FRAPA – The Porto Alegre Screenwriting Festival – is the largest event focused in scriptwriting for television and film in Latin America. The 8th FRAPA will be held at Cinemateca Capitólio, from the 14th to 17th of July, 2020. Our aim is to discuss and strengthen the significance of screenplay writing in times of rising in TV and film production in Brazil and in the whole continent.
Inspired by similar festivals in the United States and Europe, FRAPA has grown in size throughout the years, organizing debate sessions, competitions, workshops, screenings, master classes and business rounds. We intend to make FRAPA a reference for the thought of audiovisual writing in Latin America. By encouraging the exchange of experiences between screenwriters and other professionals in the audiovisual market, we create an opportunity for qualification and celebrate new partnerships.
FRAPA has received many renown professionals throughout its three editions. To name a few: James V. Hart (Dracula, Hook, Contact), Bráulio Mantovani (City of God e Elite Squad 1 e 2), Fernando Castets (Son of the Bride), Marcos Bernstein (Central Station), Pablo Stoll (25 Watts and Whisky), Luiz Bolognesi (Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury), Lisandro Alonso (Jauja) and many others.

MI PRIMER FESTIVAL (MY FIRST FESTIVAL) - Festival international du film pour enfants, Barcelone et Madrid - 17e édition : du 9 au 23 novembre 2025.
« Mi Primer Festival » est un festival international de films pour les enfants de 2 à 12 ans. My First Film Festival présente plus de 100 films au cours d'un total de 21 projections. En bref, MPF est un spectacle cinématographique qui met en valeur à la fois différentes techniques et formats ainsi que la créativité d'artistes du monde entier.
La compétition internationale de COURTS MÉTRAGES pour enfants comprendra 4 programmes :
- Concours international de courts métrages pour les enfants de plus de 2 ans
- Concours international de courts métrages pour les enfants de plus de 4 ans
- Concours international de courts métrages pour les enfants de plus de 7 ans
- Concours international de courts métrages pour les enfants de plus de 10 ans
La compétition internationale de LONGS MÉTRAGES comprendra un programme de films, avec un maximum de 10 titres.
Le festival aura lieu en novembre simultanément à Barcelone et à Madrid et constitue une excellente occasion pour les garçons et les filles de 2 à 12 ans de découvrir un cinéma unique et sans précédent.
Le festival programme également des films qui n'ont pas été créés spécifiquement pour les enfants, c'est pourquoi il encourage les réalisateurs ainsi que les distributeurs à présenter leurs œuvres même si elles n'ont pas été conçues pour ce profil de public. Les jeunes spectateurs relèvent le défi, et les présentations et les discussions qui accompagnent les visionnages constituent un bon contexte pour comprendre et apprécier les films.
With a look to the future of Independent Film, the Cutting Edge Film Festival has officially opened its call for entries for feature length and short length films of all genres.
Our festival is looking for the highest caliber of films that audiences can’t, and won’t forget, films created on the cutting edge of imagination, vision, and excitement while incorporating the best filmmaking into the art of the story.

Much like with the digital technology that has swept independent film festivals throughout the world since the early 2000s, for many reasons the virtual theater is quickly becoming the first, best choice for festivals, and the new home of Independent film screening worldwide.
The virtual theater is the future of film festivals, as more and more festivals are now screening films online, and even the big festivals such as the Sundance Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival are moving to online screenings.
Festivals are making the leap to cyber screenings because of many reasons, including that it allows for so much more exposure for the films. It is expected that just like the extinction of the 35mm projectors that were replaced with digital, one day in the not too distant future all film festivals will screen almost exclusively online, with only a few live presentations, if any.
Unlike most other Film Festivals, ours is different because it offers a unique method of viewing films in an online film festival that is totally secure and safe for a filmmaker’s project, and even those that provide online festivals cannot duplicate the safety and security that our virtual theater offers.
Very different from other festivals streaming films online, films in this festival cannot be downloaded, the films HAVE NO EMBEDDING CODE and our HTML code if copied and pasted, the films will not play, therefore they CANNOT be placed on other websites.
The only time and place they can be viewed is in our festival. In short, we have gone to great lengths to set this system up to protect the safety and security of each filmmaker’s film always keeping the filmmaker in mind. Basically, it is just as secure as a brick and mortar theater screening, only much better.
The virtual theater system and screening platform is completely secure and can be viewed from any computer, and mobile device.

L'événement aura lieu en octobre 2023 dans le cadre magnifique de Turin, une ville devenue l'un des centres incontestés de l'art cinématographique. Le FilmmakerDay réunit de nombreux auteurs des quatre coins du monde, ainsi qu'un large public de cinéphiles.
Un grand nombre de films de grande qualité ont participé à FilmMakerDay. Parmi eux : News Neighbors de Bayley, directement extrait du Festival du film de Sundance ; A Gentle Night de Qiu Yang, lauréat de la Palme d'or de Cannes ; In the Hills de Hamid Ahmadi, en sélection officielle au Festival international du film de Toronto.
La neuvième édition de FILMMAKER DAY est désormais organisée par l'association Systemout et l'association ArtinMovimento en tant qu'événement dont l'intention est de valoriser la créativité des cinéastes.
Ce festival est dédié aux courts et longs métrages de tous genres et de toutes durées. Il n'y a pas de règles ni de limites.
La neuvième édition de la Journée des cinéastes aura lieu à Turin, fin octobre 2023, au prestigieux « Cinema Baretti ».

Le Festival international du film d'animation « La pièce d'or de Constantin » est organisé pour promouvoir la créativité culturelle des auteurs nationaux et étrangers.
Le festival Visualízame a débuté en 2011.

Le Festival du Film Rural a émergé dans la ville d'Ayacucho en 2016 comme une initiative de la Direction de la Culture pour promouvoir la production audiovisuelle dans notre ville.
Bien que la zone de travail audiovisuel appartient à la sphère artistique, elle peut également être appliquée selon les disciplines éducatives, environnementales, scientifiques, technologiques, politiques, commerciales et commerciales pour donner quelques exemples.
Ensuite, nous énumérons quelques-unes des idées centrales, en fonction du temps et des ressources, qui ont été et seront développées dans cet espace :
- Direction et coordination générale du Festival du Film Rural.
- Boost et promotion de la salle de cinéma et des espaces de projection alternatifs.
- Liaison et coopération entre les écoles rurales et urbaines.
- Génération de projets socio-éducatifs dans les écoles, les instituts et les centres de formation.
- Dictée des cours et des formations ouvertes à la communauté.
- Production de contenu audiovisuel et de ressources pour les bureaux municipaux.
- Production de courts métrages locaux qui couvrent des histoires fictives et des problèmes sociaux tels que l'agroécologie, l'environnement, les pesticides, le travail rural, la violence sexiste, l'intimidation et la cyberintimidation, la toxicomanie, l'avortement, l'abandon scolaire, la perspective de genre, l'inclusion sociale, entre autres.
- Formation des enseignants à toutes les étapes de la production audiovisuelle.
Nous comprenons cela comme un moyen de promouvoir la production et la réflexion artistique-sociale locale en favorisant le pluralisme culturel et en intégrant notre communauté.

Objectives
• Allow the European public to become familiar with the most recent audiovisual productions about ancient and new life philosophies.
• Promote the increased production and distribution of quality audiovisual work made in all the sub regions of Latin America.
• Provide space for reflection and debate, give professionals the opportunity to keep in touch with current developments, and support the communication between Latin American and European artists, especially around the topic of Buen Vivir.
• Contribute to the understanding of cultural diversity and the establishment of tolerance by putting different realities and social ideals in touch with each other.
• Promote the Buen Vivir philosophy as a topic of international and general interest in the film world.
• Promote cinematic production about this topic within Europe.
• Stimulate producers from all over the world to invest specifically in the topic for a redundancy that ends in a more egalitarian and democratic way of life.
The Buen Vivir Film Screening provides a space for:
• Identifying and spreading video and film productions related to this important philosophy and proposed way of life and development.
• Informing the public and attracting the attention of the media and institutions that work in the audiovisual production industry as well as the promotion of local places and tourism, both in filming as well as content.
• Convening distinguished directors, producers, distributors, cinematic personalities and specialists, both local and international.
• Promoting and stimulating initiatives directed towards the development of policies and projects intended to increase, both in quantity and quality, the areas of work available to producers and topical experts in the planet.
• Holding touring exhibitions in diverse cultural public spaces
