The Mediterranean Film Festival in Široki Brijeg is characteristic for a unique atmosphere – a mixture of relaxed fun, tourism, rhythm and films. Hence the Festival quickly became the favourite of film workers and audience. Those who once feel the scent of the Mediterranean in this little town of film, shall always return to it. In front of the hall where the projections are going on there is always an interesting atmosphere, and after the projections there is always fun and dancing to the rhythms of urban music till late hours. The Festival is the initiator of the new relations within the world of culture, there is no elitism in it, no VIP boxes, no privileges. Within the last ten years we have succeeded to create an atmosphere in which no one feels alienated, inferior or less invited to be a part of the event.
MFF is the oldest festival of documentary film in the region considering that only documentary films compete here and the largest part of the program is based on documentaries. This is one of the rare festivals that has money prizes for the winners of the festival and in that way helps them to create new film projects. The School of Film Culture with relevant lecturers is being organized within the very MFF. A short documentary film is created every year at the MFF workshop, which we screen at the closure of the festival.
Besides the film projections there are also other programs offered at MFF. First of all the touristic ones, where a new branch, unknown untill now in Hercegovina, is developed – the cultural tourism. Within the tourism part there are the tours visiting the most interesting sites in Hercegovina which might be used as the locations for films shooting. Visits to the most significant touristic potentials of Hercegovina (Međugorje and Mostar) are also organized. We meet the guests of the festival to the exceptional archaeological localities and introduce them with the potentials of ethno tourism. In cooperation with the Tourist Board we get our guests acquainted with the Hercegovinian gastronomy – an extraordinary cuisine that has preserved the ancient taste and has not subdued to the modern culinary novelties, and belongs to a very healthy nutrition.
Mediterranean Film Festival lasts for six days, and all our guests, never mind from which part of the Mediterranean they might come, shall wish to come back again here.
The Creative Arts Film Festival is an annual international film festival that is designed to showcase and promote short films and filmmakers. CAFF runs throughout the entire month of December and we offer worldwide exposure, free promotional listings, international audiences, and the prestigious "Perfect Spirit Film Awards". Since 2003 the international Festival SIGNES DE NUIT is active in Paris, Berlin, Saarbrücken and with special screenings world wide. Sofia MENAR Film Festival permet au public bulgare de se familiariser avec la culture et les traditions du monde islamique. Le programme du Festival de Sofia MENAR présente le meilleur des productions cinématographiques du Moyen-Orient et de l'Afrique du Nord, y compris des longs métrages, des documentaires et des courts projets. De nombreux événements d'accompagnement sont organisés dans le cadre du festival. L'InFest Film Festival est un festival de courts métrages de deux jours qui se tient à Rubí, une ville d'asphalte, d'industrie et de fumée située dans les Valles Occidental, une région située près de Barcelone (Espagne).
Le festival InFest apparaît comme une proposition ferme et claire : que Rubí soit connu comme le Rubiwood du district de Vallés. En 2025, InFest fêtera sa 10e édition annuelle. Après la pandémie de COVID-19, l'InFest a été transféré dans l'amphithéâtre du château de Rubí (« El Castell »), une construction défensive du XIIIe siècle, qui peut accueillir des événements publics réunissant plus de 2 000 personnes. L'amphithéâtre comprend des sièges, une scène et un bar ! Le prix du jury et le prix du public recevront respectivement 1000 et 250 euros.

C'est là que nous commençons, le côté obscur du cinéma, inspiré du légendaire album de Pink Floyd.
Nous commençons par le côté obscur, invisible à l'œil nu, mystérieux, obscur, un côté aux frontières floues et aux nuances infinies, où rien n'est certain, précis, prédéterminé. Non visible plutôt qu'invisible, qu'il se trouve sous la surface ou ailleurs, c'est quelque chose qui ne peut être simplifié car il fait continuellement allusion à des significations plus profondes. C'est le côté du cinéma qui n'est jamais accommodant et toujours curieux, qui nous amène à nous interroger sur le sens de ce que nous voyons, écoutons, percevons.
Si vous regardez de plus près, vous verrez qu'il y a un côté obscur à tout. On le retrouve dans les contes populaires des frères Grimm, dans les visions fantastiques et apocalyptiques de Fritz Lang, dans les archétypes de la fiction narrative de Stephen King, dans les images inoubliables de Stanley Kubrick, dans les poèmes d'Homère comme dans l'épopée du Seigneur des Anneaux de Peter Jackson. Des Saintes Écritures à Game of Thrones, le côté obscur est la force motrice de toutes les formes d'art et le Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest en est l'icône cinématographique.

Axolotl Film Festival of Mexico City with Cactus Films invite Mexican and international filmmakers residing in and outside the country to participate in its second edition to be be held from the 9th to the 13th of November, 2016 in the windows of different shops on the main streets of the Historical Center of Mexico City.
The shop windows are natural screens, generally disregarded, ready to present and recreate our lives and experiences in Mexico City. Commercial establishments are no longer meeting places for citizens and, conversely, are spaces that separate us. We believe that cinema can generate and promote a sense of community among the residents and the visitors of the city.
All participating short film and video need to reference, in their subject matter, characters, settings and/ or storyline, to Mexico City. The short films could have been produced in Mexico City, in other states or abroad.
