Le festival a également été déclaré « festival qualifié » par l'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences® aux États-Unis. Cela signifie que les courts métrages ayant remporté les prix du « meilleur court métrage » dans la sélection fantastique officielle et du « meilleur court métrage » dans la catégorie Anima't seront automatiquement pris en considération par le comité de sélection des Hollywood Academy Awards®.
The Villamayor de Cine European Short Film Festival was born in 2008 in the charming village of Villamayor de Santiago, located in the province of Cuenca. Its main mission from the beginning has been to create a space where short films take center stage and young directors have a chance to shine.
Every August, the festival comes to life through the dedication of a team of over forty young professionals. Under the guidance of its founder, Javier Alonso, they work tirelessly to bring the best of European short cinema to Villamayor de Santiago.
Renowned Spanish actor Jesús Guzmán served as the festival’s Honorary President until his passing in 2023. In his memory, the award for Best Fiction Short Film now bears his name, keeping his legacy alive in the film world.
The festival is hosted by acclaimed actor and presenter Luis Mottola, whose professionalism and charisma add great value to the event. Mottola holds a special affection for Villamayor, and the town, in turn, holds him in high regard. @luismottola

C'est là que nous commençons, le côté obscur du cinéma, inspiré du légendaire album de Pink Floyd.
Nous commençons par le côté obscur, invisible à l'œil nu, mystérieux, obscur, un côté aux frontières floues et aux nuances infinies, où rien n'est certain, précis, prédéterminé. Non visible plutôt qu'invisible, qu'il se trouve sous la surface ou ailleurs, c'est quelque chose qui ne peut être simplifié car il fait continuellement allusion à des significations plus profondes. C'est le côté du cinéma qui n'est jamais accommodant et toujours curieux, qui nous amène à nous interroger sur le sens de ce que nous voyons, écoutons, percevons.
Si vous regardez de plus près, vous verrez qu'il y a un côté obscur à tout. On le retrouve dans les contes populaires des frères Grimm, dans les visions fantastiques et apocalyptiques de Fritz Lang, dans les archétypes de la fiction narrative de Stephen King, dans les images inoubliables de Stanley Kubrick, dans les poèmes d'Homère comme dans l'épopée du Seigneur des Anneaux de Peter Jackson. Des Saintes Écritures à Game of Thrones, le côté obscur est la force motrice de toutes les formes d'art et le Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest en est l'icône cinématographique.

Torremolinos International Fantastic Film Festival has become in a few years in one the most important events at Costa del Sol (Spain). Place in the Torremolinos' exhibition and conference centre: theaters with 240 and 460 people capacity. Organized by the Cultural Association "Cinefans", the festival it's now a reference of innovate and transgresive ideas. It starts at Halloween (with its own Halloween night) and it includes galas, shows, horror movies marathons, charitable sessions, guests and honored films for their anniversary.
Le Festival international du film de Gáldar (FIC Gáldar) est l'un des festivals de films les plus importants des îles Canaries et a concentré dans chacune de ses éditions le meilleur du cinéma national et international. Organisé par le conseil municipal de Gáldar par l'intermédiaire de son conseil de la culture depuis 2013, ce festival propose un événement en direct avec des mesures sanitaires importantes pour garantir une sécurité et un confort complets.
À compter d'aujourd'hui, notre événement sera organisé aux dates initialement prévues. Nous suivons de près les règles et réglementations établies par le gouvernement espagnol et, comme nous espérons que les cinémas seront autorisés à pleine capacité avant notre événement, nous sommes également ouverts à ouvrir nos salles dans une capacité limitée si cela était obligatoire. Ainsi, ce festival ne fera aucune différence entre les thèmes, les formats ou les genres. Les inscriptions sont ouvertes à tous les types de longs et courts métrages. Nous cherchons à présenter le meilleur de l'art dramatique, de la comédie, de l'horreur, de la science-fiction, du fantastique, des thrillers/suspense, du noir, à la fois dans la fiction et le documentaire, à la fois dans l'action et dans l'animation. Le FIC s'engage en faveur du cinéma pour le cinéma, d'une véritable vision qui ne répond pas aux contraintes sociales, idéologiques ou formelles. Il s'agit essentiellement d'un festival de films sans frontières.
Enfin, le festival rendra également hommage à différentes personnalités de l'industrie cinématographique et organisera des ateliers et des activités parallèles.
JUNIORFEST est le deuxième plus grand festival de films pour enfants et jeunes publics en République tchèque. Il se tiendra dans six villes de la région de Pilsen, dont la métropole régionale de Pilsen, qui compte 170 000 habitants, a été élue capitale européenne de la culture en 2015. IndieFlicks is the UK's monthly film festival, supporting the best up and coming filmmakers from around the world. IndieFlicks is continuously growing, hosting simultaneous screenings in Manchester, London and Sheffield. We also host a repeat screening the following week in Liverpool.

How our monthly festival works…
Our Monthly Festival is a showcase of Short films from around the world, screening 50 minutes of short film in the first half, followed by our selected Feature Short in the second. We also host a Q&A with filmmakers able to attend and talks with local creatives.
At each event, two films will be selected to win either one of our awards:
The People’s Choice Award
The Directors Choice Award
Films included in the first half are nominated for our 'The People's Choice Award’; This is evidently voted for our audiences on the night and votes are calculated collectively from all of our venues.
In the second half of the night we host our 'Feature Short', one film no longer than 50 minutes. This is our headliner for the event. This film is awarded, ‘The Directors Choice Award’, one that our Judging panel felt deserves recognition.

Le 19e Festival International du Court Métrage Asiana (AISFF2021) est présenté par le Comité Exécutif de l'AISFF.
Né en 2009 afin de mettre en valeur et d'encourager l'expression artistique, le cinéma et l'identité culturelle de la région. Puerto Madero IFF is an online annual competition based of the technical execution of films.

At the end of each year we announced the official selection films based on their creativity and technical execution.
Our festival is ONLINE only at the moment, we are working hard to make an annual event with public screening.
All the Official Selections and Winner are posted in our Social Network with a growing audience of more than 4600 followers and also on our web site.
