WHAT YOU MUST DO:
GIVE US THE SCREENER DOWNLOAD ACCESS LINK! It is very IMPORTANT
Festivals need access to films to be able to screen films. Without films screenings at festivals cannot take place. Hence, for participation we need the screener. Due to past bad experience, the data's long travelling distance from one continent to other during playback of films "on the fly" for example European in excess of 10,000km distance away from Australia, continuous and frequent frame freezes ocured during the event, the movies keeps stopping and starting as there was no continuous connection, low bandwidth and relatively slow speed (Australia has a slower internet than many countries around the world). Its a fact.
Nobody wants to watch a film that keeps stopping and starting.
This kind of technical glitch makes some films unwatchable, if played back from Vimeo, Festhome listing platform. Hence a screener download is a MUST be provided so it an be watched flawlessly, without interruptions, and without getting skipping, lagging frames etc. Thank you for your understanding. CIFF Admin

Colortape International Film Festival is a privately owned, multicultural film festival promoting worldwide arts & culture through films, while bridging cultural differences, friendship, showcasing the creative vision of filmmakers from over the world. We are strong advocates and promoters of peace, love, friendship and mutual respect. One of very few festivals, if not the only one, to guaranteed acceptance, entry and certification for every filmmaker! Over 5324 filmmakers were rewarded in the past 8/9 years!
Dedicated mainly for international entries who would like to showcase their work to the Australian audience. Offering a transparent and culturally un-biased selection. Opening the door to those who normally get rejected or are unfairly disqualified based on difference in culture.
Local Australian filmmakers, based within our shores or outside can also participate.
We acknowledge that there are many more options available to local filmmakers, we noted in the past that many Australian films also do not get any or the right recognition and acceptance from local film festivals. They ought to be recogised. Even if there are better quality with larger budgets films entered from overseas. We would still like to reward everyone for their hard work, and creative nature.
Colortape is a film competition and film festival offering an Indoor/Outdoor screening opportunity , when possible, to showcase filmmakers work, and reward everyone towards the end of the competitive season.
Colortape festival was nominated as one of the most prestigious and recognized film festivals in the Southern hemisphere & possibly being one of Asia-Pacific's largest multicultural film competition by the number of annual admissions and FREE for the community in Australia.
In 2016, and 2017, 2018 nominated again for a 3rd year in a row for the "Access Community Services Cultural Diversity Award" by state government of Queensland, Regional Achievement and Community Awards.
Our festival endeavours to connect & bridge diverse cultural backgrounds from every corner of the world, whilst providing a sound platform for filmmakers to compete, showcase their work and be rewarded (recognition certified) at the same time, and offered an intimate festival where filmmakers and the audience can share & promote friendship and peace, to be engaged in the art of film and cinema.

The tiniest bee hummingbird flits up to five hundred miles in its one continuous flight. Our festival, Hummingbird International Short Film Festival, represents this small bird's ardent determination of transcending boundaries, cooing over the confluences of divergent cultures. Our predominant motto is to seek out vehement, vogue, pertinent short films from across the globe and to showcase the narratives that resonate surpassing geographical lines.
In 2021 - 1st edition, Hummingbird officially collaborated with the British Council and received a BFI Flare package. The festival accepted 150+ films from 30+ countries across the globe. Last year, the festival authorities focused on the LGBTQ category including curated children's films, a few premiers, and a BFI Flare Package but this year they brought more than just one category on the platter.
2nd edition (2022) the film festival has officially partnered with Alliance Française to showcase the best of cinematic narratives for the viewers. It received 200+ films from more than 43 different countries in various categories. The film festival has officially selected 50+ films in exclusive categories including Fiction, LGBTQ+, Animation, Documentary, Video Art, and Human Rights. In 2022 we screened Nauha at the opening which was officially selected at La Cinef of the Cannes Film Festival, 2022. Hummingbird ended with the Clermont Ferrand Special Jury award-winning closing film “La Traction Des Poles” curated by Alliance Française.
Much like the little migratory bird Hummingbird is determined to evolve into a platform for viewers and budding filmmakers. The Hummingbird’s vision is to create a space for all, as the festival founder/ director Rajan Nath said, “The festival’s vision is to strike a rich cultural exchange and give audiences access to global cinema and its subsequent cultural pandora. We also aim to support the representation of indigenous cinema and help young filmmakers understand how international audiences see it.”
HIFF is aware that cinema holds a universal language and that is why they are motivated to provide you with the purest experience of watching global narratives. At our Third edition, we're all set to welcome shorts from all over the world. Bring in your beautiful little wonders.

On one side, the festival tries to promote the idea of film as a medium which can provoke philosophical thought and illustrate philosophical ideas. On the other, it aims to trigger aesthetical analysis’ and investigations into film language as a form sui generis and empower young filmmakers and film workers to reflect on key concepts, questions and ideas in order to translate them into the visual language of cinema. It is a pioneering festival of the kind in Macedonia and the region, and one of few in the world connecting film and philosophy.

AMOR International LGBT+ Film Festival is the first international film festival in Santiago of Chile focused on the subject of sexual and gender diversity, of independent and competitive nature. The seventh edition of AMOR Festival will take place from June 27th to July 2nd, 2023, in a hybrid format, with digital and physical screenings and activities specifically at national territory.
As in every edition, the festival is proposed as an inclusive space where the programme invites different sectors of society to approach cinema focused on LGBT+ themes (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transsexuals and all sexual, identity and gender diversities); a safe space for the community in which they can participate, make visible, identify and share. AMOR Festival has positioned itself as an event of high artistic quality that seeks to exhibit the most interesting and unique national and foreign titles that expose diversity, as well as outstanding films that have won awards at world-renowned festivals; and as a space where programming is structured based on gender equality in competitions and activities, giving visibility to women filmmakers.
Love is totally transverse to any sexuality, so with AMOR Festival we hope to contribute to the inclusion of sexual diversity, to strengthen understanding and to celebrate the visibility of sexualities through the seventh art.

We look for stories that allow us to generate new readings and discourses about older people, beyond the conventional representations that are usually associated with this stage of life.
La GRAN pantalla seeks to delve into topics such as the sexuality of older people, the digital divide, unwanted loneliness, palliative care, intergenerational dialogues, cohousing, LGBTIQ+ older people, dignified death, migrant older people and all the visions that this population group may have about contemporary social problems such as the climate crisis, demographic change, new forms of families and organization, international conflicts, urban planning, art and social change, etc.
The seventh edition of this contest will take place from 30 June to 4 July 2026 in the city of Barcelona with a showing in Mollet del Vallès and Sabadell (Catalonia).

Two years have elapsed since the first lock-in that we will remember as a collective, which presupposes that humanity has learned to re/look and re/think the world it inhabits, or at least that is what we thought when we could not leave our homes. A look of hope and change mixed with a feeling that the world would end.
Today, after so much, we meet again, with more questions and with a new look to re/think our daily landscapes, what surrounds us? with what eyes are we seeing the world after the quarantine? Today we only have questions, uncertainties for the future: do you know what sounds surround you? what is your daily flora? The spaces we inhabit and the things we relate to.
The idea of this project was born from a filmed correspondence between friends, which allowed us, from a new sensibility, to tell each other our daily experiences and what we have felt during our quarantine.
This experience of creation from the intimacy, without pretensions or unnecessary artifices, but from the feeling and the desire to share, helped to discover the poetic potential of the environments that surround us.
The correspondences are based on the exchange of ideas that allow us to observe the world of the other. They allow us to discover the geographical universe that we inhabit and that unites us when we are motivated to share these sensations.
The filmed correspondences is a format that allows filmmakers, artists to tell in a very artisanal way their way of looking at the world.
