The 13th FICEE - International Festival of Educational and Spiritual Cinema of Ciudad Rodrigo, aims to disseminate the educational, social and spiritual cinema that is made throughout the world.
The theme of the festival will therefore be educational, social and values; including all those films that favor child development in all its aspects. Value films that deal with the issue of human rights, as well as intercultural dialogue. The films of ethnographic theme, social denunciation or commitment to the development of the culture of Peace will also be accommodated. Regarding the spiritual theme, this is a very broad section where religious and / or spiritual cinema films will be accommodated regardless of the confession and creed of the film and its authors.
ELIPSIS Cinematographic Arts and Sciences International Meeting
is a project developed to propitiate the exchange of ideas, experiences and points of view, among students, filmmakers and researchers in the cinematographic field, with the intention of linking the academic and professional perspective in the seventh art within its diversity. The meeting integrates spaces specifically directed to academics or artist, as well as others designated for dialog and collaboration between them.

Created in partnership between A Gota Preta Filmes and the Centro Cultural Phábrika from experiences with the Municipal Schools Sculptor Leão Velloso (06.25.019), Journalist and Writer Daniel Piza (06.25.41), Érico Veríssimo (06.25.06) and Charles Anderson Weaver (06.25.05), the International Short Film Festival for Children and Youth has the mission to contribute to Education by providing a playful environment conducive to learning through the exhibition of educational films from around the world, betting on the aesthetics of cinema to develop critical sense, sharpen curiosity and stimulate interest in learning in an area with fragile school performance!
Our goal is to invest in this exchange by screening the selected films for 22 municipal units, impacting the lives of thousands of students by expanding the offer of Cultural Capital to the population served by the schools concentrated in micro-areas 6.5 and 6.7 of the 6th Regional Education Coordination of Rio de Janeiro, lacking equipments that provides this access.
INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH held annually with the aim of presenting an overview of the new film productions for children and adolescents, to the best and most diverse materials to the region. It also seeks to motivate local distributors to buy new films, TV shows and new formats with its extensive programming. The 53rd edition of the Sehsüchte International Student Film Festival, one of the biggest film festivals for young filmmakers in Europe, will take place from 25th April to 28th April 2024 in Potsdam. It offers up-and-coming filmmakers from all over the world a platform to present their works to a broad audience and come into contact with the industry. Founded in the 1970s as a showcase for young filmmakers in the GDR, Sehsüchte has established itself over the decades as an internationally important festival and has become an integral part of the Berlin and Brandenburg cultural landscape.
Sehsüchte sees itself as a place of encounter and creativity, as an event of cultural diversity and a celebration of cinema, today as well as tomorrow. The festival is planned, organized and implemented entirely by students of the Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. The direct connection to the renowned film university enables a unique exchange between young talents, media practice and academia.

In the ancient Greek myths, ambrosia is the food or drink of the Greek gods, conferring longevity or immortality upon whoever consumed it. It was with ambrosia Hera "cleansed all defilement from her lovely flesh", and with ambrosia Athena prepared Penelope in her sleep, so that when she appeared for the final time before her suitors, the effects of years had been stripped away, and they were inflamed with passion at the sight of her.
The consumption of ambrosia was typically reserved for divine beings. In the Odyssey and the Iliad, Homer uses the word ambrosia for three things: the food of the Olympians, a salve used to treat corpses, and as a perfume to cover up the smell of uncured seal skins. Regardless of all this confusion, the word is now used metaphorically to mean anything so fragrant, so delicious that it seems divine "delightful food and drink".

We live in a world of extremes with food starvation on one side to gluttony on the other. And yet there are those who live with abundance at their fingertips and the means to healthy and delicious meals yet chose to feast on empty nutrition. Small things can and do bring joy. Foodie loves both the simplicity and complexity of food and drink, respects food, eats mindfully, give thanks for every bite or sip, curious to know how food is prepared, preserved, and planted, always on the lookout to learn, grow, share, and serve.
Ambrosia Food & Drink Film Festival solely dedicated to films focused on food and drink, as well as those films, where food and drink is an important part of the synopsis (or may be for one memorable scene). In striving to honor the craft in both spirit and in name, the Festival has since reintroduced the art of animated filmmaking to Armenian audiences.

OFFICIAL SELECTION
Each film is seen and rated by a committee of three persons, including Gosh Film Festival organizers: Magali Souart and Fabio Soares.
All the movies are seen by the committee, there is no “pass by” accepted.
Members of the committee can’t be involved in any way, in movies taking part of the official selection.
JURY
The jury is composed by professionals from TV & Cinema, the list and CV of GOSH! Jury are available on our website.
The jury takes in Paris and decide about the awards, except the audience award, given by the audience.
GOSH! Film Festival organizers do not take part to the jury and respect their final decisions.

The cultural organisation “Nouveaux Espaces Latinos” is now preparing the 15th edition of the festival “Documental - L’Amérique latine par l’image”. It will take place at Lyon in France from 22 to 27 November 2021 and will be the first post-Covid edition.
