Since 2013, the International Human Rights Film Festival – Colombia has offered audiences an audiovisual, cultural, and academic program that contributes to audience development, the strengthening of the film and cultural industries, the creation of spaces for dialogue around life, reconciliation, the promotion and defense of human rights, and the construction of ideas for peace.
The Festival is the ideal platform for Colombia’s and the international film community committed to storytelling with a human rights perspective. It serves as a key space for the promotion, circulation, distribution, and exhibition of audiovisual works with limited commercial demand due to their social and thematic focus.
The Festival takes place simultaneously in the cities of Barranquilla, Medellín, Cali, Bogotá, Manizales, Pereira and Quibdó, as well as in about twenty municipalities across the country.
The Iridescent Guadix International Film Festival. Was created with the aim of promoting diversity, inclusion, and visibility through film.
From the city of Guadix, gateway to the Granada Geopark, this event will offer a space for exhibition, training, and dialogue around cinema, highlighting national and international works. The first edition of the La Spezia Film Festival took place in 2016, with the aim of creating and growing a festival that combines research with attention to the tastes of the public, with the awareness that cultural participation also produces social and economic repercussions, which constitute an added value for the territories.
Organized by Cut-up Publishing and Associazione Cinema e Cultura, with the patronage of the Municipality of La Spezia, the artistic direction is entrusted to the director Paola Settimini and the screenwriter Paolo Logli. Over the years, the Santa Fe de Antioquia Film Festival has sought to bring cinema closer to the public through workshops, conferences, a central screening of films according to the theme, and training workshops. These activities are designed not only for the inhabitants of the municipality of Santa Fe de Antioquia, but also for inhabitants of Medellín and other inhabitants of western Antioquia and in general for university students, specialized journalists, filmmakers in training, film critics, producers, filmmakers and film lovers who for twenty-three years add up to an annual average of 15,000 festival attendees.

The F.I.C.Y (International Film Festival of Yopal) is an event that will take place from October 2nd to 6th, 2025 in the city of Yopal, located in the department of Casanare, Colombia. The main objective of this festival is to promote regional, national, and international film production and to strengthen the region as a center for the seventh art.
The festival aims to foster circular economy around audiovisual production, generating greater employment opportunities and economic development in the region.
