Международный кинофестиваль «Prvi kadar» /First Frame — важное кинособытие в Боснии и Герцеговине, миссия которого заключается в продвижении киноискусства авторов со всего мира. Фестиваль также носит соревновательный характер. Фильмы соревнуются в двух категориях: документальные и короткометражные фильмы.
Пятнадцать выпусков фестиваля, большое количество авторов, проявивших интерес к фестивалю, доказывают, что фестиваль признан среди художников всего мира как важное и престижное кинособытие.
Фестивальный отбор подтверждает преемственность, в первую очередь художественный подход, на котором и построена вся идея первого кадра. При рассмотрении взаимосвязи между темами и идеями особое внимание уделяется позиции автора или художественной идее.
Насыщенная внеконкурсная и конкурсная программа высокого художественного качества, образовательные программы, лекции DokMasterClass, кинокампус художественных документальных фильмов, выставки, популяризация книги о киноискусстве, многочисленные гости из мира кино — свидетельство того, что фестиваль из года в год расширяется, обогащая содержание программы. В этом году фестиваль пройдет с 20 по 24 ноября 2023 года в Восточном Сараево и Зворнике, Республика Сербская, Босния и Герцеговина.

The Toronto Student Film Festival is run by youth for youth. Since its inception in 2006, the festival has received submissions from across the globe. The festival strives to promote and showcase work by young filmmakers, whether shot on a cell phone or an HD camera.
The goal of the Timamu African Film Festival is to recognize and award talented African independent filmmakers and Writers, therefore helping them to increase their distribution and project funding opportunities.
The TiAFF is here to provide filmmakers with the opportunity to have their work recognized, judged and awarded. We’re a traditional festival looking to showcase entertaining domestic and international materials from talented independent African filmmakers.
Festival highlights include: red carpet opening reception, parade of flags of the countries in the festival, libation ceremony, African drumming and dance, film screenings, post-screening dialogue with filmmakers in attendance, theme parties, African marketplace, food, closing and awards ceremony.

With its headquarter in Mbombela, the Mpumalanga International Film Festival (MIFF) is strategically located, easily accessible to filmmakers from all over the world.
Mbombela is the capital city of Mpumalanga and a getaway to the province renowned for its fauna and flora such as the Kruger National Park, Panorama Route and vibrant townships. Mpumalanga offers prime locations for any shoot, from television commercials to movies. It also boasts perfect weather and climate conditions as well as solid infrastructure.
Since its inception in 2013, MIFF has provided a platform for filmmakers to showcase their craft in an enabling environment. To date, the festival has shown 139 films of which 89 were international.
The province, being home to the Big Five, Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and world-class infrastructure, including an international airport, is ideally geared and best situated to meet the needs of filmmakers.
In Mpumalanga, Mother Nature and man have combined to ensure filmmakers create perfect filmic moments that last for years.
Mpumalanga International film festival is an annual event showcasing new independent films or recently produced films, high profile and undiscovered talent, established and upcoming filmmakers, student filmmakers, and films from around the world. Festivals normally have two or more screens or venues to showcase films. Accepted filmmakers’ hustle to get their film noticed in the hope of obtaining distribution or favorable media.
Anibar International Animation Festival is the only event of the kind in Kosova, and one of the greatest events in the country. Since the beginning, the festival is organised and held in various settings in the city of Peja.
Anibar screens animated films coming from different places around the world, that in five cinemas, three of them set outdoors. Except the screening of the films during the festival, workshops, lectures, debates and additional daily activities (concerts and camping) are organized.
Year by year, the festival endeavors screening qualitative films, in both, technical and artistic aspect of the view. The selection of entries is made in accord with a criteria deriving from a limited staff of professionals who aim balancing the audience, artistic reviews and the market.
Anibar has also socially influenced the youth community in Peja, and further, enclosed with the film screenings and other events, before, during and after the festival, a wide group of youngsters are engaged in helping and working with the idea and preparations of the festival, meanwhile they gain an experience which as a matter has been truly acknowledged by a vast support of different local and national institutions (private and public).

NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) is a non-profit organization designed to showcase innovative works by emerging filmmakers from around the world, providing the Los Angeles community of entertainment professionals and film goers with a constant surge of monthly screening events. NFMLA provides a forum where filmmakers can be recognized for their contributions, have open audience discussions about their projects and connect with industry professionals for insight on distribution, production, acquisition and representation.

Throughout the intense programming, fiction and documentaries, winners will be exhibited and critically acclaimed. All have been featured in several international festivals, Jewish or not cinema.
