The oceans, seas & marine resources, lungs of the earth, are essential for sustainable development.
Promoting the heritage and creativity of the world's islands and caring for the oceans & seas is a major factor in developing the blue bio-economy, which is why we adopted it as the main axes of our cultural and media project.
The islands of the world, through the oceans and the continents of the planet, conceal important cultural and patrimonial wealth, as much by their variety, their specificity as by their authenticity. The islanders, being cut off from the continent, are forced to live in osmosis with their environment, to vibrate to the rhythm of the elements of their natural setting, and to dominate the rigors of their daily life by giving free rein to their creative imagination and their innovative spirit. Welcome to 15th Cinefantasy!
We´ve created the CINEFANTASY - INTERNATIONAL FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL. Encouraging, debating and divulging fantastic cinema and their universe. We present in these fourteen editions 1.336 films, 73 training activities, 5.595 films and an audience of more than 90 thousand people.
The 15th CINEFANTASY will happen at São Paulo, September 15th to 23th, with a program divided into exhibitions, parallel shows and training activities.
We hope you toast and celebrate the magic of this wonderful and fantastic universe with us!

The Northeast Mountain Film Festival originated in a small historic town Dillard, GA nestled in Blueridge mountains with spectacular natural views and sceneries. The first year was celebrated in a very intimate environment where film-makers came over from different countries to celebrate the festivity of films and screenplays. Celebrating its 28th anniversary in 2023, the Festival on Wheels is a traveling event bringing outstanding films to cinema lovers living outside major cities. New cinemas were opened and films were made in destinations where the Festival has been hosted. The Festival presents the latest films from World Cinema, new films from Turkey, special screenings that raise social and cultural awareness, silent films with live music as well as short films. Additionally, the Festival organizes workshops, Q&As, panel discussions and exhibitions. In the last 27 years, the Festival has visited 24 cities in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Greece, Macedonia and Georgia.

FLIXX FEST takes place in 2-3 venues nestled in the scenic and historic Scott Valley among the majesty of the Marble Mountains. We are committed to bringing the best in independent filmmaking to an audience hungry for film, and showcasing films that especially capture some of the region's iconic values: landscape, authenticity, beauty, irreverence, the outdoors, vision, rebellion and independence, in whatever form that takes. We also highly encourage local and regional interest films and animation.
Typically we screen between 45-60 films including shorts, and have gladly welcomed the attendance of several filmmakers with close to 2000 Flixxfesters. This year will be the 6th anniversary of the festival so filmmakers can look forward to another amazing and sold-out weekend in September. Competition awards are typically presented on Saturday at a truly unique Awards dinner, with specialized programming continuing through Sunday.

The Death's Parade Film Festival is happening October 4th and 5th 2019, at the Towne 3 Cinemas in San Jose California ; a 240-seat venue with a built-in stage, equipped with cutting-edge HD digital projection, and a booming surround sound system.

This event also serves as the California Bay Area's first horror-centric film festival in three years. You will not find any sci-fi or fantasy here. Just horror. You may find some laughs, however; be prepared for thrills and chills!
We invite you to participate in the fourth edition of ANIMAL Film Fest, which will take place on October 3, 4 and 5, 2024 with a hybrid model (online and in person) in the city of Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.
