Colchester Film Festival is an international film festival taking place annually in Colchester (UK).
We showcase some of the best short and feature films from the UK and around the world as well as offering a programme of workshops, master classes and panel discussions from industry professionals for anyone wanting to learn more about filmmaking and the film industry.

/ ī - 'fē - əs / (noun): a rare species of butterflies. A butterfly is the symbol of change, the soul, creativity, freedom, joy and colour. Their power is transformation, shape shifting and soul evolution. The eyes of butterflies consist of thousands of individual lenses. The Esseoesse Cultural Association announces the competition "CortoDino Film Festival Dino De Laurentiis 2024 - XIV Edition", a competition that stems from desire to remember and celebrate, in his native land and in commemorative and propositive terms, the figure and work of Dino De Laurentis. The Metropolitan city of Naples, Vesuvian areas, “Giorgio De Chirico’s Secondary School of Art and Communication”, the others secondary schools of the area and the main cultural associations of the Vesuvian and Campanian areas will collaborate in the event.

Área de Contenção - Encontros Internacionais de Cinema Fantástico e de Horror do Cartaxo is a film festival happening in the city of Cartaxo, Portugal, from 6th to 8th of November.
This festival aims to promote the cultural and artistic values, namely, film and even encourage the taste for film and the arts in General, looking to study and discuss issues related to the theme of the fantastic and horror. The containment area still reserve a special audiovisual attention produced by Countries and Portuguese Expression Language and the region of Ribatejo.

The Charlie Chaplin Comedy Film Festival honours the pioneering spirit of a great film maker and advocate for social change.
We are delighted to be holding the fifth annual CCCFF in August 2015 in the beautiful village of Waterville on the Ring of Kerry in the South West of Ireland. The festival includes a hugely entertaining range of events, screenings, workshops and Chaplin themed street entertainment and much, much more. Waterville extends a very warm welcome to you all.

CineBodega Film Fest is a 3 day event celebrating low budget, micro budget, no budget, alternative, underground, underserved and underrepresented filmmakers from all over the world who are overlooked by festivals. Our passion is to showcase filmmakers who's work doesn't necessarily fit in neat little boxes. We are open to all genres and project lengths (Features, Shorts, Music Videos and Web Series). There will be Screenings and discussions with Filmmakers as well as workshops, a special tribute, a Latino themed showcase and music performances. The Primitive Stage in Woodland Hills, CA will host the CineBodega Film Fest and just 20 min from Hollywood (but much farther away in spirit). Submissions are only $5 ($10 late submissions) and only online will be accepted. You can submit as many films as you like. We understand what a no budget filmmaker goes through.
Cinebodega also hosts monthly screenings. When submitting to the festival your entry will also be considered for one of our monthly film events.

The 13th FICEE - International Festival of Educational and Spiritual Cinema of Ciudad Rodrigo, aims to disseminate the educational, social and spiritual cinema that is made throughout the world.
The theme of the festival will therefore be educational, social and values; including all those films that favor child development in all its aspects. Value films that deal with the issue of human rights, as well as intercultural dialogue. The films of ethnographic theme, social denunciation or commitment to the development of the culture of Peace will also be accommodated. Since 2003 the international Festival SIGNES DE NUIT is active in Paris, Berlin, Saarbrücken, Bankok, Quito (Ecuador), Tucuman (Argentina) and now Urbino, as also with special screenings world wide. The festival in Paris actually presents some Hundrets films over the year coming from around 60 countries.
The Festival is searching films, which reflects new views, original imagery and critical approach to the crucial points of the modern human existence. It is a place for cinema that expands its own boundaries, that is astonishing, different, potentially free from the pressure of tradition, ready to give itself to the unpredictable experimentation.
The minor costs of digital production makes an independant- from comercial influences and any kind of censorship- production possible. These independant productions create an alternative, an artistic space very subtle and accessible to all, in contrast to what mass media offer.
This opposition and the preservation of the free cultural space is the goal of the International Festival Signes de Nuit, which has realized screenings and interventions in 23 different countries including Algeria, Australia, Chile, Cuba, Lebanon, Lithuania, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Peru, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey and the United States beside the screenings in main festival in Paris.
FARO 1540 - Association for the Defense and Promotion of Environmental and Cultural Heritage of Faro, after the success of the last editions of FARCUME - International Short Films Festival of Faro, is organizing the 11th edition of this Festival to be held in the city of Faro from 20 to 22 of September, 2024.
This 14th edition of FARCUME intends to exhibit and promote works in the short films section of up to a maximum of 18 minutes in length, divided into three categories: Animation, Documentary and Fiction.
In this festival, all national and foreign citizens can participate, individually or in groups, simply by complying with the stipulations in the regulation, filling out a registration form and having sent their works to the organization by June 21, 2024, subject to pre-selection.
The main purpose of this Festival remains the same: publicize and launch new talents as well as promote near the public the excellent works that are done in this area but not always have the desired and deserved promotion.
In other words, FARCUME within an informal environment, good mood and relaxed atmosphere intents to reward and recognize the dedication, commitment, creativity and merit of directors, actors and technical teams that, with modest means, can develop works of great quality.
Given the principles and goals of "FARO 1540", which even has the status of NGO (Non Governmental Environmental Organization) the Festival will continue to have a strong environmental concern and sensitivity alerting participants not to present short movies claiming or encouraging disrespect for the environment, human rights inequality or animal abuse. It will be further developed an Environmental Management Plan specifically "designed" for this event to ensure optimization of the resources needed for the promotion and accomplishment of the event and management of generated wastes.
