The Delhi International Film Festival Academy Awards is organized in various parts of the world annually, to recognize, honor and encourage excellence in Indian Cinema. The vast cultural and geographical diversities in India contribute to an eclectic and heady mixture of popular and art cinema in every region. Indian Film Industry has always been an amalgamation of Regional and Hindi Film Industry - both thriving uniquely as well as blending beautifully into a symbiotic relationship. DIFFAA attempts to bring under one roof and on one stage, Regional cinema as well as the famed Bollywood from India, and award artistic and technical brilliance in films released during the previous calendar year.
WHY IS DIFFA UNIQUE

4. DIFFA Awards will also present awards to the films made by the Host Country. An Advisory Board will recommend the films released during the year which shall be considered for Awards. Films so selected will also be screened during the DIFFA screening events.

The festival is approved by the INFORMATION & BROADCASTING MINISTRY and works as a composite body to promote INDIAN CINEMA, CULTURE AND TOURISM in INDIA and ABROAD.
DIFF has now grown into a global platform joining hands to collaborate with a multitude of film festivals in many countries or offering support to a host of upcoming festivals across the world. DIFF aims at understanding the science, art and emotion behind cinema, reaching it out to the audiences far and wide and promoting Indian Cinema, Art and Culture. The Festival offers premier showcase opportunity for talented film makers and artists, celebrates AVANTE GARDE CINEMA, felicitates masters and achievers from all walks of life and brings countries closer by building bridges to enable cross cultural exchanges, social understanding and creative idealization.

Also with this 11th DIFF 2024 is going to showcase 193 films from more than 58 countries and about 100 works of art displayed at the Art Show. Film Personalities, Artists, Diplomats, Political dignitaries and audiences close to 5000, will witness the spectacular Opening Ceremony, Closing & Awards Event and savor the vast variety of films screened during the festival.
With the focus on African Cinema , DIFF will screen some very interesting films.
Information & Broadcasting Ministry and NDMC offered invaluable support and association for this edition of DIFF as in the earlier editions. Jharkhand, Assam, UP-Film Bandhu, Uttrakhand became the State and Tourism Partner and ARGENTINA AND SENEGAL are the Country Partners this year.
International Film Festival "Prvi kadar"/First Frame is an important film event in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose mission is to promote film art of authors from all over the world. The Festival is of competitive character neither. Films compete in two categories: documentary and short films.
Fifteen editions of the festival, a large number of authors interested in the festival, proving that the festival recognized among artists all over the world, as an important and prestigious film event.
Festival selections confirm continuity, primarily artistic approach, on which is built the whole idea of the first frame. In considering the relationship between themes and ideas, stress is given to the author's attitude or an artistic idea.
Rich noncompetitive and competitive program of high artistic quality, educational programs, lectures DokMasterClass, Film Campus of art documentaries, exhibitions, promotion of book of film art, numerous guests from the world of film, proof that the festival from year to year expanding, enriching the content of the program. Seoul International ALT Cinema & media arts Festival (NeMaf) is the annual festival that shows media-based art with innovative spirit in its themes and forms.
The types of works we show include single-channel video arts, media arts, documentaries, found-footage films, essay films, experimental films, and so on. It takes place at multiple cinemas around Seoul.
It has been founded and showcased more than 2,000 media-based works and discovered 1,000 artists since it was founded in 2000.
NeMaf now opens for submissions and seeks innovative films and media art works.

The "Festival Cortos para Tiempos largos" is a proposal for the training, creation and circulation of audiovisual content carried out by young Colombians since 2020 with a clear purpose, to connect people and stories. The festival is not looking for winners, it is conceived as a space for the dissemination and visibility of audiovisual products, carried out for academic and non-profit purposes, where all those who wish to be part of a great story can participate.

As we strongly believes that Media in our society can be reshaped to have a stronger positive impact on our society, If we educate and empower more Women to work in the medium, take part and active involvement in ownership of the industry, and educate the people on these issues. We at Women Director Film Carnival wants to shine a light on Women being overlooked for jobs with the lack of equal opportunity that is given in the Film and Television industry and create conversations and opportunities for Women to develop an industry that has equal opportunity.

Montevideo Fantastic Film Festival is the first Uruguayan festival dedicated to promoting national and international film productions related to horror, fantasy and science fiction genres. Its objective is to annually present independent and ultra-independent creations that are often considered "minor", and that hardly access commercial and cultural circuits.

LGBT Film Festival and Screenplay Competition.
We are looking for FILMS and SCREENPLAYS with an LGBT theme to be part of the New Renaissance Film Festival, which will take place in Amsterdam, next April 2021.
THE NEW RENAISSANCE
The spacious cinema LAB111 will again be the home of the New Renaissance Film Festival (NRFF) for its fifth edition on 9-11 April 2021.
This friendly arthouse festival which is based in London, and was called “One of the UK’s top film festivals” (London METRO, O1.08.16, has premiered and screened films that went on to win an Oscar (http://newrenaissancefilmfest.com/nrff-interviews-oscar-2018-winners-the-silent-child), or received a major distribution deal.
Despite its small size, there are each year many gems to be found among the many short and feature films, and many filmmakers and actors are traditionally present and a lot of networking takes place.
Film is a unique medium, and NRFF’s mission is to support and champion inspiring, independent artists and storytellers. This includes experimental work, emotional drama, SF films and an exciting variety of LGBT+ shorts and features. The festival is also proud that it seems to attract a high number of female directors.

NRFF Amsterdam has several categories for International, Benelux and LGBT filmmakers. We especially love quality dramas with strong emotional themes, but we accept ALL genres.
We will screen around 100 films in two cinemas over the course of four days. This event includes a screenwriting competition, professional MASTER CLASSES by industry professionals, Filmmaker Q&A's, Panel Discussions, a fun COCKTAIL HOUR and AWARDS CEREMONY. The festival will be open to the public and ticket sales will be announced on the website in due course.

Lisbon 1st Timers is opening call to all debut filmmakers. The winners of all five categories will be screened in our main event: an outdoor film night right at the heart of Lisbon, in July 2021.
The best film winner will deserve the privilege of being screened together with a well established portuguese director's work. The two film screening will open a live debate about the two different stages of life and career.
This cultural proposal takes place within the framework of the commemoration of a new anniversary of Punta del Este, celebrating the best independent cinema from around the world. It began as a Mercosur cinema and grew to become an international festival. LATINUY, Uruguay's International Latin Film Festival, showcases the most recent and innovative films (short and long feature films, fiction and documentaries) made in Iberoamerica. Film Maudit 2.0 (www.filmmaudit.org) is a showcase and celebration of new outré, unusual and startling films. Now approaching its 5th edition, the fest is inspired by legendary artist Jean Cocteau’s festival, Le Film Maudit, which celebrated a group of films that were criminally overlooked and neglected at the time.

The term film maudit literally means “cursed films,” and this showcase of counter-cinema blends together narrative, documentary and experimental films that in their style and/or subject matter, are deliberately bold, extreme, confrontational, troubling, shocking and/or unusual.

We are looking for adventuresome works that eschew conventional genre & format expectations and deal with socio-political issues, taboo subjects, and challenge artistic assumptions and sexual mores. The festival is co-presented by and takes place in part at Southern California's boldest center for new performance and media arts, Highways Performance Space & Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. In its 34th year, Highways continues to be an important alternative cultural center in Los Angeles that encourages radical artists from diverse communities to develop and present innovative new works. Described by the Los Angeles Times as “a hub of experimental theater, dance, solo drama and other multimedia performance,” Highways promotes the development of contemporary socially involved artists and art forms.

Turin Underground Distribution is born.
For its 12th edition, the festival event will last 12 days, allowing more time for in-depth discussions with the authors. TUC12 will take place in a very important location for the Turin "Cinema" universe, located in the heart of the city, at the wonderful Cinema Baretti.
The 12th Torino Underground Cinefest, taking place from September 26th to October 7th, will continue this year's partnership with Sooner.de, aiming to increase the distribution of independent films it receives each year.
Films selected at Torino Underground 2025 will automatically be considered for potential distribution through Sooner. Torino Underground Distribution is an opportunity for directors to take their work to the next level. It's the real chance to distribute your film on Sooner.de and consequently on Amazon Germany and Amazon UK. In recent years, many of the films selected at TUC have been distributed by the German company with whom we have strengthened our partnership. Harrogate Film Festival provides a forum for young and established filmmakers to offer short films in competition. Submissions are welcomed from filmmakers based anywhere in the world. The only exclusions are for films funded by national film studio and television companies or affiliated organisations. Harrogate Film Festival cannot provide any financial support for any aspect of the submission process.
Best Anime Shorts - first "around the globe" Anime Film Festival.
The purposes of the festival are:
to acquaint cinema lovers around the globe with the world's best short films in "action", "adventure", "comedy", "drama", "fantasy", "magic", "supernatural", "horror", "mystery", "psychological", "romance" and "sci-fi" genre.
to discover talented anime films directors and open them to the world.
The festival is a global screening of the best anime shorts. Recently, the festival have distributor and cinema theatre partners in such countries as: UK, Poland, Spain, Mexico, Latvia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Russia, South Africa, Canada, etc.
Firstly, the films are pre-watched by the selection committee members.
Secondly, after the best short films are selected, the right-holders of the films are proposed to take part in the World tour of the festival.
Finally, the moviegoers from different countries can vote for the best movie - Best Anime Short.
The festival requires preview screeners of films to be submitted online (with private Youtube or Vimeo links ONLY). We do not accept physical submissions, i.e. DVDs.
