The Lyon Young Film Festival accepts shorts films less than 25 minutes and made by directors under 28. Every directors will be invited to talk after screenings.
The XV Film Festival: Childhood and Adolescence -2024, is a festival with spaces for circulation and audiovisual training for children, adolescents and young people, with exhibitions, recreational activities, workshops, panels and discussions, whose main objective is to promote Bogota as a pioneer city in Latin America in terms of a visible, protagonist and full of rights childhood and adolescence through audiovisual construction. Participation is free of charge to the activities of exhibition and circulation of audiovisual content.
The Contest will be held from September 7 to 13, 2024.
Children and adolescents will have access to an audiovisual program made up of national and international animation and fiction short films, television series and the "FESTICINE AWARD" category, which is given to audiovisuals made by Colombian children. They will be accompanied by playful activities of reflection on the thematic axis: "TERRITORIES OF KNOWLEDGE, BIODIVERSITY AND INCLUSION THROUGH FILM".
Cinema Show Lo + Prohibido, the exhibition where censored, banned, extreme, cursed, unusual, annoying, singular, morbid, violent and politically incorrect cinema comes together.

The City Council of Noia convenes the "24th Short Film Showcase Vila de Noia 2023", to be held in the last quarter of this year.
The first edition of the Zafra’s documentary film exhibition will be held between the 9th and the 12th of July of 2020. This exhibition is devoted to showcasing international and independent documentary film, concerning social issues.
Szczecin Film Festival is a film event, a forum for meetings and cooperation in the field of film, directly on the Polish-German borderland. The festival program is carried out in partnership with a Polish-German network of organizers, and presented in Szczecin/Poland.
The main goal of the European Competition for documentary films at Szczecin Film Festival '21 is to seek out films that broaden the concept of documentary cinema and break its stereotypical image. Each year, the competition presents several dozen carefully selected titles. The chosen documentary films are a cross-section of works that stand out against the background of tired formulae and seemingly played-out topics. Creators known by few and film veterans alike will have a chance to confront their productions with the opinions of the jury and the festival audience. The films presented at the festival are selected by a Polish-German Selection Team. Premieres are considered especially significant. Awards are given by an international jury, which is assembled by the organizers. Apart from film screenings, a relevant and characteristic part of the European Competition are discussions with the presented films' creators.

Our association Pulp Vision, which brings together students interested in cinema, is organising the 12th edition of its short film festival "Tournez-court", which will take place on 25 September 2024. This year's theme is blue, and we'll be showing not only French but also international short films. It's a special edition because we're partnering with the Envie d'Sup association, which works to give secondary school students from priority education areas access to a variety of cultural events. So our festival is keen to contribute to this initiative and give a boost to Rouen's cultural life.

The Kolhapur National Short Film Festival (KNSFF) is for filmmakers and film lovers alike to be entertained, educated and inspired. KNSFF celebrates independent film and recognizes and pays tribute to accomplished artists on both sides of the camera in the international, national and regional film community. We provide filmmakers, producers, directors, writers and actors an environment to collaborate, present their work, and interact with each other and with film audiences. Our priorities are to showcase the most challenging and topically relevant documentaries each year and provide a platform for Others filmmakers.
The JachtFilm Maritime Film Festival continues a long standing tradition from the 1980s. Between 1982 and 1990 the city of Katowice in southern Poland hosted a series of film screenings with national and international maritime and yachting films.
After a long break, caused by political and economical turmoil in Poland and Eastern Europe, the festival was revived. In 2011 Warsaws Kino Wisła was the place to be for all film-loving sailors and mariners – that’s where the current Maritime Film Festival was born.
During the two days of the 2011 edition, over a dozen films and documentaries about Polish and international sailing were screened. Most footage came from the archives of the Polish national television and private directors and producers.
As if those gems were not enough, the audience was able to enjoy stories from our esteemed hosts – captain Janusz Zbierajewski and journalist Andrzej Radomiński.
Their extensive knowledge and seemingly endless humor created a unique atmosphere, enchanting and entertaining the audience.
The following editions brought more big “chunks” of Polish and international maritime cinema to Warsaw. Our audience appreciates the efforts to bring true and exceptional sailing stories to the big screen. We try to screen films not only documenting voyages but also telling a story.
We proud ourselves on the loyalty of our audience. It consists mainly of sailors and sailing enthusiasts, many of which also have interesting sailing stories to tell. Some of them are active sport sailors, but most are recreational mariners.
Our goal was to prepare a balanced mix to suit all our visitors. Sailing has many faces, all of which are worth documenting, especially if there is a captivating human story to tell though sometimes the story of a vessel can be equally breathtaking.
We are also happy to welcome many special guests at each edition, many of which are the protagonists of the shown films.
Since 2013 there has been a very popular addition to the festival – we’re screening submitted short films about sailing and the sea under the motto “Reel me in”.
On December 2020 in Warsaw will host the 9th Maritime Film Festival.

The Vegas CineFest and Awards is an International Film Festival founded in 2008.
We felt there was a lack of effective contests and awards being offered for short and indie projects that could advance the careers of new writers and filmmakers.
We began discussing the idea of launching such a festival and were soon joined by industry veterans whose contributions made the concept a reality and The International Vegas Cine Fest Awards was born. Vegas Cine Fest is an IMDB Qualifying Festival.
