Nišville Foundation organizer of famous Nišville Jazz Festival which was rated as one of best jazz festivals in a world according to British magazine The Guardian. Last 8 years within the festival was Nišville Movie stage that becomes Nišville Movie Summit this year.
Nišville Movie Summit wants to bring together filmmakers of short and long movies to present them on a summit. Through this summit, we want to fuse jazz music and movies.
Competition: 8 will include feature films, 12 documentaries, 16 feature films and 20 silent films.
Feature films and silent films will be limited to thirty minutes duration, while the documentaries will be shown regardless of the playing time. The criteria will be linked on the one hand the aesthetic level of these films, and on the other - their authentic connections with jazz music.
Silent films with musical accompaniment pianist: Films that have been produced by Academy students accompanied by pianists and other musicians (movies will be obtained through the academies and art faculties). Authors can submit scores or to pianists, following action film Music improvise on the spot. These films should encourage creativity among students who produce movies about existence, and with the musicians who have an obligation to music "follow" developments on the canvas. The compound of creativity in both art, creating new kind creation.
In an exhibition part of Nišville Movie Summit will present a selection of some, a wider range of viewers, known movies (Django, La La Land, Bird, Mo Better Blues, Round Midnight, Born to be Blue, Miles Away, Artist ...) who meet the criteria for participation in the festival. As in any major film festivals, there is a possibility that some of these films are shown in the official program, but it does not compete for festival awards, because the idea of the festival "Movie Nišville Summit" is to find a new author values in domestic and world cinema when comes to the permeation of the film and jazz. Films that have received significant international awards are to be presented at the festival, but two awards at the festival, in this respect, would not bring anything significantly new
Semillero Green Film Fest 2020 es la 10º edición del Concurso Nacional de Cortometrajes de Temática Ambiental. Su objetivo principal es fomentar la creatividad y apoyar la realización nacional independiente de obras audiovisuales cuyo contenido esté referido a la temática ambiental.

The FIFFLONDON is a monthly festival with yearly live screening in London that awards the best movies from every corner of the planet.
The winners of the monthly edition will automatically enter the annual competition, free of charge.
We strongly believe that every movie is the result of hard work and, as such, they deserve our jury’s full attention during the evaluation and the best works deserve our acknowledgment and appreciation.
The selected movies, as well as the winners, will receive a golden laurel wreath, which can be used in advertising material.

FIFFLONDON is a monthly film competition. Each month, our Jury will award the best films through private screenings. The Best Picture monthly winners will compete in December 2021 for the Best of Fest award (best film of the year). FIFFLONDON’s annual judging team will select the winners in all the main categories, such as Narrative Film, Documentary and Animation.
As a part of this festival occurs every month, there are more chances to hang the golden laurel on your favourite movies!

The Grand Rapids Feminist Film Festival (GRFFF) is celebration dedicated to elevating voices and showcasing talent from historically underrepresented groups in mainstream media.
Our mission is to:
● Bring awareness to the lack of diverse representation in front of and behind the camera
● Inspire and empower media creators of underrepresented and marginalized groups to engage in filmmaking as a feminist act
● Examine media through the intersecting lenses of gender, sexuality, race, ability, class, age, etc.
● Cultivate a welcoming safe space that fosters cross-cultural understanding
Now in its sixth year, the GRFFF was originally the brainchild of independent publisher The Bandit Zine as a film version of their magazine. What started as a small evening showcase has now grown into an all-day festival that includes interactive workshops and panels, performances by local artists, and films screened from around the world.
This year, the festival will be held at Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids. We'll be hosting speakers, a drag show and upwards of 30 short films

The 3nd edition of "MOVIEMMECE - Cinefestival of Biodiversity of Food and Cultures" will be held in Naples, Italy, in October 2019.
The contest can be attended by Italian autors and filmmakers under 35 who realized a short movie about food topic. Food should be understood as a vehicle for cultural exchange and for research into social, environmental, cultural, ecological or civil issues. The winner will receive a prize of 1000 Euros. More prizes will be assigned by juries composed by schools and cinema students. The partecipation in the contest is free of charge.
The festival aims to sensitize the target abut the food topic as a very relevant social and ecological issue, connected with human rights, biodiversity conservation and ecological sustainability of human productions. So, the young film makers selected by the Festival will be invited in Naples during the screening days, for public screening of their works and meeting with the public, institutions exponent and other young and senior film makers, to share and compare their works.

Most Festival is an annual event that aims to showcase the best international audiovisual work linked to viniculture, wine and cava. At the same time, the festival aims to make a toast for good cinema by projecting unreleased films by great authors.

Mobile Short Film Festival is a festival of short films created with the aim of promoting the audiovisual production of films in a non-professional and youth.
This festival is an initiative part of a final degree project and aims to reach young people through a new medium: the Internet. Moreover, it is a creative proposal with very specific premises that put technical possibilities of the participants on the same level.
We know that creating a short film is a job that takes time and a lot of dedication, but we want to know what you are able to do 72 hours, a mobile phone and a particular title. CATACUMBA UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL is a cultural, handcrafted and resistant project that since the year 2000 is developed in the Valencian municipality of Godella and that uses as a backbone the projection of recent audiovisual works that coexist during the celebration of this peculiar festival.
In its 17th edition, the festival aims to collect independent film proposals that offer an alternative perspective created from the transversality that filmic language allows. Works that in some way subvert morality, dismantle repressions, our philias and phobias and that evidence the structural defects of the society in which we live. On the margins of the entertainment industry we will find proposals that can lead us towards different models of expression that allow the narrative cinema to return to the expressive category that it seeks to invite reflection. The NY Dog Film Festival premieres in NYC and then travels to many cities in the US and Canada annually. It is a collection of short films that celebrate the remarkable bond between dogs and their people. Animal shelters and rescue organizations receive a portion of proceeds in each city. Films must have a canine theme.
We welcome submissions of films of any length (preferably less than 30 minutes) whether narrative, animated or documentary, as long as they have a canine subject matter. Bucharest Film Awards promotes short and feature films from around the world with 18 awards in 3 categories. Only films accepted in our Official Selection are eligible to screenings.
All submitted films will be reviewed by a jury of film professionals, that will look for creativity, talent, powerful ideas, quality and attention to details, regardless of the experience of those involved in the creation process and the budget of the submitted works.
The Film Competition will be a 3-day event that will include thematic workshops, live screening events, industry talks and networking cocktails.
In addition to the Film Competition, we created Spotlight with the aim of better promoting the best submitted projects. We will screen the best 10 films submitted in the first 6 months of the year.
In today’s film climate it is hard to showcase short films. Many festivals focus on features and it seems like this art of shorts is dwindling to silly videos about kittens on the internet. Even though we love kittens (who doesn’t?) here at the Short. Sweet. Film Fest., we love short films more.
With eight festivals under our belt, our goal for our ninth annual film festival is to showcase films under 30 minutes to the growing art scene in the greater Cleveland area and highlight the works of student to veteran filmmakers across the country.
Students should submit to the short student film category to receive a significant discount off of the submission fee.

Our festival will take place in the Alex Theater at the Metropolitan at the 9 hotel in the heart of downtown Cleveland. Filmmakers and patrons can stay at the hotel at a discounted rate and enjoy food and beverages throughout the festival.
