The 9th edition of SantangeloInCorto, short film review, is organized by the Sant'Antonino Martyr of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi in collaboration with the Issa Oratory. The event will take place in August 2018 in Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi (AV).
The theme of short films is free.
Participation is open to works in any language, provided they are subtitled in Italian.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject works whose contents may be considered explicitly offensive to public morality and / or violating the rights of the individual or any other rights of third parties.
They can not participate in the Work Contest with a commercial use, though free of charge.
The previous participation in other national or international festivals does not preclude participation in the festival;
Videos must have a minimum duration of 90 seconds and a maximum duration of 10 minutes (including titles); Videos must have a minimum resolution of 1280x720 pixels.

HorrorQuest Film Festival is Atlanta's FREE Horror Film Festival. Held each year at Cinefest Film Theatre, located on the Georgia State University campus. This is a film and screenplay competition. All preliminary judging is done by a panel of industry professionals and is open to the public to participate, but the film finalists will be screened in beautiful Santa Monica California and final judging will be made with voting by the attending audience.

The people who hold the exclusive “Screening” tickets will be the final set of judges for the films that have progressed to the final round. Discussion topics include how actors can make contact to directors and producers of indie films when they’re available and ready to work. Directors attending will include filmmakers who have active projects they want to move forward with. Producers attending will include representatives who are actively searching for key projects to invest in. Representatives from Fernleif Productions will also be in attendance looking for projects to expand their portfolio including films and talent for not only short films investment, but for additional talent for creating content for electronic games and applications. Experimental, Fiction, Documentary, Animation and all sorts of genres – anything goes as long as the banner of Independence is held high. Attention in the selection process will be given to artistic originality and creativity.
Participating at the festival should be a valuable experience, and something film makers look forward to return to. To encourage and support this we provide accommodation to all selected film makers in Berlin for the Festival. And we have a category for previous participants where they have a carte blanche to screen their new films.
We also invite and pay for accommodation for film organizations attending the festival such as film critics, festivals, film clubs, producers etc that have focus on True Independent Cinema. All to make it a both friendly, relaxed and valuable experience for everyone attending.
So far we have screened hundreds of films from more than 50 different countries such as Brazil, Iran, USA, Russia, Sweden, Lebanon, Tunisia and of course Germany to name a few. We've also been blessed to have film makers visiting the festival from many of these countries.
We work to establish a platform that isn't than just a "one and done" event, but rather the opposite where the first experience with screenings, meetings, networking and fun is just the first of many to come. We work to make it a festival film makers return to - to show their new works but also to meet up with others they met the first time around, to see what they have done and to discover new films, meet new people to network and have fun with.

Feedback, Review & Festival Consideration
It's frustrating to be declined and not get to know why. However, it can also be frustrating submitting to a festival and be forced to pay a higher fee because it includes feedback you're not interested in.
We work diligently, with care and dedication when putting the program together and when it comes to feedback for the submissions we do the same thing. This is why we divide our categories so that feedback is separate from the submissions and is an in-depth review rather than a small note.
Feedback is given by our head programmer Andrija Jovanovic and is an extensive analysis and review of the film and it's different components. Film language, dramaturgical storyline, pacing, technical aspects of grading, compositing and editing, acting etc. It's direct, honest and constructive.

We have no hard rules, but the following tend not to be a good fit for us:
- Films that seek to educate and teach the viewers
- TV-format films and headshot interview based documentaries
- Music videos and films solely driven by soundtrack
We spend months carefully watching and programming our festival selection. Presenting the best possible program we can is what our festival is built upon. Submitting to the festival is to pay to have the film considered and is not a guarantee to have it selected. We receive hundreds of submissions each edition and only around 5% are selected. Please make sure that you wish to submit before doing so.

Chaque film est vu et évalué par un comité de trois personnes, dont les organisateurs du Gosh Film Festival : Magali Souart et Fabio Soares.

L'Encuentro Hispanoamericano de Cine y Video Documental Independiente : Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces est un espace permettant de voyager à travers les différentes réalités et esthétiques du Mexique et de l'Amérique latine.
Contra el Silencio a sa première édition en 2000, alors que pratiquement les seuls festivals de films qui existaient au Mexique étaient Guadalajara (1986) et Guanajuato (1998), et en général, en Amérique latine, la situation n'était pas très différente, il y avait très peu d'espaces diffusant et reconnaissant le documentaire social.
C'est dans ce même esprit et engagement à promouvoir et à soutenir la création documentaire que nous arrivons agréablement à la douzième édition qui se tiendra du 4 au 12 novembre 2022. Dans lequel nous aurons des projections des sections compétitives, des fonctions spéciales, ainsi que des activités académiques et des formations qui favorisent la critique et la réflexion.
18 FESTIVAL DU FILM EXPÉRIMENTAL CINETORO
CINETORO est projeté comme une école de festival transdisciplinaire, dédiée à la pratique curatoriale et à la formation des cinéastes, en jetant des ponts entre les talents émergents et les artistes nationaux et internationaux de premier plan, et en promouvant l'analyse et la critique liées à la production et à la réflexion qui sous-tendent le cinéma expérimental et l'animation.
Nous défendons un cinéma où la poésie et l'art dialoguent, dont les limites dépassent le cadre de la spectacularité, de la justesse technique, des sujets et des formes à l'ordre du jour. C'est un cinéma imparfait, qui accepte sa condition artisanale et qui cherche à retrouver la conscience de la corporéité, en réfléchissant, en problématisant et en remettant en question la construction de l'image et du son.
Un cinéma à empreinte territoriale, qui redessine, mute et s'affirme devant le monde. Redéfinir le territoire, transformer le point de vue sur la ruralité et fournir à la communauté des espaces d'appropriation des connaissances.

Ce que nous entendons est-il vivant ?

Un son lointain gronde dans l'obscurité de la pièce, un appel provenant des profondeurs abyssales de l'océan, une chanson pénétrante qui attire et lie. L'auditeur accède au décalage temporel et saute dans le vide. Ce saut comporte un danger et, en même temps, c'est une rencontre avec l'inconnu. Ces films qui sautent, qui cherchent dans l'obscurité, dans l'ombre, dans le mystère, dans le spectral, dans le son mais aussi dans le silence, sont ceux qui nous intéressent dans cette édition.
Le son, en tant que mouvement, peut révéler la dimension temporelle d'une image, qu'elle soit immobile ou en mouvement. Plutôt que de simplement soutenir les images d'un point de vue sémantique, le son peut leur servir d'axe structurel. Nous recherchons des films qui explorent les diverses relations entre l'image et le son ou qui traitent le son comme une matière plastique. Que ce soit par le biais d'une approche conceptuelle où le son structure le film ; ou où la voix a du poids non seulement pour ce qui est dit, mais aussi pour ses qualités : la voix en tant que matière plastique, révélation et réverbération ; ou où la musique, au lieu de simplement accompagner l'image, devient un élément structurel du film lui-même. Des films qui prennent forme grâce au son.
Nous voulons plonger dans les profondeurs du son, afin de pouvoir, les yeux fermés, voir et écouter tout en nageant et en nous immergeant, étant donné que, du point de vue théorique ou curatorial, ces eaux ont été peu explorées du point de vue théorique ou curatorial.
Les chants abyssaux agissent comme un appel, et c'est à cet appel que nous voulons répondre dans cette édition. Nous recherchons des animations, des documentaires, des fictions, des films hybrides et des expérimentations qui résonnent avec ces chants, avec cet appel à voir et à entendre différemment.
