We do not categorize submissions by genre, only by duration. We will program screening blocks based upon the characteristics of the selected films themselves.
BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY Edition! New town, new time, same eclectic and eccentric programming. Lansing's REO Town takes over hosting our two-night-and-all-of-a-day festival, including screenings and at our festival's new home in the beautiful Robin Theatre and other venues, a Friday night Film.Craft.Beer VIP Party, and Filmmaker Q&As. Jury and Audience Awards will be presented during the festival.

About the Festival
The Africa World Documentary Film Festival (AWDFF) is sponsored by the School of Theatre, Television, and Film at San Diego State University, San Diego, California. USA.
The AWDFF has as its objective the promotion of knowledge and culture of the people of Africa, in a Pan-African context.
In promotion of the Pan African context, public viewings of submission accepted by AWDFF shall also occur in Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.
Though the AWDFF is non-competitive, prizes of $1,000 and $500 shall be awarded to two documentaries in Full-length and Short categories, respectively judged by the AWDFF committee as furthering understanding and contributing significantly to knowledge of the African World.
GRACE! International Film Festival & Cinema Awards is an annual international event focusing on independent filmmakers.

All the finalists will go to the annual competition ending with the live screening event in Berlin we organize each season.
Some of the winner films will also be screened at other international film festivals.
