La sesta edizione del CinemAvvenire Film Festival porta avanti e consolida la dimensione internazionale e spiccatamente europea dell’Associazione Centro Internazionale CinemAvvenire, un progetto condotto con determinazione e entusiasmo da oltre 20 anni dietro l’iniziale input, nel 1992, di Gillo Pontecorvo.
Lumière marca uno scatto ulteriore dell’iniziativa festivaliera; l'edizione precedente ha ospitato 100 lungometraggi e 200 cortometraggi da tutto il mondo (60 Paesi diversi). Tutti gli strumenti della macchina del Festival sono a disposizione della scoperta e l’esplorazione di nuovi linguaggi e talenti, la tentazione mai sazia di dar voce al carattere innovativo e spesso indipendente della nuova produzione internazionale cinematografica.
Abbiamo creato una rete di festival cinematografici europei tesa ad aumentare la visibilità delle opere europee in Europa. I film presentati nell'edizione 2014 sono ancora proiettati in UK, Bulgaria, Croazia e Romania e nuovi partner stanno aderente alla rete
Quest’anno, alla dimensione temporale, si aggiunge un definitivo carattere spaziale che contrassegna l’ambizione reale di questa quinta edizione. Con il privilegio del “senno di poi” abbiamo imparato che un mondo globalmente connesso, informato e alleato non comporta un confuso melting pot delle culture al suo interno. La difesa e la salvaguardia delle culture regionali non disperde, bensì incentiva, le dinamiche di collaborazione globale, arricchendo e proteggendo allo stesso tempo la/le nostre identità di cittadini del mondo a diversi livelli. Questo binomio non banale è testimoniato dal motto europeo “uniti nella diversità”.
C’è un animale che per natura unisce diversi tipi di caratteristiche che lo rendono unico nel suo genere: l’ornitorinco. Questo guazzabuglio faunistico ha il becco da anatra ma la coda da roditore, le zampe da rettile nonostante sulla carta sia un mammifero con la irragionevole capacità di deporre uova. La sua capacità di rimanere integro di fronte alla diversità delle sue parti lo rende libero da ogni categoria zoologica e al contempo guardiano di una identità unica e preziosa.
In questo senso l’ornitorinco rappresenta la logica del nostro festival, il nostro modo di difendere l’identità, sapendo che il dialogo e il confronto rafforzano e non demoliscono la nostra unicità.
PLAY è il primo festival cinematografico portoghese, dedicato esclusivamente a bambini e adolescenti, determinato a promuovere l'accesso alla cultura per un pubblico più giovane attraverso il cinema e la proiezione di film per un pubblico di età compresa tra 1 e 16 anni.
Il Museo Romano di Oiasso e il Comune di Irun organizzano il Festival Internazionale del Cinema Archeologico della Bidasoa.
L'obiettivo del Festival è presentare l'archeologia al grande pubblico, attraverso la diffusione di materiale audiovisivo frutto del lavoro svolto dagli archeologi, assicurando la promozione e la diffusione di questi film.

Nel corso degli anni, il festival è diventato una celebrazione dell'animazione per bambini e adulti. Gli eventi si svolgono in tutti i centri regionali della Bielorussia.

Il festival si svolgerà sul canale pay tv Morbido TV, online, un drive-in e si spera nei teatri, nel pieno rispetto delle linee guida sanitarie di Città del Messico.
A causa della pandemia e delle attuali restrizioni sanitarie non saremo in grado di ospitare ospiti internazionali o nazionali, ma sottolineiamo che tutte le nostre proiezioni saranno accompagnate da Q/A Sessions con i registi della nostra selezione. Queste sessioni saranno trasmesse su Morbido TV e la sua app durante il festival.
