The AX International Audiovisual Short Film Show aims to disseminate short films (documentaries, fiction, animations and experimental) for all ages, children and adolescents, young people and adults, which present as a central or relevant element such as gender relations and sexualities. Thus, short films that show intertwining between gender and sexualities with other markers such as social class, race and ethnicity, generation, disability, migration, are very welcome.
The Show also includes a multitude of themes that can cross issues such as life trajectories, violence against women, masculinities, fatherhood, motherhood, eroticism, corporeality, LGBTQIAphobias, sexual exploitation, sexual and reproductive rights and processes of resistance and struggle of women and subject LGBTQIA +, as well as a multitude of fields of sociopolitical life such as the State, capital, coloniality, politics, human rights, education, work, health, culture, public policies, among others.
In recent editions, many short films have been produced and selected that portray more general themes, of collective interest, in the field, for example, of indigenous rights, land, housing or the defense of democracy. So this year, realizing that such productions only enrich, densify and pluralize our Curta o Gênero, we formally opened for submissions of short films of this nature, which will be produced in specials.

The 9th Ajayu International Animation Festival is a cultural event organized by Sapa Inti Studios and the Ajayu Cinematographic Association. For the ninth consecutive year, it stands as the only animation festival in Peru, carrying out hybrid film and educational activities from the highest point of the Peruvian highlands to the world.
This event, which also includes various cultural activities, has become a crucial event for the Animation industry in our country over the years, also promoting the cultural and tourist industry in the southern region of Peru. Additionally, through our in-person activities, we aim to boost tourism in our region by creating a tourist route with a cultural and historical focus.
This year's festival will take place from October 2 to October 5, 2024, renewing the commitment to showcase the artistic expression of animation.
Participants include artists from the animated audiovisual field and other disciplines, from the Puno region, Peru, and various countries around the world, who through their expression make each edition a contemporary Andean experience.
The Barcelona Olympic Foundation, with the support of the Barcelona City Council, organizes the BCN Sports Film 2025 – 15th BARCELONA INTERNATIONAL FICTS FESTIVAL and forms part of the WORLD FICTS CHALLENGE 2025.
The BCN Sports Film 2025 will be held in Barcelona from 17th to 25th February 2025. This fifteenth edition of the Festival will have a competitive nature.
The fifteenth edition of the festival will have a hybrid format so, there will be face-to-face screenings and online screenings. The rights that the authors assign, therefore, are both for the face-to-face sessions that are held in the official venues of the contest, as well as for the sessions that will be held online through an online platform.
These Rules & Regulations have been approved by the BCN Sports Film 2025 Organising Committee. Your taking part in BCN Sports Film 2025 implies the total acceptance of these regulations.
Cabane A Sang (Blood Shed) is a Film Festival, TV Show on a French Horror station in Canada & a Road Cinema based out of Montreal. C.a.S celebrates Horror, Scifi and Trash cinema. "Blood Shed" aims to bring back the vibes of grindhouse cinemas where you can catch an obscure flick, have a beer, laugh and have a good time.

The GRITO QUEER Film Festival is a first cinema show dedicated exclusively to films of fantastic genre referring to queer horror (horror, thrillers, trash, gore, b-movies, fantasy, science fiction) held in the city of São Paulo-BR. Its first edition will take place from October 25 to 31, 2021 on the Cinebrac platform (https://cinebrac.com.br/), showing contemporary audiovisual works and historical rescue related to the themes of the queer genre.
O Festival de Cinema GRITO QUEER é a primeira mostra de cinema dedicada exclusivamente a filmes de gênero fantástico referentes ao horror queer (horror, thrillers, trash, gore, b-movies, fantasia, ficção científica) realizada em São Paulo-BR. In 2018, Almagro International Film Festival -AIFF- born with the aim of establishing a useful platform for the promotion of the audiovisual industry: a space and time for dissemination and promotion of audiovisual content, transforming the city of Almagro into a meeting point for filmmakers, favoring the exchange of initiatives and promoting a market open to the development of new projects.
AIFF will provide a showcase for the most interesting short format projects done within the last recent months, constituting an standard of quality and high level of commitment to the society & culture of Audiovisual Arts. El Festival muestra trabajos donde tanto el contenido como la técnica son de alta calidad y han sido premiados a nivel internacional en anteriores Festivales. Previa selección de las películas por la organización del Festival, un jurado formado por expertos en el ámbito cinematográfico, así como defensores de Derechos Humanos y del ámbito educativo, serán los encargados de puntuar y entregar los premios.

Ojo al Piojo! International Children's Film Festival is organized by the Rosario Audiovisual Center of the Ministry of Culture and Education of the Municipality of Rosario. The eleventh edition will be held from August 18 to 21, 2022 in the city of Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.
Ojo al Piojo! it is part of the public policies that the city of Rosario offers for children, protecting and guaranteeing the right to access cultural property, in accordance with the International Convention on the Rights of Children and Adolescents.
Promotes the exhibition of quality short and feature films understanding in this concept that cinematographic resources (script, photography, editing, performances) must be appropriate for children; the themes and interests are representative, the story and the narrative treatment is attractive and interpele as well as the language, appropriate to the age of the target audience. We´ve created the CINEFANTASY - INTERNATIONAL FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL. Encouraging, debating and divulging fantastic cinema and their universe. We present in these fourteen editions 1.336 films, 73 training activities, 5.595 films and an audience of more than 90 thousand people.
The 15th CINEFANTASY will happen at São Paulo, September 15th to 23th, with a program divided into exhibitions, parallel shows and training activities.
We hope you toast and celebrate the magic of this wonderful and fantastic universe with us!

We are thrilled to be launching our fourth Paus Premieres Festival, which will be taking place over the duration of autumn and winter this year. 5) EXCITING COMPETITION SYSTEM - ACTUAL CHANCE
A sports-like competition system. We want an exciting event for our audience and your fans. The Jury gives a new rating to films after every round.
Phase 1 - 100 films are selected every MONTH for the Film Olympiad Grand Prix. All of them are eligible for nominations and medals. We have 6 bi- monthly Film Olympiad Grand Prix every year and an annual Film Olympiad.
Phase 2 - The films are divided into 20 groups of 5. The best films from each group qualify for the knockouts. The audience can watch live the results of the rating in each group, through online live streams with online screenings of some films.
Phase 3 - 32 films get paired in knockouts. This means that if you win 5 matches (Rounds of 32, 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Final), you win the Best Short Gold Medal and the monthly cash prize.
Phase 4 - At least the best 8 films from each month are publicly screened in monthly screenings with a live audience and qualify for the annual Film Olympiad.

The forth edition of the Hurlingham Film Festival will take place from October 31 to November 3, 2024 at the Leopoldo Marechal Cultural Center (Av. Gdor. Vergara 2396) in the city of Hurlingham, with free admission.
The festival aims to promote culture and film production both in the city of Hurlingham and in the rest of the country.
The FESTIHUR will host a new space in the audiovisual universe with the intention of giving visibility and synergy between the number of actors in the new city, revealing identity, diversity and future.
