Although the review is essentially "free theme" it will be the responsibility of the Proponent Association, in line with its own statutory "mission", to collect and subsequently select works that express / promote content that respect the constitutional principles and rights

Shot with any support (iPhone, Tablet etc ..), using a very small budget and without equipment and professional teams.

Welcome to the 4th edition of the Meraki Film Festival. For this edition we will be in both Berlin (Germany) and Madrid (Spain)! Two cities, double the chance to be selected or even to be selected twice!
Our festival is inspired by the meaning of the word “Meraki“ and its relation to the process of creating films and screenplays.

MISSION
Master of Art Film Festival is unique cultural event and the only in Eastern Europe international film festival for Documentaries on Art. It takes place in Bulgaria – Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna.
The festival focuses on different artistic approaches on Art.
Its program is dedicated to Documentary cinema that represents the artistic vision both on history of Art, Contemporary Art forms and to celebrate the multicultural diversity in our time.
Our goal is to show documentaries that manifest the talents and the creative process in the following categories: Architecture, Design and Fashion, Art and Power, Contemporary art, Culinary art, Fine Art, Photography, Literature, Music and Dance, Theatre and Cinema.
Documentaries produced and released after January 1, 2022 are eligible to the competition of Master of Art Film Festival. The festival pays attention also on modern tendencies in Video Art and Advertising.
The mission of Master of Art Film Festival is to create an alternative platform to the mass culture. We want to create an opportunity and to contribute a dialogue and cooperation between artists. The festival is the biggest forum in Eastern Europe for young documentary filmmakers, tempted to tell inspiring stories about the Art.
Master of Art Film Festival is organized by Spotlight Production Company, The National Palace of Culture and ‘Master of Art’ Foundation with the financial support of Municipality of Sofia, AURUBIS BULGARIA, Bulgarian National Film Center and etc.
The festival funds are raised by participation fees, financial subsidies, donations, sponsorship and tickets.
The 8th edition of the festival will take place in а hybrid form - simuntaneusly online and with screening in Art cinemas:
• 9 - 29 February 2024 - Screenings online on a special Festival platform available only from Bulgaria and in Art cinemas in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Stara Zagora.
• Summer edition - August/September 2024 in open air places.

Oslo Film Festival bids you welcome to our yearly festival in the heart of Oslo. Known for our famous mountains, excruciatingly cold weather, and delicious waffles, we look forward to seeing faces from all over the world attend our warm, friendly and diverse film festival.
OFF is run in association with Close:Up, a collection of international film festivals supporting indie filmmaking. By establishing a working network among filmmakers, producers and marketing professionals, we share one common goal: to forge productive and lasting relationships between independent filmmakers and audiences.
As an international and independent film festival and therefore we accept submissions of all genres. To encourage our youth, we have opened several affordable categories only applicable for students.
Press will be invited to our next event where we will also film and conduct Q&A interviews with the filmmakers.
Additionally, we will be facilitating a short filmmaker round table with local industry professionals on the topic of Distribution for Independent Films.
We offer two types of submission rates. The standard categories which include Best Feature, Best Short, Best Documentary etc. and add-on categories (such as Best Director, Best Producer etc.) which come at a fixed price of $10.

Prague Film Awards, now in its second edition, was born out of a desire to create a welcoming space where international cinema and Czech filmmaking can meet and enrich each other. After our hugely successful, sold-out first edition in January 2018 and January 2019, we will be returning to Kino Atlas in Prague, January 2021.
We believe quality filmmaking should be celebrated and awarded, regardless of the budget. This is why our dedicated team of international programmers focus on creating the most diverse screening selection. Why our nominated filmmakers are guests of honor. Why seeing and hearing the audience react to your cinematic work is just one of the many ways your work is being rewarded.

The Annual Copenhagen Film Festival is an international independent film festival held annually in Copenhagen, Denmark. It aspires to promote, recognize and support independent filmmakers throughout the world by hosting a variety of awards in order to provide the best opportunities for filmmakers to get recognized in a very competitive industry. MANIATIC- FANTASTIC INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF MANISES it´s a festival of fantastic genre to bring the world of the short film to the new generations of spectators who otherwise would not have access to the latest creations of the future directors of cinema.
The registration of a film in the competition selection process of the festival indicates the full acceptance of these bases. The organization of the Festival will resolve in an unappealable manner with respect to any matter included in this regulation or its interpretation. The GEH Short Film Competition is a short film competition on human rights held in different localities of Gipuzkoa (Basque Country).
This competition is part of the global project human rights Giza Eskubideak Herrira (Bringing human rights to the people.). The GEH is a human rights awareness project created by the dar-dar Productions cooperative in 2015. The first editions were based in Ordizia. In 2023, the festival has developed and extended to several towns in Gipuzkoa (Euskal Herria).
The main objective of this competition is to raise awareness and educate on human rights. Because this short film contest is a window that we open to the world, and from that window we can see the different realities that people live in different parts of the planet. In view of these realities, we intend to encourage reflection on human rights violations in different parts of the world.
Whatever the format is, all films will compete on equal terms.
Awards:
1.First prize 1000€ for the best short film.
2.Second prize 500€.
3.Special Award "Arteria Award" 400€ for Vasque Country's best short film.
4.Young prize 300€.
To these prizes will be applied the retention of the corresponding tax (IRPF).
