The International Silent Film Festival wants to celebrate the possibilities of cinema as an art of entertainment, education and emancipation of the public, reclaiming the narratives of glances, dramatic gestures, musical accompaniment and even the importance of intertitles for contemporary filmmakers to be inspired.
Transhumant Festival is an engaged cinema event to do the social transformation.
It aims to reach audiences far away from culture, both geographically and by social circumstances to make them participants and show topics that concern society and that are not sufficiently disseminated in movie theatres, media or usual audiovisual distribution channels.
It will showcase national and international cinematographic works and photojournalism reportages that focus on:
- Social, political, environmental, mountain, journalistic or historical research.
- Showing some form of activism in favour of human rights and respect for the environment.
- Valuing positive human relations and diversity of cultures.
- Valuing the equity between women and men.
Born in 2009 in order to highlight and encourage artistic expression, film and cultural identity of the region. Promoting the permanence of cultures and strengthening the cultural policies of the city as a mechanism for citizen and community participation; thus supporting the development, exhibition and dissemination of film and the visual arts in the city of Guadalajara de Buga and Valle del Cauca; proposing dialogue between the various expressions of art today and their participation mechanisms mainly in the youth population. This festival seeks to create spaces for discussion, artistic and audiovisual creation in a participatory manner.
The festival became the first event of its kind in this area, for display, training, capacity building and collective on the subject of film and visual arts in Guadalajara de Buga and Valle del Cauca.
FESTIFAL is an International Short Film Festival whose main topic is rural areas; it is held every two years in Urrea de Gaén (Spain).
In order to energize the cultural atmosphere in the region, Bajo Martín Study Center proposed in 2009 the organization of an International Short Film Festival of rural themes.
This presents other realities and rural environments different from ours in different parts of the planet, through documentary and fiction films.
This project was born with the idea of combining cinema with rural environment and bringing it closer to the inhabitants of the region and to the general public. The festival has been consolidating edition after edition, increasing its importance within the circuit of festivals. Each year the number of proposals received increases, mostly short films of great quality sent from all parts of the world.
Festival has become, over the years, an inescapable event within the cultural agenda of the region. It has become very successful, with a high level of attendance, and a great number of public viewers come to see the finalist works throughout the contest.

THE DATES OF THE EVENT ARE PROVISIONAL FOR THE MOMENT.
Here we go again for a new edition of the French Riviera Motorcycle Film Festival. The period may seem strange to do it but we need time to organize everything. We were lucky to be spared and the last edition of the Festival could take place just before the confinement. But that doesn't mean that everything will be all right. We are fully aware that funding for the 2021 edition will be very difficult to raise. As with every crisis, culture is the first to suffer from budget cuts. Funding, whether public or private, will certainly be reduced and we’ll have to find solutions. Nevertheless, we are opening today and until October 31, 2020 the registration period for filmmakers who wish to participate in the Festival. The next edition will take place in February or March 2021, but we cannot give you a more precise date at this time.

FESTIVAL NACIONAL DE CINE Y VIDEO COMUNITARIO DEL DISTRITO DE AGUABLANCA - FESDA
The central theme of this edition is "Territories, showing resistance".
This theme seeks to generate debate and thought about the processes of resistance that are taking place in Colombia regarding the care and dignification of the territories. We start from the relationship of body and territory, and we claim that in that exercise of counting our territories (those we inhabit and those that forced us to leave) and the struggles that are in them, we are revealing resistances.

Oregon Scream Week is a Horror genre independent international film festival for Horror Films and Horror Comedy Films in Portland, Oregon. We had our first Oregon Scream Week Film Festival in February 2018 and it was a huge success. People travelled from China, Japan, South Korea, Canada and from all over the US to our screenings of 54 Horror Short Films. There is an appetite for films, especially in the Northwest, that make people scream, freak out and get their hearts racing. That is why we created Oregon Scream Week. Would you like to screen your film for an audience that appreciates horror films and other dark genres? Many of the “mainstream” festivals out there may not appreciate your film or screenplay in ways that our panel of twelve judges is looking for. Sick humor, twisted stories, psychotic thrillers and horrifying moments are our specialty. Is your film ready for a theatrical release in Portland, Oregon? Please take a look at our awards list, we have plenty of opportunities for the creativity of your film or screenplay to be acknowledged. Our website is full of pictures from the last event. Every screening was sold out for the main screen and on opening night required 2 screens running at the same time.
