Espacio Queer se constituye como un espacio cultural orientado por la teoría queer. Es un lugar de debate, reflexión y expresión artística que desarrolla actividades abiertas al público sobre diversidad sexual y género.
Nuestra búsqueda se focaliza en encontrar y difundir obras que expongan una mirada queer que no fije estereotipos sino que se abra a niveles de análisis y reflexión; donde el ser lesbiana, bisexual, gay, transexual o intersex no sea una pose, una moda, ni mucho menos una etiqueta, sino una identidad que se construye constantemente sin parámetros estáticos ni normados.
Situado en la ciudad de La Plata, el festival comprende proyecciones de largometrajes y cortos, secciones competitivas y muestras, charlas-debate, exposiciones pictóricas y fotográficas y recitales en vivo. En su 3° edición, Espacio Queer se realizará en noviembre del 2016.

Since its creation in 2007, Île Courts–International Short Film Festival in Mauritius acts as a tool-kit for the development of cinema in Mauritius. Non-competitive, Île Courts Festival is meant to be a showcase for cinema in Mauritius, taking us to a surprizing journey into world cinema, with a focus given on short films from the Indian Ocean area, at a crossroad between Africa and Asia. In 2018, Île Courts invites french-speaking and creole-speaking Filmmakers from the Caribbean and Pacific Islands to submit their films to the festival, therefore 36 territories are concerned by our call for films. Taratsa is an independent international short film festival based in Thessaloniki, Greece. It began in August 2014, integrated in the framework of “Thessaloniki European Youth Capital”. Its purpose is to create a framework for the promotion of independent short films from Greece and all over the world -by bringing the audience closer to the production and establishing a place and time for the substantial interaction and artistic expression between the creators- as well as to present films that are considered benchmarks in the history of cinema.
HorrorQuest Film Festival is Atlanta's FREE Horror Film Festival. Held each year at Cinefest Film Theatre, located on the Georgia State University campus. El cine negro es un tono, un punto de vista que recorre la casi totalidad de la historia del cine, un misterio planteado ya desde la primera década del cinematógrafo. Nuestras pesquisas indican que el cine negro es una etiqueta de naturaleza escurridiza capaz de aderezar otros géneros.

The East Coast Film Festival is an independent film festival for lovers of independent film. The festival is based at the Savoy Hotel on the Lincolnshire coast. Entry for students and Linconshire based films & filmmakers is free! ( proof required )
All film genres are accepted at the East Coast Festival with a focus on low budget independent films. Selected Film makers are invited to attend the screenings and awards ceremony on 3rd September. The selected films will also have the opportunity to be included in The East Coast Anthology DVD compilation which will be available exclusively through the East Coast Film Festival website with all proceeds donated to Starlight Children's charity.
El Festival de Cine de Montaña Ulsan Ulju (UMFF) es el primer festival internacional de cine de montaña de Corea del Sur, dedicado a presentar y promover películas y cultura relacionadas con las montañas, la aventura, la exploración, la naturaleza y el medio ambiente. El I Sirocortos Short Music Festival nace de la mano de la Sala Siroco y Cinema Oh! Culto y tiene como objetivo incentivar, difundir y promocionar aquellos cortometrajes en los que la MÚSICA sea una parte esencial de los mismos. Valorándose principalmente que la MÚSICA y las CANCIONES sean un elemento fundamental que ayude al desarrollo de la historia. También tendremos en cuenta los videoclips que desarrollen un hilo argumental.
La madrileña sala Siroco, con mas de 25 años dedicados a la música, acogió en 2014 las sesiones Cinema Oh!Culto, una propuesta que pretendía hacer de la proyección de un titulo más o menos maldito o ignoto del cine español una auténtica fiesta en la que la música también estuviera presente.
Dado que Cinema Oh!Culto gusta mucho del cine musical - de hecho casi todas las películas programadas han tenido un componente musical importante - y Siroco es un espacio fundamentalmente musical, cuando surgió la idea de convocar un concurso de cortometrajes, nos pareció que el género ideal para este proyecto que ponemos conjuntamente en marcha era EL MUSICAL.

Rules & Terms
ENTRY FEE FOR SUBMISSIONS OF FILMS:
(1) Entry fees for FEATURE FILMS (Duration: 50 mins to 105 mins max) : 5000/- INR or (63.23 USD)
(2) Entry fees for SHORT FILMS (Duration: 00.10 mins to 00.50 mins): 3,000/- INR or (36.27 USD)
(3) ANIMATION FILMS in all categories (Duration: 00.05 mins to 00.30 mins max).
(4) Entry fees for STUDENT FILMS: 1500/-INR or (21USD)
(LATE ENTRY FEES WILL BE DOUBLE THE ENTRY FEES MENTIONED ABOVE APPLICABLE TO FILMS SUBMITTED BEYOND THE DEADLINE ANNOUNCED)
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
1.Films without English Subtitles (except English Films), shall not be considered for selection.
2.Films submitted with watermarks or logos shall be rejected.
3.Only Trailers or promos cannot be submitted for selection process.
4.Film Download link with password is preferred, DVD or Bluray are also accepted as hard copies.
5.If submitting hard copies, Two full HD DVDs/Bluray should be sent by courier to the Festival office along with a hard copy of this entry form duly filled. DVDs must be labeled with film title, director name, duration, phone number and email id on them. Director pic, Poster, Film Stills may be attached in an email.
6. For submissions coming from outside India, the packages must be marked, “For Festival & Cultural Purpose only, No Commercial value”.
7. DIFF does not pay screening fees to film makers.
8. DIFF will not return the Films submitted online or vide DVDs/Pen Drives/ Blu-ray etc. during or after the festival.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. DIFF reserves the right to showcase the film so submitted perpetually anywhere ( other festivals, television, online etc).
2. DIFF reserves the right to include the film and related material in its promotional activities.
3. All Decisions made by the Appointed “Selection Committee” regarding Selections, screenings, awards at the Festival in entirety will be final. In case of Dispute, decision of the President is final.
4. The film makers and their representatives undertake to use the official logo and the status of their Selection or Award strictly in conformation with DIFF 2022 designs and they further undertake to use such festival logo in all their promotions, posters and marketing publications with the consent of the festival.
5. A film selected for the festival does not run in competition automatically. A Jury will select the films which feature in Competition.
6. The Festival shall not bear / reimburse any freight or other charges in foreign or Indian currency.
7. Once selected for screening, the film shall not be withdrawn.
8. The last date of submissions of ENTRIES IS 10.12.2024 and Date of Intimation of Selection will be 15.12.2024
