"Inside The Short" is an international competition presenting the newest and best short films from all around the world.

The fifteenth edition of the Cinephagus Meeting, born in 2011 from the conjunction of the Andes University Cinema Club and BORDES, an independent organization dedicated to study and promote arts and humanities in Venezuela, will be held in San Cristóbal (Venezuela), from August 7 to 9, 2025, with an online screen available for audiences around the world.
Experimental films are more than welcome: our festival encourages innovation and transgressing of format, genres, political and aesthetic borders. We are especially receptive of video-art and dance films, as well as animation and documentaries, considering it necessary for artists to have adequate spaces for the exhibition and critique of their work, outside commercial circuits and other formal demands that may limit creative exploration of contemporary languages.
We are also interested in films exploring the subject of frontiers. Táchira is located in the border of Venezuela with Colombia, and this has traditionally been the most active geo political limit in Latin America, but in the last five years activity has been more than unusual, deserving many different views to be displayed. The story of this and other borders from around the world may be valuable contributions to our festival, which encourages reflective discussion as well as aesthetic enjoyment of all works presented.

The calendar of face-to-face screenings consists of private functions with people from the industry, as well as the general public (venues vary).
The limit for short films is 25 min. including credits, if they pass this time they will be automatically disqualified.

3rd KRAKÓW INTERNATIONAL GREEN FILM FESTIVAL is the first and biggest film festival in Poland focusing on environmental issues. Established in 2018 by Green Festival Foundation, KIGFF is a festival that seeks to share the hope for a better world where all the lives can live in harmony with environment and nature. The Cultural Association CinemìCinemà, based in Arezzo (Tuscany, Italy), has been running an International Short Film Festival for Italian and international film-makers since 2009. The festival was originally created to encourage the use of the English language and videos for educational purposes for Italian high schools and it has evolved throughout the years opening its audience to international video-makers without loosing its main aim: promoting cinema amongst the youngest generations, and not only, with a particular attention to inter-cultural dialogue. The kermesse honors Mario Maldesi, a great Italian dubbing director; it partners with international and Italian short film festivals like Edinburgh Short Film Festival.

The 12th edition of Cinemìcinemà International Short Film Festival will take place online on www.cinemicinema.it the 1st and 2nd October 2021; finalist films will be displayed on our website and our audience will have access to them through a private link to our Youtube channel for a month; the Festival Closing Ceremony will be held on Saturday 2 October 2021.
Festival Categories
There is no theme for 12th edition. The two categories are:
-Short Films
-Animation Short Films
Each category is divided into two sections according to the author’s age:
-UNDER 30 (years old)
-OVER 30 (years old).
One or more short films can be submitted, produced after 1st January 2018 and no longer than 15 minutes including credits (VLC. MPG4. DVD).

Short films can be submitted between 15th March 2021 and 7th June 2021.
They can be submitted through Festhome platform.
Season deadlines and fees to be paid for each submitted piece of work:

All deadlines as well as late fees/surcharges, are strictly enforced, with no deviation, negotiation or exception and apply for ALL Participants.
For the citizens of those internationally sanctioned or embargoed countries who are interested to submit their video materials, CinemìCinemà Cultural Association reserves the right to provide for exceptions. They should contact the Festival staff for details.
All non English films must be subtitled in English.
Documentaries, videoclips, video art films and video Ads are not admitted.
The ones submitted after 7th June 2021 will for no reason be accepted.
The festival committee can anticipate the submission deadline in case of unforeseeable circumstances.

The CINALFAMA FILM OBSERVATORY, held in a historic neighborhood, emerges as a transformative cultural initiative that strengthens the community network. The Cinalfama Film Observatory is a regular cinema competition in January, April, and October.
The winning films of each of the three editions (Jan, Apr, Oct), will be showcased in our annual outdoor cinema event, Cinalfama Lisbon International Film Festival, in July 2025.
Following the great success of the First and Second Edition of the Asylum Fantastic Fest, which in 2019 saw over 2,500 admissions, over 30 Italian and international guests, about 300 films sent for selection, and in 2020, over 70,000 contacts in streaming, the 'Department of Culture of Valmontone and the OutOut Art Workshop open the selections for the Third Edition.
Born from the idea of the Founder Claudio Miani, it is located in the heart of Lazio, in Valmontone, to become a reference point at national and international level for lovers of the genre, in a vision of long-term cultural project capable of bringing further emphasis , prestige and tourism to the entire territorial area.
An Art Festival as a "living cultural" project, where we do not just want to understand the culture in which we live, the actualization of the theme and the expressive form linked to the world of Horror and Fantastico, but with a wider range, all those experiences with their own roots and those evolutions developed by them, which in the positive sense of globalization interchange themselves in new cultural realities. The search for new trends and the opening up to currently non-standardized basins, allows us to guarantee the realization of a Festival capable of acting as a multi-year point of reference for a current that has always been looking for stimuli and developments. An event that wants to be an opportunity to stimulate collaboration between young Italian and international artists, offering moments of meeting and exchange for the sections present at the Festival.
Contamination is the word that contains sufficiently and clearly the importance that the Asylum Horror Fest reserves in this first edition and will reserve in those to come, the encounter between the different artistic forms. Working in a non-formal environment, where all the entities involved will be jointly responsible for the organization, it will be possible to reach the common goal of creating an expressive context where each of the participants can express their creative potential.
Palma Mountain Film Festival (Mallorca) open the 2024 call for entries for the competitive short film section, which aims to promote and publicise short films on mountains sports (mountaineering, expeditions, climbing, caving...), mountain nature and ethnography.

At the end of May of 2024, la Florida will host the 6th edition of FILMSERÈ - International Short Film Festival of La Florida. This project is perfect for the students of the subject of Cinema that is carried out in the Institut Eduard Fontserè high school, of the own neighborhood, with the guidance of two teachers linked to the world of cinema. It is an event organized by neighbors to neighbors, where the other residents of L'Hospitalet, Barcelona and elsewhere are also invited. It is an international festival, with big open-air screenings, where short films received from all over the world will participate, and which for the moment has received the support of the Pla Integral Les Planes-Blocs Florida of l'Hospitalet City Council.
Short films of all kinds will be screened, with a single requirement: that they be of the highest quality and with high doses of entertainment. Fiction, documentary, animation and experimental shorts and video clips are accepted. There are several prizes, some of them in cash, and among them a special award for the best short film on social issues.
