La première édition du Festival du film de La Spezia a eu lieu en 2016, dans le but de créer et de développer un festival alliant recherche et attention aux goûts du public, tout en étant conscient que la participation culturelle a également des répercussions sociales et économiques, qui constituent une valeur ajoutée pour les territoires.
Organisée par Cut-up Publishing et Associazione Cinema e Cultura, avec le mécénat de la municipalité de La Spezia, la direction artistique est confiée à la réalisatrice Paola Settimini et au scénariste Paolo Logli. Le président du jury est le professeur Roberto Danese de l'université d'Urbino.

The central theme of this edition is "Territories, showing resistance".
This theme seeks to generate debate and thought about the processes of resistance that are taking place in Colombia regarding the care and dignification of the territories. We start from the relationship of body and territory, and we claim that in that exercise of counting our territories (those we inhabit and those that forced us to leave) and the struggles that are in them, we are revealing resistances.
Only Argentine citizens or foreigners residing in the Argentine Republic may participate in the competition who comply with the terms and conditions of these regulations.

We are looking for exceptional independent features and shorts in the categories of: Dark comedy, genre, dark sci-fi, cerebral and/or psychedelic horror, unusual documentary, music video, animation, or films that defy description (preferably with a WTF) from all over the world.
Since 2012, BUFF's primary screening venue has been the historic Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, MA. In addition to film screenings, BUFF hosts receptions and parties all over Harvard Square for attending filmmakers, industry guests, audience members, and media.

Le Festival de Malaga, en collaboration avec le secteur de l'égalité des chances de la mairie de Malaga, poursuit l'objectif de soutenir la présence des femmes dans la production cinématographique, de créer des espaces qui rendent visible le travail des femmes dans le domaine audiovisuel, domaine professionnel où elles sont sous-représentées, à la fois dans la réalisation, dans la production ou dans l'écriture de scénarios ; de favoriser l'industrie cinématographique avec les points de vue divers des femmes.
Afin d'atteindre cet objectif, la zone de l'égalité des chances organisera son « XXII FILM SHOW WOMEN ON STAGE », entre les mois d'octobre et novembre 2024.
L'EXPOSITION DE FILMS WOMEN ON STAGE a été créée en 2002 dans le but de débattre, par le biais de cinéforums, des inégalités entre les sexes existantes dans notre société ainsi que dans d'autres sociétés voisines, en réfléchissant à leurs causes et aux stratégies sociales possibles pour les éradiquer.
Depuis 2010, cet objectif de sensibilisation et de visibilité a été ajouté au soutien de la présence des femmes dans la production cinématographique, un domaine dans lequel l'écart entre les sexes est important, en tirant parti du fait que chaque jour de plus en plus de femmes souhaitent développer leur carrière professionnelle. Dans ce domaine, l'un des objectifs de la SECTION OFFICIELLE DES FEMMES SUR SCÈNE est donc la visibilité des productions audiovisuelles réalisées par des femmes, et cela est réalisé en consacrant les sessions du soir à la projection exclusive d'œuvres réalisées, produites ou scénarisées par des femmes.
1. Festival du film Brain
Le Brain Film Fest (BFF) est un festival international de films dédié à la mise en valeur et à la promotion de la création et de la diffusion de longs métrages et de courts métrages sur tous les aspects du cerveau, de ses capacités et conditions étonnantes à ses pathologies. Le BFF est organisé conjointement par la Fondation Pasqual Maragall et Minimal Films. En plus d'être une compétition cinématographique, le BFF organisera également tout au long du festival d'autres événements sociaux, culturels et/ou scientifiques en personne et en ligne axés sur le cerveau.
La 9e édition du Brain Film Fest aura lieu du 11 au 15 mars 2026.

Le Festival international du film et des droits de l'homme - HUMANS FEST, organisé à Valence depuis 2008, est l'une des principales initiatives promues par la Fundación por la Justicia. Son objectif est de rapprocher la culture audiovisuelle du grand public et des publics particulièrement vulnérables, tout en défendant les droits humains et en dénonçant leurs violations dans le monde entier. De plus, il propose une série d'activités à vocation sociale.
La 16e édition de HUMANS FEST aura lieu du 29 mai au 7 juin 2025.
Le festival international du film TRAVEL FILM rassemble les meilleurs films de voyage, de plein air, de nature et d'aventure du monde entier, créés à la fois par des professionnels et par des passionnés, et contribue à les faire connaître au public russophone.

ABYCINE – FESTIVAL Y MERCADO DE CINE INDEPENDIENTE DE ALBACETE tiene entre sus objetivos fundamentales la difusión y promoción de películas y cortometrajes de carácter independiente que, por una u otra razón, no disfrutan de distribución regular en los circuitos convencionales de exhibición.
El Festival trata de cubrir, en la medida de lo posible, este importante vacío. Asimismo, otro de sus propósitos, no menos relevante, es presentar una selección de películas que atiendan a las nuevas corrientes del cine joven contemporáneo, al fenómeno “indie” en el cine español y a la educación de la mirada de las nuevas generaciones de espectadores.

L'animation artistique, les rétrospectives d'auteurs, les films qui stimulent la créativité. Le festival 22 ans a lieu chaque année en Lituanie et présente les meilleures œuvres d'animation non commerciales du monde entier. Women in Film
Women play an important role in filmmaking and there are many talents out there and to celebrate Women in Film we have two categories. One programme is a focus solely on Women directors, the second programme category will focus the work of women practitioners in the roles of writers, actresses, producers and Directors of Cinematography but please note the film lead roles must be female led. If you have a film that has a strong female led role or strong female writer etc and you want to be considered for this sectin of the festival please submit to the Women Practitioners category. Film Directors should submit to the Women in Film (directors category).
General Information.
Established in 1995 the festival is now in it's 16th International Shorts edition. Kinofilm has a unique reputation for showcasing the best short films from around the world, whilst being renowned for seeking out diverse, challenging and groundbreaking new films. We welcome filmmakers that are pushing the boundaries of the short film art form. The festival maintains a high standard with many European & International award-winning shorts featured in the Festival. It includes special programmes in North West Shorts (UK), British New Wave, Euro Cine, International Panorama, Kino Exposed (student and youth shorts), low/no budget shorts, Animation and various themed programmes, giving new and emerging filmmakers the opportunity to have their work screened alongside that of critically acclaimed, established short filmmakers.
Please note for 2019, the festival will move dates to February 2020. We will further welcome short films and animations from Eastern Europe as we extend the Polish festival to include more Baltic countries. This year we welcome films for this section from Romania and Russia.
As part of out 16th anniversary we are introducing a features section called Transitions for those short filmmakers that have successfully made the transition from short film to feature. This section is for previous entrants of Kinofilm Festival and can only be entered if you have previously had a short film at Kinofilm Festival. You must provide the name of the short film and year of the festival it was screened in advance of submitting..
All short films should have been completed since January 2018 to present and be no longer than 20 mins (accept documentaries which can be up to 23 mins including credits). PLEASE NOTE FILMS SHOULD NOT BE ONLINE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. ANY FILMS THAT ARE SEEN TO BE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN WILL FACE DISQUALIFICATION.
WE ARE OFFERING STUDENTS (world wide) , GREATER MANCHESTER FILMMAKERS, Youths and community groups, Eastern European Filmmakers and Alumni Filmmakers 20% OF ALL SUBMISSION FEES (please see offers at the top of this entry). The discount is automatically applied when you submit your film to the relevant sections, entry fees start at just $10.00 Please note PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY MUST BE SHOWN in all these categories in advance of submitting the film, you will then receive a code to submit your film.
IRANIAN Filmmakers can submit for free (see above details).
Please note, if your film is selected for screening in one of the cinema screenings you must be able to provide either a DCP or high-quality Bluray of your film. Please contact us if any issues with this and we will try to resolve it by showing the film in one of the other programmes not requiring either of these formats. If it playing in one of our other venues then we will require a digital version, details supplied if your film is accepted.
REFUNDS GIVEN ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES: Please note if you make a genuine mistake and submit your film to us not realising that it does not fit all of the criteria, or you have to withdraw it for other reasons, we will refund your fee if the request is made only within the first two weeks from the date of submission. Films withdrawn later for other reasons such as you wish to withdraw it as your film has been accepted in another festival that requires premier status, will not receive a refund. (Please note that any refunds will be after FFW (8%) and PP (3.5%) commission fees already deducted from your fee, you will only be refunded the net amount that the festival receives).

ENTRETODOS 18 - Est un festival gratuit dédié à l'exposition et à la récompense de courts métrages, d'une durée maximale de 25 minutes, de tous genres et formats, qui abordent des questions liées aux droits de l'homme.
Le festival a lieu à São Paulo. Produit par Prefeitura de São Paulo, Spcine et ESTATE Produções.

Urban Lens Film Festival | Bengaluru: 20 – 23 September 2018 | New Delhi: 16 – 18 November 2018
Cities have always been sites of socio-economic, political and cultural churning, and cinema has provided a space to understand and reflect upon these urban experiences. In keeping with its commitment to bringing out multiple, and sometimes contesting narratives that exist around the city, the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS) will host the 5th edition of the Urban Lens Film Festival in Bengaluru between 20th and 23rd September, 2018 and in New Delhi between 16th and 18th November, 2018 in association with the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan in both cities. As part of a travelling package, a selection of films will also be screened in Mumbai in association with the Godrej India Culture Lab. If your film speaks to the idea of the city and explores urban questions, please do send in your entry. Films of different genres are eligible to enter the festival – animation, non-fiction, short fiction/feature fiction, experimental and student films.
Submission Process
Please fill out the online form to submit the film to the festival. If an online preview screener is not available, please post two DVD copies to the address mentioned below. Please ensure it is marked “For cultural purposes only. No commercial value”
