e dell'animazione sperimentali.
Sosteniamo un cinema in cui poesia e arte dialogano; che ponga il suo limite oltre il perimetro della spettacolarità, della correttezza tecnica, degli argomenti e delle forme all'ordine del giorno. È un cinema imperfetto, che accetta la sua condizione artigianale e si preoccupa del recupero della coscienza della corporeità; riflette, problematizza e mette in discussione la costruzione dell'immagine e del suono.
Cinema con un'impronta territoriale, che ridisegna, muta e si pronuncia davanti al mondo. Ridimensionare il territorio, trasformare la prospettiva sulla ruralità e fornire alla comunità spazi per l'appropriazione della conoscenza.

Un suono lontano rimbomba nell'oscurità della stanza, un richiamo proveniente dalle profondità abissali dell'oceano, una canzone penetrante che attrae e lega. L'ascoltatore accede al ritardo temporale e salta nel vuoto. Quel salto comporta un pericolo e, allo stesso tempo, è un incontro con l'ignoto. Quei film che saltano, che cercano nell'oscurità, nell'ombra, nel mistero, nello spettro, nel suono ma anche nel silenzio, sono quelli che ci interessano di questa edizione.
Il suono, in quanto movimento, può rivelare la dimensione temporale di un'immagine, ferma o in movimento. Piuttosto che limitarsi a supportare semanticamente le immagini, il suono può fungere da asse strutturale. Cerchiamo film che esplorino le diverse relazioni tra immagine e suono o trattino il suono come materiale plastico. Che si tratti di un approccio concettuale in cui il suono struttura il film; o in cui la voce ha un peso non solo per ciò che viene detto, ma anche per le sue qualità: la voce come materiale plastico, come rivelazione e riverbero; o dove la musica, invece di accompagnare semplicemente l'immagine, diventa una parte strutturale del film stesso. Film che prendono forma attraverso il suono.
Vogliamo immergerci nelle profondità del suono, in modo che con gli occhi chiusi possiamo vedere e ascoltare mentre nuotiamo e ci immergiamo, poiché, da un punto di vista teorico o curatoriale, sono state fatte poche esplorazioni in queste acque
I canti abissali fungono da richiamo, e questa chiamata è ciò a cui vogliamo rispondere, in questa edizione. Cerchiamo animazioni, documentari, fiction, film ibridi e sperimentazioni che risuonino con questi canti, con questo invito a vedere e sentire in modo diverso.

Storia di fondo
L'Ekurhuleni International Film Festival è nato come risultato del programma Siyafunda, un'iniziativa di Rhythm Cycle Trading Projects in collaborazione con la municipalità metropolitana di Ekurhuleni: Dipartimento: SRAC: divisione Performing Arts. Lo scopo del programma è quello di responsabilizzare economicamente i giovani disoccupati e fornire loro competenze cinematografiche vitali. Promuovere le imprese locali dell'industria cinematografica e promuovere la coesione sociale e lo sviluppo dei giovani. La promozione della musica e degli strumenti indigeni e la partecipazione alle arti è uno dei ruoli chiave del Programma.
L'ala cinematografica del progetto ha avviato l'Ekurhuleni International Film Festival attraverso uno dei suoi partner Rhythm Cycle Projects, una società di produzione cinematografica e televisiva locale. Lo scopo del festival è quello di potenziare i registi emergenti locali e internazionali. Ciò fornirà competenze cinematografiche; creerà opportunità di networking con emittenti locali e internazionali. 1. Garantire che ogni dipartimento governativo disponga di una relazione sullo stato di avanzamento in video in preparazione del prossimo esercizio finanziario.
