The association Mente Acrobatica in partnership with CGIL Taranto organizes for June 2016 the 3rd edition of the International Festival of short films “Taranto in short”.
The festival is divided in FOUR sections:
• INTERNATIONAL (dedicated to short films from all world nations excluding Italy with the requirement of English or italian subtitles );
• NATIONAL (dedicated to short films from Italy);
• WORK AND WORKERS’ RIGHTS (dedicated to all short films from all world nations including Italy dealing with work and workers’ rights with the requirement of English or italian subtitles ).
• ANIMATION (dedicated to all animated short films for an audience of children aged between 8 and 13, from all world nations including Italy with the requirement of English or Italian subtitles).
Every director or producer can compete with each job to ONE section of the festival that
must be specified during the submission.
Skepto International Film Festival is a competitive festival dedicated to short films, without restrictions on subject matter, style, or production budget. The main goal of the festival is to give visibility to independent filmmakers from all over the world and to build an open space where they can freely exchange ideas. Video productions of any genre or style are allowed. Audiovisuals created through the use of artificial intelligence in all its forms are also included.
The thirteenth edition of the festival will take place in Cagliari from October 2023 to June 2024: the main competition will be held in October 2023 in Cagliari, and there will also be two side events at locations to be identified in Italy and/or Europe and to be held at later dates, in any case by June 2024. Sofia MENAR Film Festival makes Bulgarian audience familiar with the culture and traditions of the Islamic world. The programme of Sofia MENAR Film Festival presents the best of Middle East and North Africa cinema productions, including feature films, documentaries and short projects. Festival Inclús is a festival of audiovisual productions, both documentary and fiction centered on the theme of physical and mental disabilities. It is an initiative Associació Inclús and conducted by Fish Muvi.
The aim of Festival Inclús is to give visibility to audiovisual works produced around the theme of disability with a different point of view. The goal is to provide a deepest perspective of the reality of disabilities, whether the production is carried by entities directly involved in the world of disability, or other persons or groups.
We also are an inclusive festival that is why we have two new sections: Inclus values, cinema for kids and teens about social issues and Sing Language cinema, movies in sign language.
The Festival will be held in November, 2024, close to the International Day of Disability December 3rd. The Audiovisual material of the finalists will be played during this day according to the different categories. There will be awards for the best submittals. Inclús focuses on audiovisual productions, but it also has other artistic and commercial activities and disciplines in order to give visibility to this sector.
Since 2013, the International Film Festival for Human Rights Colombia offers attendees an audiovisual, cultural and academic program that contributes to the formation of audiences, the strengthening of film and cultural industries, the creation of spaces for dialogue around life, reconciliation, the promotion and defense of human rights, and the construction of ideas for peace.
The Festival is the ideal setting for the film community of Colombia and the world that bets on audiovisual narration with a focus on human rights, which is why it becomes the main platform for the promotion, circulation, distribution and exhibition of audiovisual works whose demand is limited due to their non-commercial subject matter.

The 2019 Culver City Film Festival will be December 3rd - 8th and will be held at Cinemark 18 & XD at the Howard Hughes Promenade. Additional venues to be announced soon. All submissions are only $30.00 ($25.00 for Gold Members). Submissions are Open for shorts and feature narratives and documentaries, as well as music videos and even experimental films.
